well, i would definitely go with the one that has a member that had a sex change. i mean, i'm all about diversity and getting to know all kinds of people. and imagine what a drinker he/she would be! there would be all kinds of partying going on there! and he/she can introduce you to all the hot guys in her fraternity! mad hook-ups, people, mad hook-ups!

"fraroity" might be a good idea -- at Southeast Central State Agricultural and Metallurgical University - Desert Falls last year the Beta Sigma chapter of SHIM won BOTH fraternity of the year and sorority of the year.

It was an awesome ceremony, though. Their Panhellenic representative (who was intramurals chair of IFC the year before) accepted the awards and gave a little speech. S/he said that SHIM love really showed when two members wanted to do a sex change at the same time. They decided instead of having all the reconstructive surgery they would just have the various body parts tranplanted between them. So the night before the surgery they had a dinner at their house and everybody wished them well by singing "Pass It On."

You know, there's a very real problem here. Since SHIM is a fairly new frarority, who writes the recs? Do we all write them, no matter what the affiliation? Can I write a rec if I'm still in college? What if I'm in a different GLO on the same campus, Can I still write a rec? What if I'm a pledge? Can I? Really?

Is it true that they have to wear their pledge pins on their underguccis and be prepared to show them on command?

I do, no, if you're an active SHIM, only if it isn't a Top 6 sorority at Texas, if you are a SHIM pledge in good standing. Yes, and yes.
