I don't know how Bethany is doing and I hope we hear soon...in the meantime, we just got a call and our 2 local PNMs are going back to their favorite 2 groups for prefs!

i remember my first week in
we went to so many things
plus the fraternity rush was the week after ours
so we were going to all of their parties
maybe she's so caught up that she just forgot about us

well, I have her on my buddy list for AIM, has she has not been on for like 4 days, so I have not idea where she is.

Well, the list of who went where can't be very long so maybe someone should see if her name is on it...I suspect she dropped out or did not get a bid -- that is usually what an absence this long means, sad to say....:(

A list of those who had withdrawn or were dropped wasn't available on Bid Night. I'm trying to get in touch with my contacts at UWG to see if I can find anything out.

We got a girl from Carnation's hometown. I didn't get to meet her last week and she wasn't on the hall tonight so maybe when I go to the Rock-a-thon on the 25th, I can finally meet her. I think I saw her at Pref but it didn't register who she was...not that I could talk to her anyway, lol.

I don't know what happened to Bethany. I do know that she did not pledge AGD.

I have a pretty reliable source at West GA who has confirmed that Bethany was released by all groups after the first round of recruitment. Unfortunately, going thru recruitment a 2nd time at a campus like West GA is doomed from the beginning.

Bethany, if you are out there and this is not correct, please let us know! And also know that just because there was not a place for you in a sorority at West GA there are many other organizations where you can enjoy life long friends. I wish you the best of luck!

why is it bad to go through Rush twice at West GA? Do they girls remember people or is it because it is so competative?

If a potential member is not selected the first time around for whatever reason (grades, personality, reputation, etc), chances are not much has changed. Of course there are always exceptions.
