WHY DOESN'T ANYONE EVER RUSH AT MY SCHOOL???

Biggest sorority system in the country, you would think ONE girl would be on GC.

I hear what you are saying, my school has a pretty big greek system and there are two other girls from my school on here, but no PNM's. :( I want to read their rush stories, but no such luck. Oh well, there are a lot of other PNM's around here to keep me satisfied. I can't wait for rush....err recruitment to start! :)

Northern Arizona University (NAU) begins sorority recruitment on the 20th of August and finishes up with Bid Day on the sunday the 24th I believe...

The fun starts fo me in 11 days for anyone keeping a countdown. I can't wait to read about Blazercheer's rush. I am so excited for everyone.

yay, one month from tonight I will have gone through partial first round, YAYYYY!

i always tell people, even though my endings weren't happy, rush/recruitment was such a fun time and to do it just to experience it!

I saw a comment on the Gamma Phi website (from 2001 however) about rush ending on September 30th but I'll see if I can find anything else out.

whoa, i cant believe uf's rush is this weekend!

OK, so where is erin34 and does anyone have info on how things are going at Bama??

Don't even get me started on rush dates! On my campus GLO's can't start rush until after a general Inter-Greek Council Rush Fair sponsored by the IGC (At my campus we don't have a separate IFC plus our 3 local sororities aren't on Panhel so the IGC is our main governing body for fraternities and sororities). The IGC gave us their rush date in June and panhel scheduled our rush dates accordingly -- then in late July they changed their date by two weeks and completely screwed up our dates!! So now we only have definite dates for the IGC Rush Event, Pref Night and Bid Day but we still don't have definite dates for all the rush parties!! We have so many problems with Panhel being more organized than the IGC.

when tomorrow comes, it is going to start a domino effect of all the rush thread. darn the luck but i got to work friday afternoon, saturday morning, and sunday afternoon. i cant contain myself at work!

oh I know. I don't wish rush thread to really be paying attention to.

and I work tonight. Friday for like 6 hours Sat for 6 hours and sunday for 10!

Lawrence University doesn't have formal recruitment until January.. its like the 10th-16th

I just wanted to say that rush here at the University of Missouri has started as of yesterday! Over 1000 girls are going through and we have 14 sororities with quota set at 67 I believe.

Yesterday was 16 social day and it was 106 degrees out, the girls were so miserable and hot but we still managed to have a pretty great time.

9 party day, skits, are supposed to be today but Panhel's computers broke down and we were supposed to start at 10 am and we haven't yet! :eek: I don't know exactly what we're going to do about it but it's a big mess right now.

We've worked SO hard on our skit though and our house is decorated to the nines and it's AWESOME!!!

All three of my rush crushes are coming back today as well as all except two of our legacies, which is awesome!
