OK everyone, hi....here is my rush news from day 2.
6 parties. BTW- Ilove doing this because in addition to serving the needs of all the rush addicts I am also helping myself sort through my feelings about the groups.
ok here goes nothing.

1 This group tonight was so adorable. The had the most unique way of presentng their philanthropy . They did a little skit and I really enoyed it. I met a girl here tonight who I had a lot in common with. Also, I already know the president of this sorority and she is amazing so that helps. I feel like I know a lot about this chapter and I know I would fit in because it is diverse. The philanthropy event this group does is very popular on campus and it was fun to learn more about it. Also, this chapter seems very extremely focused on their sisterhood and less on boys and partying which is really good for me becase that's what I am looking for, sisterhood...above all else. They had a cute little table set up with pictures and awards and such. These girls are amazin and I have a feeling I will pref them, thats not till Tuesday though.
2 I love this group. I got to meet a whole new set of sisters tonight and I am just so incredibly impressed with them. I felt really at home here and I hope they like me as much as I like them. I can't explain the feeling I got here but it was just so pleasant. I could see myself really growing as a person in this sorority and striving for their ideals. Really, they are a very classy group of ladies
3 I still really like group 3 also, tonight I felt I got to see another side of them as they showed a slide show about their philanthropy and expained most of the pictures etc. They made me feel comfortable and we just chilled. I don't think I fit in as wll as some of the others but these girls really are amzing. They do a lot and are very respectable, visible, and fun. I would love to be a part of this sisterhood...any girl wold be lucky to.
4 Tonight I was not as impressed with this group as I had been the night before. The girl who rushed me was just really flippant like she didn't seem to care too much about some stuff that I find important. I felt like she and I didn't really see eye to eye so much but as time went o the conversation did get better. I just wasn't overly thilled here. It didn't seem the ame as last night and I feel like they had already picked some of their favorites and I wasnt oneof them. LOL I still like them though, just not for me. If I have to cut someone, I will definitely cut this group tomorrow.
5 I still really liked this chapter and apparently they liked me because some of the sisters I did not meet yesterday came up and introduced themselves and told me they had heard about me from some other sisters. I really like this group. They are very cute and funny...I cold see myelf being comfortable there as well.
6 This group is still really amazing and i really like them a lot. I really like them but it was a little bit uncomfortable. I think they are so awesome but its like, I just ddn't feel the click as much as some of the other groups. so.......I may not be back there tomorrow. I guess it just depends on if I got cut or not.

Ok now to summarize...
group 1 and 2 are my favorites. I would be more than happy to ref these 2. Skit night is tomorrow so it will be so fun to see how they are. I think that the rush process is set up really well actually. It is interesting to hear from actives (anyone wanna chime in) howit is on the other side as far as when things start getting down to the wire. How do you know when a NM has what it takes or whatever...
as far as cuts.........im lost.....I don't know what I will do if I hav to cut so..........anyones comments are welcome and I am meeting with my rho chi around 1 tomorrow to get my invites.
I had fun tonight but I am so exhausted...LOL

So I have had to play catch-up tonight but I have loved reading all of your thread.

As the others have told you, you are going through this with the BEST ATTITUDE I have ever seen with a PNM.

I wanted to comment about the laptop... I went from a desk top to a laptop and it is really hard now to type on a desk top fast because I am so use to the laptop keyboard. It isn't that the keys have changed but the space between keys has... it is a little mind boggling.

Good luck with the Skit nights and follow your heart not your head. I promise you will be ten times more happy with the end result.

Ya'll are so sweet...without GC I might have never rushed!!! Anyway I know you are dying to hear about last night so here it goes...sorry I didn't post last night but after all those parties...man, I was tired.

1 OK, I am going to tell you flat out, this is the chapter I want to be in. I love them. They have the sweetest girls. This is the chapter my heart tells me is my home, all the way, no doubts, and by far. Tghe skit was adorable. It was set up like MTV pick your sorority. Their was the geeky grades sorority, the rich QT sorrotiy and the ***'s. (The actual sorority) I wish i could tell you more about who they are because I have so much to say about them but I guess I have to wait:( Anyway, these are the girls for me.

ok now for the other 3 (I had to go look up their numbers from the beginning)

3, 5, 6

Three I really felt like I was starting to get closer to. They are really super sweet. The president came up to me and said she wanted to meet me cause she had heard a lot of good things about me. I thought that was the sweetest. They did a Wizard of Oz skit that was unbelievably adorable. One girl started singing during the skit and it put chills on me it was so good. This chapter is so cute and loveable. I think they are my second choice. The only problem is, a lot of the girls who I don't particularly care for going through rush, love this chapter!!! Hmmmmm I don't know what to think about that?

5 These girls are really sweet. I like them a lot. I feel so comfortable here like I fit in really well. The girl I was talking to was like telling me about all the famous alum and stuff liek that. I don't know...this and 3 are tied for second...I don't know who I am going to pref if I get invited back.

6 Tonight the conversation at 6 was awkward and I knew for sure that even though there were some absolutely fantastic ladies here, it is not the house for me. I did meet this one lady who I was talking to about student gov. She actually was telling me about an open position that relates closely to a position I held at my other school (I am a transfer). So that was good, to be able to do some networking....I love being involved and hopefully I will get the SG position. Their skit was really cute, a lot of dancing and stuff.

I like all of the houses a lot. I wish I didn't have to pref two because I know now where my heart is. I don't know what to expect from pref and I hear its emotional and I don't want to be fake with the chapter I choose that isn't my favorite. Also I am having a terrible time choosing and I have to meet my rho chi at 12.

Ok, as I was driving to the meeting with my rho chi, I made up my mind who I wanted to pref. Actually, it turned out really awesome because the two groups I wanted to pref were the two groups I was invited back to.
