Done and done.

Sometimes I wish I was that sterotypical sorority girl who looks perfect all the time. Her hair, make-up, and clothes are perfect. I have to wear a ugly green uniform shirt to work 4 days a week. I work 2 shifts during those 4 days. It's hard to try to look pretty and perfect when you have to go to work at 6:30 a.m. Mon-Thurs. So the only time I can really make myself look pretty is when I go out. I'm not saying that I look bad it just I feel bad and not attractive when I have to wear my "work" blue jeans and my work shirt pretty much everyday except for fridays and the weekend that I do not work.

This guy rocks. ;)

I actually had to laugh today because at my new school, the sorority girls are much more "stereotypical" than at my school of initiation...and today I saw a girl wearing a "I <3 XYZ" shirt with her Tiffany's earrings, necklace, and bracelet, her coach logo shoes, 7 jeans (which aren't even sold around here!), and then a Limited bag (of all things). She also had perfectly straightened bleached blonde hair...she was living the stereotype!

KuThetaChi 09-11-2003 03:16 PM

I don't know about FIB, but thanks for the compliment... I got a soft spot for my girls at GphiB!!:)

GeekyPenguin 09-11-2003 05:13 PM

A FIB is a Fabulous Illinois Belonger.*

*Replace Fabulous with a word rhyming with ducking, and Belonger with a son of unknown lineage.

mullet81 09-11-2003 05:16 PM

Hehe!! You guys don't like those "Illinoisans" very much, huh :)

Most of them are ok. I just use FIB when I'm talking about some stuck up person from Chicago.

Like the summer "lake Geneva" kids. Boo.

She sounds hot. Which sorority was she in? Yes, that matters.

how about I've heard a ton about 7 jeans but can't figure out what's so great about 'em....

how could you tell they were 7s? do they have a patch on the back or something?

Because a girl on my dorm floor had the exact same pair last fall and kept reminding everybody that she was wearing 7s.

HotDamnImAPhiMu 09-11-2003 10:24 PM

I'm wearing four year old American Eagle jeans with a hole in the back pocket.

am I as cool as her?

Cooler. :p

I've seen 7 jeans...the denim is all thin, like the kind they used to sell at Jamesway discount store and fell apart after 3 washings. And the stitching isn't that attractive. So what is the allure?? Do they make your butt glow or something?

Yes, the 1980's designer jeans were kind of silly too, but at least they were nice heavy material and they still looked new after I wore them to death.

I was posting a link for Ohio University WPA this morning. Are the women in that picture the stereotype you're talking about?

Amazing.

Call me a cynic, but I don't think all the drapes match the carpet there. LOL.

You're a cynic.

Just kidding.

What drapes? All I see are blonds (and a couple of token brunettes as mentioned above)

Oh I know what kind of "carpet" and "drapes" she's talking about! and i agree!

But they're a lovely bunch anyway :)

DeltAlum 09-12-2003 05:07 PM

OK. That's a new one on me, but I think I figured it out. Oops.

tunatartare 09-12-2003 05:22 PM
