...I had to serve on a jury trial (DUI case) the last 2 days? ...if you're in trouble, go with a jury trial cause once people get in the jury room they don't care 'nuthin 'bout what the judge said to go by? ...our jury was deadlocked 7-1 in favor of acquittal? ...I was the 1? ...if you're arrested at 2:15 a.m. on DUI and on police videotape at 3:50 a.m. in the police station you STILL can't find your nose with your finger 3x in a row, that's a pretty good sign that you was on tilt? ...there were like 6 other facts that pointed to his incapacity that I won't list here due to space? ...people made all kinda excuses? ...I found out that the "non-melanin" population dislikes the po-po as much as some of us do? ...they tried to get lightweight mad because I wouldn't change my mind? ...I was like, yall must not know who I am? ...I prayed last night that I wasn't just being stubborn? ...by the end the other jurors congratulated me for sticking with my convictions? ...I thought I just stuck to common sense? ...common sense don't live at the courthouse, yall? |

HC on Feb. 17 I put my official pin in a brand-name jewelry store? HC because it had 2 pearls missing? HC they call me back later that afternoon with an estimate and should they go ahead and get it repaired? HC I tell them yes? HC they said it would take about 2 weeks? HC that's no problem because I didn't need it until tomorrow morning, so it should be back in plenty time? HC it took just a little over 2 weeks? HC they called yesterday? HC I go out there today at lunch? (HC I was late getting back because Dillard's was having a sale, but I digress?) HC I look at the pin? HC INSTANTLY I see that 1 pearl is still missing from the very top? HC Brunette Barbie says "I wonder what happened?" HC BB calls "the man" HC she tells him that the little pearl wasn't in the baggie? HC then she asks me "Well, you can't wear it like this?" HC heffa, yes, I can HC BUT NO I'M NOT GOING TO, HEFFA! HC she looks at me like "what's the problem?" HC she says "It's so small, no one will notice!" HC at this point, I'm trying not to grab her in her collah? HC I told her that there are supposed to be 20 pearls in there and they have a special meaning, so no, I WILL NOT wear a pin with 19 pearls? HC the absolute earliest they could possibly get the pearl (this doesn't include fixing it) is Monday? HC *le sigh*? HC :mad:, but I'm bettah now? |
