I think it really depends on the situation.
My first was 16(the age of consent in Kentucky) and I was 18.......His parents knew, mine.........I dont guess they know....well they dont need to. I dont see anythgin wrong with that because ti me that's the same as an 18 year old bf and a 16 year old gf..........however....i do know of a case where a 25 year old female did have sex with and got pregnant by a 17 year old male...........I had a problem with that......(then she wondered why he didnt claim that kid, but she's in prison now for something else which is fine because she always put herself and men before the needs of her children and those people deserve to be locked up but that's a separate thread). I wouldnt necessarily have pegged her as a sexual preadator, but i just had a problem with that and I think she knew better thatn to get into a situation like that............*shakes head* PLUS who can forget the story a few years back of the female teacher who got pregnant not once, but TWICE by her 7th grade student.......that again is a serious problem......she was/is a sexual predator. I dont care what either of them try to justify, that's the reality of that situation. |
No. I think the guy is just viewed as lucky.
Feminism as a movement has done a good job portraying all men as potential predators and all women as victims waiting to happen. Quote:

I agree with you, James. I feel it is the same crime so it should be handled similarly. I think people have a hard time swallowing the fact that women could be/are predators or offenders -- when it is unlike the situation with ThetaPrincess but like the 25 year old woman becoming pregnant by a 17 year old as she mentioned.

Treated the same yes, But also reduced to the woman's standard if there is consent.
There was a case in California I believe where a female teacher took her 15 year old student to Nevada for a few days of sex. She got caught. Lost her job of course. And was given 3 months probation or something. The boy was consenting ofcourse lol but was under the age of legal consent. If that had been a male teacher, I would wager that he would be doing upwards of ten years in jail. So the message isn't that we view extreme disparity of ages as bad per se, the message is that women are not really responsible for themselves. They need to be protected from temselves and the people around them. Quote:

I agree with James here too. My best friend of 21 years, her lil brother was sexually abused by a much older (in her 50's) woman when he was six years old. She was the family's babysitter. Whiel the woman never touched my best friend or her older sister, the abuse was only to the brother, supposedly she used to stick tools like screw drivers in his anus. He's got rectal scarring and everything.......it actually was repressed for many years but came back to him as he was starting puberty.......very sad situation.
Anywho......while this someone is rumored to have molested her nephew who is disabled, she never served jailtime, and is still walking the streets of my hometown. IT MAKES ME SICK. My best friend's brother was in constant fear, despite the family changing their phone numbers, and changing the locks and codes on their house. This woman needs to be locked up with the key thrown away, or as i said in another post int his thread, FRIED!!!! I agree that women molesters dont get as harsh punishments as men molester do. Which is ashame. No matter the sex, molestation is wrong and people need to be held accountable and be punished. PERIOD. |

Women don't get harsh punishments, but I've always suspected it's the same reason why the situation of women who beat their husbands gets laughed at--women are not seen as agressive, and if anything, the modern women's movement has resulted in the changing view of women as less docile than they were originally seen to be. Violence perpetrated by women is not seen as serious, while the same acts committed by men are. It can be seen as this: a controlling boyfriend who tries to change his girlfriend is abusive, but a controlling girlfriend who tries to change her boyfriend is merely henpecking. I don't think this is caused by feminism; more the traditional gender roles that see women as the weaker. There's also, sadly, the burden of proof against male sex offenders that might not be there against female predators. As a proud feminist, I believe that all sexual predators--regardless of gender--should receive punishment. |
The only solution
The only solution is to severely beat the girl. Do it because of feminism guys. Do it when she acts up. Heck, do it when she's being good just to make her remember.
