saw somewhere on here the recipe for jungle juice was 2 handels of everclear. I don't know if it's just different out where i am but we can only find it in 5th's. I dunno maybe it's just living in New Mexico they don't carry it or what not. Well anyway for anyone who likes a good strong drink that tastes like nothing, what you do is make amaretto sours just get like cheap alberstons brand amaretto and sweet and sour mix, then use everclear shots in them. for a decent size cup like 1 shot everclear 2 shots amraetto rest sweet and sour on ice. Damn good stuff and 3 of em will get you nice and wasted.

Something to think about:
Different alcohol gives you a different kind of "drunk". Beer: You get more drunk in direct relation to how much you drink, no real hangover unless you get absolutely plastered. Hard Alcohol: Sneaks up on you, you drink a few and then all of a sudden WHAM! Shitfaced.... medium chance of hangover Jungle Juice: This includes all fruity "girl" drinks... high sugar mixed with hard alcohol = big possibillity for hangovers.... We try to keep things balanced and will do both Jungle Juice and Beer... but I know which nights I'm willing to risk feeling like crap the next day and which nights I just want to drink some beer and go out! |

this thread is making me thirsty...
From a fraternity standpoint, all common sources of alcohol (including kegs) are strictly prohibited unless done through a third party vendor. So for any party where the fraternity doesn't have a vendor, beer is essentially all that can and should be allowed. I won't get into all the stuff about providing alcohol to minors/women, but essentially the reason why beer is because it has less of an effect on your blood alcohol level than hard liquor, and it is much easier to monitor. |
