The rowdy ass Texas GC'ers were the first ones I met. Actually, Adrianna was the first one I met and I think we were both freaking out that we were partying together, havign read each others posts for so long.

I'd like to meet a lot more. It'd be cool. If not for GC, there'd be a lot of GLO's I'd never had the pleasure of being introduced to.

I just had dinner at John's Pizzeria where I met Andy (lifesaver) and xok8xo with Munchkin and Lovelyivy whom I had met previously. I kept thinking about the loud and rowdy group of senior citizens who kept interrupting us, lol!

Rowdy ass? Oooh no, I know you just didn't! :p And yeah, it was sort of weird, but it was a good time because I don't remember a lot of it. :eek:

I've met AlphaFrog, alphachiohmy, AXJules, damasa, GeekyPenguin, qtbecks, and Mr qtbecks at the Chicago get-together and sairose @ SAI Convention this summer. :)

Ditto on GC Chicago (Kinda sounds like its own reality television series) Have also met SigmaChiCard and Valkyrie, when I first moved to Chicago.

Its cool that so many people have gotten to meet each other. The only gc'er I have met is buttonz and that's because we go to school together. I missed the NYC get together b/c it was so last minute. :( But if there is ever another one i'll definitely be there!

To answer your question...yes, I'll be in London for a couple of days right after Christmas day. I'll be on my way to Stockholm to see my lady. Believe it or not I have friends in Notts (Nottingham) and I've asked Decadence if he knows some of them...being that its a small town and all.



Other times I've been in the UK, I've went to some of the EDM music festivals and clubs there. GateCrasher-the club, Homelands, Creamfields, etc etc etc. Its a lot of fun. I try to stay away from Britian as much as I can. The girls there love me and I can't help myself when they start talking to me. That accent just makes me wanna bang them, thats why I try to stay away from you british girlies...its not healthy for me to be around you ladies from that island.:D ;) The Americans and the British are two peoples seperated by a common language. Yet, we rule the world.

I've just moved back to the US having studied at the University of Bristol for my MEd. My long-time boyfriend graduated from the University of Nottingham in 1997 and thus we know a handful of people there - probably no one who would know you. On a side note, Nottingham is not a "small town". (???)


When I was looking into grad schools, I interviewed at a few in Britain. One of them was the Univ. of Nottingham - a choice which made my bf very happy seeing as he was afraid I would apply to Nottingham Trent University. Right, so he could taunt me and call me a "traitor" all year, I don't think so! (Down with NTU! :p to decadence). Though, that wasn't an issue as I elected to accept the offer from Bristol.


Anyway, Notts is an alright place. I was just wondering as you seem to be globe-trotting kind of guy. Too bad I'm not there anymore, it would have been....uhm... interesting to meet you at one of our GC UK gatherings.

I would be up for another Chicago GC gathering or an Orlando one. I'm so bummed that I couldn't make it to the Chicago one because I live literally 3 miles from Woodfield! Grr.

Maybe we could do one over Christmas break when more people'd be around? I'd be up for another one too!

I met up with 4 GCer's during a GC get together at Downtown Disney over this past summer.

I also talked with someone from GC who went to the same high school as me! She was 2 years ahead of me and was a member of our small flags.
