I saw it too. You're right. No big deal. But the FCC reacts to Congressional push to get "smut" off of the public airwaves -- read that shock jocks, etc. and CBS takes it in the .... uh .... ankle.

Didn't you post that when it happened that it was a big deal and something about kids and all that?

There are no standards for the FCC. It judges the way it wants and needs to be destroyed.

Radio waves aren't going into your head...you don't have to tune into a specific program...but the FCC is saying what people can and can't think. Great.

Never happen -- congress has been hijacked by the religious folks. It's unfortunate that this is the law. However, as long as it is, it should be enforced.

It sounds like the old definition of porn "I know it when I see it".

Yeah, you're right. I should have qualified my most recent statement that what actually happened was no big deal to me personally.

I did (do) object if the folks at MTV really were aware in advance because of the make-up of the audience -- and the fact that, like it or not, it is against the law.
