I have a part-time job w/ Anheuser Busch. I only work weekends and I basically work at my own pace. It's a decent college job. Check out your local power distributor, some of my buddies work for the local Electric Corporation and make $10.00 an hour for sitting around at a computer, watching movies, and occasionally answering phones.

Part-Time Job

The greatest part-time job I had as an undergrad was the Air Force National Guard. As a weekend airman I made decent beer money but more importantly the Tuition Assistance program helped me pay out my tuition with little loans. The only real loans I ever took out were for supplemental income. If you have over 32 hours of college credit you can go in at a higher pay grade. PM me if you want more info. or just have any general question. I am far from being a military recruiter, I enjoy my world in Finance a bit to much for that, but I do have a lot of knowledge as a veteran. If you're worried about being deployed, believe it or not there are jobs in the military that aren't as likely to be deployed.

Thanks for the insight however I already researched that option and though I am honorably discharged, I am unable to go back in. (And I don't have any of the benefits that other veterans obtain)

Hey I don't want to hear any complaints b/c I make $2.13/hr. So if I were making $3/hr I'd be thrilled. :(

Update

I applied to two jobs with the govt and have an interview on Monday and a test for a second job on Tuesday. I hope to do the second job but we will see... Both pay more than what I make right now.

Jobs that pay decent

I am assuming you are in college.... Did you ever think about doing home shows for dsa companies (Princess House, Pampered Chef, Partylite etc.)? I sell Princess House and make about $1000.00 a month for doing 2-3 parties a week. Each show takes about 2-3 Hours depending on how much fun you are having. If you want some info PM me and I will get you in touch with someone in your local area. Here is my site if you want to see the products.
