reservations are made for 8:00!!! anyone have a camera?

I'm getting a disposable camera.

Any other info I need to know needs to be up by tomarrow morning because I'm taking off around noon for Chicago....

So my Phil. professor is a dick and has decided he is going to lecture some more before our final...we are allegedly starting it at 6:15, but I'll believe that when I see it. :p

I am going to try really hard to make it, but if I'm in that final until 8, I'm not driving to Schaumburg and back afterwards. If I'm not there by like 9:00, it's because I'm not coming...

I HATE SCHOOL.

I haven't responded to this thread in a while because I've been crazy-busy getting ready for SAI convention, and then I was at convention, but now I'm back! I'll definitely be there at 8pm on Wednesday - am I included in the reservations?

Yup, everyone is included who said they might/could come. No big changes. I think I will be in letters, but they are on a pullover (blue and green). See you all soon!

Oh my gosh, I don't read GreekChat for a few days, and almost miss this thread!!! I go to school in Missouri, but I'm from Arlington Heights, and want to stop by on Wednesday! Actually, my boyfriend and I were planning on going to Gameworks around that time anyways, (which is in the same shopping center), so we'll come by Maggiano's at 8!

Valkyrie--what H.S. did you go to? I went to BG and graduated in '99.

(edited to add) I don't think that we'll be eating (we're going on a mini date and eating at Gameworks), but count us in for drinks, if the reservations will allow for that!

In case any of you haven't heard, apparently there's really bad flooding and horrible traffic in Schaumburg, so be careful and leave early!!!!

Sorry I didn't make it guys... I was eating at Benihana's instead, doing some quality family time... they're sad because I'm leaving Friday afternoon and I was only home a week. But if you guys want to do something in mid-December/early January, I'm so there!

After meeting you all last night, I decided that I had to let you in on a little story. I was a bit skeptical about the whole idea beforehand. I had first decided to forego a night out with friends I haven't seen in a couple of years for a dinner date with my gf, thinking that we could spend some time alone together after spending the summer apart. When she brought up this idea of spending the evening with a bunch of stangers instead, I was more than a little disappointed. Somehow, the prospect of skipping our first night out together in some time for a dinner date with people I'd never even heard of didn't seem like the best trade-off, but she seemed really excited about it, so I agreed. As soon as people started showig up, however, I realized that it was definitely worth it--I hope the drives home weren't too long! My gf's been browsing through these forums for quite a while, and now I've finally realized why she spends so much time reading it. Thanks for a great evening, and best of luck to you all!!

Hey everyone! Glad you got home ok AlphaFrog! It was great meeting all of you, and thanks again to Alphachiohmy for planning it! We should definitely get together again, maybe over winter break? (even if someone won't be in Chicago, but in St. Louis...you should still come up for it!)

I am so jealous that I didn't get to go last night . . . but I'm glad you guys have fun. And I am counting on Blaine and Kath to come kidnap me some night and take me to Milwaukee. :p

Yay! We can have a mini party in my tiny apartment! (There Blaine, are you happy now?)

If we hold it on a weekend, I could get up there. Chicago has a ton of fun stuff to do in the spring and summer -- lots of neighborhood festivals, concerts, etc.

A weekend would work for me...that way, it will be easier for those who want to travel.

I'll be in Chicago the last week of April for work. :)

I'll be in Chicago next weekend for AOII work.
