I'll have to check my lj b/c I belong to a few of them.

Awww, I miss H_E on LJ. That was my all-time favorite LJ community ever. I may go back if I can work out the time. I don't spend much time online at home.

It's gotten a bit wanky lately but overall, I still enjoy myself there.

Another community that I get a kick out of is the booklisters community started by our own seraphimsprite. It's for people that enjoy literature and reading (doesn't matter the genre). Serious discussions only.

It's official... I've given up on LJ. I'm more of a myspace whore these days (add meeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! Do we have a myspace thread?? If not, I may have to start one), and I hardly ever even blog on there - no less keep up on a journal. *sigh* Has anyone else fallen behind on the LJ-ing??

But on the contrary. I've had my LiveJournal since July 2002 and I still manage to update it at least once or twice a week. Of my 98 mutual friends, I'd say about 80% of them also update it frequently.

LiveJournal and MySpace serve different purposes. At the same time, stuff I post on LJ is stuff I'm not comfortable revealing to my friends on MySpace, which is why the majority of my crap is marked private. MySpace isn't so secure, either.

It's in the Chit Chat forum, but be careful when you leave your link. That and make sure your profile's private because the GreekChat psycho likes to keep files on people she doesn't like.

I update my lj more than my myspace for the same reasons OTW does.

My page is private also b/c of the freaks that permeate GC.

Don't forget about the creepy HS classmate that has pictures of you on his profile!

Yeah, I see LJ way differently than MS, and I'm really not a MS fan either. I just recently got back into LJ so I'm a renewed addict :D

There are some days when it takes forever to catch up on my flist on LJ & then there are days when it seems like no one is posting.

I hate MS and love LJ. Looking at someone else's LJ has never crashed my internet browser. I wish I could say the same for MS but alas, too many illiterate morons have lowered the tone of the entire internet. Why oh why did they make it so stupidproof? I have a very bare-bones MS that I made just so I could log in and look at other people's photos. You will never find some shitty top 40 song that will scare the crap out of you when it starts playing suddenly, or some huge gaudy glitter graphic that takes up half the page on my MS. In fact, you won't find much of anything because I'm too damn lazy to fill anything out on it.

Ditto! And on dialup, that top 40 song will make the rest of your life slow down for like 15 minutes until it loads and the rest of your pages do too

I have a nice layout & song on my profile but it doesn't take forever to load. My page is simple. I hate the pages that have like 1000+ glitter images. Those drive me crazy!

Yes, yes, and YES! My brother's girlfriend has 812 glitter images and always posts when she adds more. I just don't get them.

Yeah well we can't expect anything less from her, can we now? ;)

LOL! Actually, different brother....I have a handful of them. The only way I got sisters was when I became a SK!

Damn...I got one biological sister and two brothers. My sister and I don't mesh well and I'm a huge tomboy which was why I needed girl help from my sisters in sigma kappa.
But come on...bulletins everytime she adds another gaudy glitter graphic? People should be shot. First of all they're eyesores, secondly there's about an 85% chance it's misspelled :D

I can't decide if my favourite livejournal community is trashy_eats or food_porn. Good stuff comes out of both. I also love bad_[horseback]riding (brackets are my own). Dramabombs go down so well in there, I love it! youtube just proves that people are atrocious horsemen/women and we all sit and laugh at it then write comments on youtube which results in a flamewar. Trust me, if you're into horses, it's pretty damn funny.

I get irritated by friends who post stupid bulletins beggin their friends to comment on their new pictures/blog/layout etc. That's just so stupid!

So does this mean that I should take down my recent bulletin that says "OMG, PLEEZE LOOK AT MY NEW LAYOUT, IT ROX!!!!" :p

As long as you're not saying "OMG PLEEZE LOOK AT MY NEW LAYOUT AND TELL ME HOW AWESOME IT IS IT ROXORS AND IF YOU SAY IT SUX I'LL PUT YOU OUT OF MY TOP FRIENDS LIST"
