'01 Chevy Silverado looking into the BMW M3

Buttonz 06-27-2006 08:39 AM

I want ot be able to afford a car. Beyond that, I want a Toyota Matrix....I love the car. In dark blue.dark green/dark purple please :)

f8nacn 06-27-2006 10:09 AM

I drive a 2005 Black 4-door Nissan Sentra I want a new Volvo Passat - fully loaded...

Drolefille 06-27-2006 10:11 AM

I have the car I wanted a 2006 Blue Honda Civic. The redesign is kinda sporty and the mileage is awesome. Plus it's rather big for a smaller car.

RU OX Alum 06-27-2006 10:33 AM

I have beat up chevy 2000 S10. I want the Mazda RX-8 but seriously need to buy sooner rather than later so I'm thinking the new VW or Mazda 3 since that is still a Mazda but still not really what I want so who knows.

AlphaFrog 06-27-2006 10:39 AM

I have an '04 Chevy Aveo right now, but I'm actually in process of looking because it's way too small. If I had unlimited funds, I'd be looking at the Honda CR-V or the Toyota Highlander Hybrid. But, since I'm on a budget, I've been looking at the Grand Vitara or possibly a Chevy Tracker (I know they don't make them anymore, but if I can find a low miles used one, I'll probably go for that).

KatieKate1244 06-27-2006 12:09 PM

I should probably mention that I don't drive. My parents couldn't afford the insurance for me or my older sister when we were in high school, and when they could (which was like 3 years ago), I'm not home enough to actually learn. I assume one of these days I'll learn...or move to a large city and make use of public transportation.

Realistically, I want a Wagoneer, or a late 80's sedan of some sort. I can't afford (car or insurance) anything more!

In my dreams, I want the new Volvo hardtop convertable. Or a 1963 Impala convertable.

Jeditiger 06-27-2006 12:11 PM

Hey poeple, hello to all, Im new here and i cant beleive i havnt found this place sooner..

You all drive some fantastic machines well done..

I drive a 1990 Holden(GMH) VN SS Commodore. Heres a pic of my beast..

Looking forward to getting to know you all..

Gina1201 06-27-2006 01:37 PM

I drive a 2005 Mercury Mariner but want a Hyundai Azera.

BobbyTheDon 06-27-2006 01:52 PM

Dude. My friend just got a Mercedes Benzo SLK 350.

We all make fun of him for not getting a SL 550 or 600. But then again he is the one driving the SLK 350 and not us.

Which btw. EmporerCLB, I know you aren't on GC anymore. But you know who I'm talkin about!

How's the roominess in the Benz? It's hard to make out with high school girls in my car.

Scandia 06-27-2006 07:47 PM

I drive a 2003 Toyota Corolla.

My next car will be a Ford Taurus. It will be either forest green or sky blue.

However, I do hope my car lasts a long time. And that my next car will be available as a hybrid.

DeltAlum 06-27-2006 07:48 PM

I drive a Chrysler. I want a Porsche.
I've always driven roadsters until now

MaryAmanda 06-27-2006 07:58 PM

I drive a silver 2003 Toyota Celica GT. I'm not a big car person, but I love this car.

In the next few weeks, my boyfriend will be getting rid of his car (an '88 Honda Accord that's near the end of its days) and getting a new Scion tC... :D

What about the Toyota Rav 4's? The '06 ones have a lot of room in them, and they get pretty good gas milage

WhiteDaisy128 06-27-2006 09:14 PM

My baby! I drive a 2004 Mazda 3:

I wouldn't want any other car in the world!! Well...if someone just gave me a corvette, I'd drive it. ;)

macallan25 06-27-2006 09:24 PM

07 4x4 Tahoe
http://aol.auto123.com/ArtImages/54110/01.jpg

Would like a Range Rover.

SOPi_Jawbreaker 06-27-2006 10:51 PM

These are my rides right now: http://www.nrel.gov/vehiclesandfuels...es/mta_bus.jpg http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/image...ens_ap203b.jpg

If I had money, I'd get one of these: http://images.securedwebform.com/sto...e/2006/4sa.jpg http://www.brabus-online.de/pic_prog/02classic06.jpg http://www.abauto.be/sitemap/porsche..._jaarwagen.jpg

epchick 06-28-2006 11:58 AM

I drive an '03 Hyundai Sonata...its really roomie, and i'm loving it.

I used to drive a '95 Nissan Sentra, but I got in a car accident during Spring Break and I totalled my poor Sentra, so my parents got me the Sonata.

I would love for my next car to be a Dodge Durango, a Nissan Armada, something along those lines :D

The love of my automotive life right now is a '04 Mazda 3 5-door in gunmetal. She's wonderful. She like to go almost as fast as I do and loves curvy roads.

But if I could have anything else I'd take a Mazda RX-8 or maybe CX-7; something restored from the 30s-40s with suicide doors or a true Duesenberg; and maybe Jaguar XK or S-type R. I really want a garage with about 50-100 muscle and classic cars to cruise around in.

NinjaPoodle 06-28-2006 05:45 PM

I traded my scoot in for a 2005 Ninja EX500 back in April
:p :D http://www.kellys-kawasaki.com/imgs/...d_ac_3_392.jpg

This is the 250 but I want the 500. They look pretty much the same.

What I REALLY want is a REAL Humvee!http://www.amgeneralcorp.com/Gallery...025armored.jpg I want the ARMY issue version, not the SUV prissy version.

KunjaPrincess 06-28-2006 09:14 PM

I have an 06 Ford Expedition in a nice brown with beige accents (gamma phi colors LOL)

Mr Kunja drives an 04 Chevy Avalanche.

I would like to have either an 07 Tahoe as I love the new body style or a mustang. Think the Tahoe is more realistic with kids though :)

Tippiechick 06-28-2006 10:28 PM

We have a 2006 Chevy HHR. I LOVVVVVE it.

But, if I could get anything else, I would get a Nissan Murano I think.

Schmeer 06-29-2006 10:17 AM

Right now I have a Volvo but I have my eye on the Dodge Caliber..

I haven't seen one in person, but I hear it has a built in iPod holder, a cooler in the glove compartment and fold down speakers that come down from the trunk. Pretty nice extra features, I must say....

PiPhiGirl2005 06-30-2006 12:27 PM

I have a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire, but I'd like to buy a 2001 or 2002 Jetta.

GeekyPenguin 06-30-2006 02:42 PM

I have a 1999 Mazda Protege LX 5-speed in red. I drive her in the summers and in the winter I am going to start to trade with my mom, who has a 2001 Mazda Tribute LX-V6. People up here scare me in the winter so I think I'll like having something bigger. I take the bus to school so at least the gas won't kill me.

I would love an old-school Rabbit convertible, although the upkeep would be insane.

FAB*SpiceySpice 06-30-2006 05:25 PM

I have a 2004 black Lexus IS300 which I love more than anything (except when it snows b/c it's rear wheel drive) but it will be time soon for a new car. I'd love a Range Rover (yeah right) or more likely an Audi or a BMW...I'd like a Benz but I think I'd look totally ridiculous driving one. We'll see though, I still have a good 6 months until I decide what to get...;)

Yes I'm quoting myself.

Close but not quite, we got an '05 Jeep Liberty CRD last summer. Gets pretty good mileage, but there is not nearly enough room with kid to haul all our crap around. The husband says they're releasing a diesel Grand Cherokee in 07 so we'll probably either upgrade to that or an E85 flexfuel Tahoe or Suburban when we have another kid.

I just got an 07 Tahoe and the dealer said getting flexfuel was a really dumb idea. I got a normal 4x4 and put a special air intake system and get 5 or 6 more miles per gallon, very pleased.

irishpipes 06-30-2006 08:00 PM

I drive a Sagebrush Pearl (fancy term for gray with metallic green specks) Acura MDX. I like it except it has a gray leather interior which is depressing to me.

This summer I was test driving a red BMW 325i and a Volvo S80 because I thought a sedan would get better gas mileage than my SUV, but they don't really.

I got the husband a K&N system for his truck last year, he's gotten maybe 2-3 more miles/gallon since then. Mostly we want the flexfuel option because it's supporting local agriculture and fuel should/will be cheaper. He already uses an ethanol blend in his truck and I use biodiesel when I can. He prefers diesel, though, if we can get it.

macallan25 07-01-2006 02:36 PM

Yeah, that is a good thing about the flexfuel.

ADqtPiMel 07-01-2006 04:07 PM

I drive a 2004 white Dodge Neon, which I love. Someday I'd like an Audi.

AlphaSigOU 07-01-2006 08:40 PM

Drive a 2005 Chevy Cavalier... would like an Aston Martin DB9 with front machine guns, lasers and ejector seat, but I can't afford champagne taste on a beer budget! :) ;) :D

Xylochick216 07-01-2006 10:31 PM

I love my Ford Escape. I'd be happy to trade it in for a hybrid model. It's a fun car to drive :)

AGDee 07-02-2006 08:50 AM

Driving a 1999 Chevy Cavalier (which seems to be on it's last legs) and Hoping and Praying I can get either a Pontiac Vibe or the hybrid Saturn Vue when it comes out.

iastategal 07-02-2006 08:53 AM

I drive a Black 2003 Lexus ES 300. I am looking to trade it in for a 2006/2007 Lexus RX 400h (the small hybrid sport utility).

tld221 07-03-2006 02:43 AM

co-signing on the "hey look what i drive! <insert pic of mode of public transportation>"

you know, i dont have a desire to learn to drive anymore? i know, so young and all. but if i had money like that, id just get a chauffeur. just sit back and keep it movin!

Schmeer 07-26-2006 12:38 PM

Even though I have a car, i still take public transportaion all the time (I'm a big subway fan) because parking is so expensive in the city!

That's another reason I'm looking at possibly getting a Dodge Caliber...it's pretty affordable, but still has a nice look to it.
