Sheesh, where do I begin?
1. Shopping, especially shoes. Can't wait to hit Parade/Nine West/Macy's when I am in NYC next month. I also love finding a real bargin. Man, I love a good bargin. I get such a rush when I do. Especially on designer brands. Sad, but true. 2. GreekChat. No need to explain to my fellow GC addicts out there. 3. McDonald's breakfast foods. Pick one, any one. I Love 'em all! 4. Chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. Any brand will do, I ain't picky. 5. Ice. Gotta have it. 6. Lipstick/lipliner. I have about 50 tubes of lipstick in every shade of brown you can imagine. Some of them look exactly the same, just ever so slightly different. Other lipstick addicts know what I mean. I only wear lipstick and eyeliner so it's not like a spend a ton on make-up. 7. Earrings. Love 'em, won't *read can't* leave home without 'em. 8. Piņa Coladas and Cosmos. Those are my drinks! I will be getting my drink on this Friday. Last day of school, YES!!! ------------------ Sigma Lambda Upsilon: Sincerity, Loyalty, Unity http://www.sigmalambdaupsilon.org [This message has been edited by Serenity (edited June 13, 2001).] |

I'm addicted to:
*my sweetheart *underwear!!! *listening to Maxwell *icecream (especially Breyer's Butter Pecan) |

Okay, let's see. What else? I'm addicted to the Barnes & Noble. I have read practically EVERYthing in the store. I work hard to avoid any ounce of responsibility for the sake of goofing off there. I've developed long lasting relationships with the employees there. They all know me by name, and give me free stuff from the cafe all the time. (That's how sickening it is.) I'm addicted to Skittles, too. I love fruity candies. GOLF!!! I have a drive for that game you wouldn't BELIEVE. I can't really play, per se, but I can cetainly FAKE like it. I know the game, because I've read all the BOOKS!! This is one addiction I have difficulty getting people to feel me on. LOLOL!! But, Tiger Woods is usually a nice ploy for the ladies, though. And I'm addicted to studying Music history. I have, as of late, developed a terrible obsession with the great composers. I started with Beethoven, but then I watched the movie "Amadeus" three times in one weekend. So, now I'm presently studying Mozart these days, but Chopin has recently peeked my interests, too. I know, ... I have NO life. ------------------ No weapon formed against me shall prosper, for I am a child of the Most High God, Who sits upon the Throne of Grace, and rules all Heaven and Earth. |
I am addicted to:
*Books and CD's Every weekend I am on the go looking for a new book to read and a new CD to buy. Sometimes I buy CD's I know I probably won't like but I'll keep it just to add to my collection. *Potatoe Chips I love them all...well except for plain. But, if it has flavor, then I will at least try them a few times. *The Internet I just can't stay off of it, even at work. *Making Long Distance phone calls I can't help I know a lot of people who aren't locals. *Shopping for cute infant boys' clothes It is so hard to find really, really cute outfits for boys. |
Lately I cannot get enough of Greekchats. Everyday I can't wait to see what the new theard is and who had responded to it. :p I love to dig up an old thread too!

i'll bite...
I am addicted to three things:
- hand sanitizer (or the individually wrapped moist towelettes) - chicken nuggets (hey, i've cut back to only once or twice a week!) - driving (I don't know what it is, but i always end up driving on roadtrips, even if it's someone elses' car or a rental. I even get up and drive around if i'm bored, or if it's the middle of the night and i can't sleep). |
I am addicted to:
1. Greekchat 2. Gummy Bears (only the fresh ones, the rest are so hard the muscles in my face hurt when I chew them):p 3. Cotton Candy-can't get enough of that fluffy stuff:D 4. Tacos 5. Soft Ice Cream This one is really crazy! 6. Sex:eek: I guess that is why I have this job as a health educator, and I work with "diverse" populations |
I can't believe that I missed responding to this one!!!!!!
Oh boy, here are my addictions.....
1. Wise Hot cheese popcorn (it's a NY thang... :p ) 2. chocolate (men, ice cream, candy bars, etc., etc., etc.) 3. Ben & Jerry's ice cream (a variety of flavors; too many to name) 4. GreekChat :D 5. Well groomed, handsome men with big booties :p 6. Music videos 7. R. Kelly's TP-2.com (he may be a molesta, but I still looooove the CD :p ) 8. Jagged Little Thrill; track #12 (those of you that have the CD know what I'm talking about) 9. Chocolate & Caramel Creme Cremesavers 10. Roller coasters That's all that I can thnk of right now. If I think of anymore, I'll post them just for you guys!!! :D ;) :p |
I'm addicted to sweet/sour candy. Well, I'm not as bad as I used to be. I guess I'm a reformed addict, but not by choice, by necessity. My body just can't metabolize the sugar like it used to.

Have you been put on to any of the cheat codes? It's GREAT to have as much money as you want. |
Girrrrl those cheat codes are ill!
THey are responsible for a lot of great landscaping and more than a few big screen tv's lol. The only thing I find frustrating is having them make friends- if I make them too outgoing so they make friends easily, then I have a hard time controlling that- they have to iteract EVERY DAY or they're miserable! The cheat on changing their personalities makes that easier. Yesterday I was playing the game, and adopted a baby for one of my sets of roomies by mistake. Why oh why. They both had good jobs! noooooo baby! Couldn't save anything. Had to go and rebuild folks' house. Argh! I think my Mom has not yet caught on to how addicted to teh game I am, so there has been no fallout, lol. Once she realizes that it has replaced Sim Civilization (The illest Sim game ever, bar none) then the b*itching will start, lol. Quote:

Sim Civilization aka Sid Meier's Civilization (mine is version 2)- you pick a civilization, start out with a settler and build cities. Starting at 4000 BC, with the game ending 2020 AD, your cities build walls, you pick advances that give your civilization strengths (the great wall of china means that no one can succesfully declare war on you for instance, at least until the discovery of gunpowder), you pick forms of government. Pre-Sims, the most addictive game in the world (worse than sim tower). I advise you don't do it to yourself. I can e-mail you the list of cheat codes I dl'd when I got the game (I didn't buy the sims, I got it off of Kazaa- that's why I love the internet!) |
Yes, it's true.... we are nerds, LOL.
*flush* That was the sound of me flushing the rest of my life down the toilet playing all the new Sims stuff you're telling me about....
WHAT??? You downloaded the Sims??? I'm assuming you can't download the expansion packs? I'm on my way to Kazaa right after I finish this. Girl, this Sim Civilization sounds dope. I HAVE to have it. I swear, all I want for Christmas is a bunch of expansion packs. Yes, please email me a list of the cheat codes. YAY!!! Why am I this hype? I'll PM you with my email address. Lovelyivy, you are officially the bomb! |

I am so bad about all this, I have even got my young cousin (he's 10) hooked. He came over and saw me playing and was DESPERATE to play. I wouldn't let him mostly because I didn't want the beginner to mess up my people after i spent ALL THAT TIME establishing them, but I promised him the Kid's Sims for X-mas. I'll send ya my cheat codes as soon as I get home. and FYI- in Sim Civ you can advance your society to the point where you have spaceships. You start out with 3-5 civs other than your own, compete for land and resources, can get spies and diplomats and get points for destroying the other civilizations. I actually managed to destroy all other civilizations during one game, earning myself a place in the hall of fame as Egweiye the Clever (I always play as the zulus/persians/chinese) Too Much Fun. |
