chicagoagd ~ all advice is appreciated and thanks for yours! the general consensus that i've been receiving seems like we are both pretty much falling for each other... hopefully it lasts! don't know if i'll get to talk to him tonight. i have my trainer and then i have a feeling i'm probably going to pass out right after that. so therefore, i won't be calling, but if he calls me, i won't not talk to him. let's just hope that i don't fall asleep on the phone! but for the past few days, every time he leaves or i get off the phone with him or whatever, i just look forward to when i get to talk to or see him next.

Okay, this might make me look bad, but I went out to dinner and a movie with another guy last night...Michael.

Sisters, Art [boy from last week] is cool, and he seems like a nice guy to just hang out with. FYI, I did have lunch w/ him at the beach.

But Michael [boy from last night], seems more ME. He has his degree from UCLA and he has direction in life. We met through a mutual friend at [WHERE ELSE?] the MaiTai Bar. And everyone knows...Sandy needs just one man and she needs to settle down!!!

Dinner and a movie was very last minute and I was very nervous because I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy it. I thought he was really cute the first time I met him, but believe me, I was having stomach cramps...that's how nervous I was. We went to a nice dinner, watched Bad Boys 2, and he took me home. This morning we went surfing at Diamond Head.

If anyone wants to see how he looks like, he's "surfinstud7" on LiveJournal. He's a hottie mchottie.

If I had to choose someone now, I'd definitely choose Michael.

i'm so happy for you girls!! I want a man too! I was talking to a sister online this mornign and for some unknown reason i got an urge to go play with some children....it is as weird as my sister having some lady offer to set her up with a priest....

Last night, the boy [Mike] went out with his co-workers and I went out with my girls. We were supposed to meet up after we had our fun, but somebody got a little too drunk. Him, not me.

so i thought i would bump this thread since i need some self-encouragement! ;) i'm seeing mike for the first time tonight in three weeks. both of us went away, me two different times, him once, so between that and getting settled once our trips were done, tonights the first night we can get together. i'm super excited about him. i feel like such a loser, b/c i've missed him even though we have spoken on the phone a few times. and unfortunately, still not exactly sure wtf is going on with us...

can I just add that mine is a Mike too!

As moderator of this forum, I officially declare this thread the "Work it, AGDs!" forum...feel free to post your rant and raves of prospects/flavors of the week or month as long as it's in good taste.

Timmy's too into his football, I found out Paul's too into himself, so I let Steve take me to dinner on Saturday. Today we went shopping at the NEX/Commissary and we spent three hours in that place. That's crazy.

Steve's fresh out of West Point...and a friend of one of the guys I went on a few dates with last summer. He's on a grad school fellowship at UH, so he gets paid by the Army to go to school while they're paying for him to go to school. Good stuff, eh?

And he's letting me decorate his apartment this week.

Even if things don't work out, at least I know he's a cool guy to stay friends with.

i think that things are done with me and the boy... :(

Steve might know my cousin Christopher. He graduated from West Point last may also.

I have been interested in this guy Rob for a while. If we meet up there seems to be an interest. And then afterward, he never calls... And I know he has my email address and phone number, so I can't blame it on that. He was in the group that I went to New Orleans with last week. And once again, he didn't call!!!

Steve is good friends with Kent, the other WP dude I went on a few dates with last summer. Kristin, is your cousin from the Dallas area too? Kent's from Dallas and I know his parents were heavily involved in the Parents Club while he was a cadet.

Can't wait for lunch today...I'd love to have lunch with him but he's bringing my food to my office while he goes off to class. :D

please do... although i could be completely jumping to conclusions about it being over. just ever since both of us kept going away, we haven't seen each other and don't talk on the phone as much anymore. we had plans to go out last thursday but he cancelled because he said he had a rough day at work and just wanted to go home and crash. i invited him out with me and my friends for friday night but he said he wasn't sure, him and his friends talked about going out and stuff, but that most of the time they never did. he called on friday and we talked for awhile, but he was going out with his friends. i called and left a voicemail for him yesterday afternoon to see if he wanted to do something, but i never heard back. i don't know, maybe he's just been real busy... or maybe he thought things were moving too fast and it scared him... or maybe it's over. i just think i'm going to look at it as being over and not call him and see what he does. it's weird going from seeing him like three times a week to not seeing him at all for the past few weeks. it just sucks though b/c i fell for him hard... even though i was trying hard not too...


and unfortunately, part of my problem is that i've been having a wicked hard time meeting people in this city. i know very few people so i don't go out all that much. maybe it would be easier if i knew a ton of people and was always busy... but that ain't the case. when i went out friday with this girl i know and a ton of her friends, i had so much fun. i think i need more nights like that to help me with this whole situation, whatever it is...

Chris is from Oklahoma City. I know he has some friends in Dallas, but he didn't get down to see them before his leave was up.
We went up to the graduation in May. It was great. I just wish I was a little younger ;) . Those boys sure were cute!

Oh honey, those girls nights are the best. You get enough of those and before you know it, your life is back to normal and you realize that life was good even before you met him. You'll feel better, I promise!

so the boy called tonight. was kinda surprised to hear from him but we talked for like a half hour or so. didn't make plans or anything though. i've decided that i'm going to act like i did right when i first met him and let him call me and suggest stuff. b/c i think i'll get too emotionally worked up if i keep calling him and stuff. yeah, make him work for it! hehe...

got an email today from one of the girls that work at my company's parent company. she's trying to put together a gno for friday night. that should be fun! maybe i'll get to hit on cute boys then. and the girls i was out with friday night are having a gno a week from saturday. yeah for having friends and going out!! maybe the boy will get jealous! hehe..
