I just signed up for the Chicago marathon in October. Jeez, I think I am crazy. This marathon stuff gets addictive, eh????? Anyone ever run the Chicago marathon? As a former Chicago resident, I am pretty excited to experience the city on a whole nother level.

Awesome, congrats. Yes, I have run chicago. It is fast, and larger than San Diego I believe. You will likely run a faster time, depending on the wind. Congrats, you are now addicted.

This might be a really stupid question, but here goes: does everyone actually run the entire marathon? Aren't there some people who stop and walk fastly? I just can't imagine running that much in one day...but I guess that's why you start training 6 months in advance.

I'm going to do the Race for the Cure in Baltimore in October, but that's only a 5K. I wonder if I could ever do a marathon without dying!? :p
