It is, but don't complain - it took us 106 years to get even that.;)

33girl 05-03-2007 03:57 PM

Google is funny.

I love George Benson.

Why did I wear a too tight top and pantyhose to work today???

AlphaFrog 05-04-2007 12:48 PM

There's a brand new song on the radio. It's called "I'm not who I used to be"...it kinda freaked me out.

AlphaFrog 05-11-2007 01:26 PM

Go to AOL.com today and watch the top left corner.:D

(Sheila, I know you won't get as excited as I did)

So Herff Jones is officially the slowest company ever. On May 10, I ordered these two things as initiation gifts for myself:

Today I got a letter from them saying that the estimated delivery date is June 22. How long does it take for them to pack and ship out something that's mass-produced?

AlphaFrog 05-20-2007 01:03 PM

Supposedly, the badge charms aren't mass produced, they're "supposed" to be fitted to the actual badge. "quote, quote"

cuteASAbug 05-20-2007 01:07 PM

The chased one isn't, only the circular one is. I didn't have to send my badge in for that one. Not that it matters, since the badges are probably mass-produced anyways.

LouisaMay 05-22-2007 12:37 PM

I had the same issue! I ordered the star/crown charm, and it took something like 8 weeks. I am really happy with my purchase though:)

33girl 05-23-2007 02:38 PM

I love Zeta Theta's word of the week. giggity.

So it's great how we have Sister Circle and all, but it would also be super if it worked from time to time.

Coolest thing ever.

AlphaFrog 06-12-2007 10:29 AM

Does anyone know officially about wearing your badge on a ring/necklace...are you supposed to be in pin attire still?

PS...I want that Phoenix. I love that as our symbol. It's just so different from stars and pearls and ladybugs and crowns that other groups claim too.

33girl 06-12-2007 10:49 AM

I've always loved the Phoenix too. We used it as much as we could because it was so cool & different.

As far as the necklace/ring question, the only time I've seen them is at convention when everyone was in pin attire anyway, so I'm not sure. Shoot Andrea T a message or post on SisterCircle & ask.

I was wondering about that also since my badge charm is in the mail. I really want that Phoenix. I'm almost debating getting it for my chapter so we can put it out during recruitment. Think of how it will look surrounded by a sea of red things with black polka dots on them.

cuteASAbug 06-12-2007 02:42 PM

huh?

cuteASAbug 06-12-2007 02:45 PM

I did not know that.

AlphaFrog 06-15-2007 03:02 PM

You know what's cool?

We have an awesome Mod who's on top of things.

I mean really, really awesome.

33girl 06-15-2007 03:04 PM

are we still testing? har. You have to tell me what you did for the test to work.

I finally got these yesterday and I love them! The charm is a lot bigger than I expected it to be, so from a distance it just looks like a really cool necklace as opposed to a sorority thing.

I wonder if it's that big because our badges used to be bigger.

Well, and I guess it has to fit all 26 NPC badges (or at least the ones that allow them to be worn as other jewelry.

33girl 06-21-2007 11:44 AM

In answer to the test, I can still see it. Try editing!

Good idea, girls. I'll delete these after the sig reset is done.

What kind of guard is this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/Fraternity-Pin-A...QQcmdZViewItem

33girl 07-02-2007 04:54 PM

That looks like a fraternity pin or something from a military school. It isn't anything I've ever seen in connection w/ us.

AlphaFrog 07-02-2007 05:47 PM

I guess one of our sisters got pinned and then lost BOTH badges...

That would be my guess...
