Just wanted to ditto that about the houses.....they're even more impressive in person!! (My mom lives in OKC, and we've driven all through the greek houses several times). Mom always asks about what the houses are like to live in, but I don't know because my school didn't have houses :( . Think anyone could give us a tour next time we're in town? :D

Hello Everyone! I am leaving for school tomorrow! Everything is packed and in the car! The whole idea of leaving home is starting to sink in, fast! I'm soo excited despite all the nerves. Friday is the beginning of rush and I know I won't be able to sleep the night before! Wish me luck and please keep me in your prayers!

good luck! try not to be nervous about moving away... i totally understand though- I've lived away from home for 2 years, and am so excited to be moving into the house this year, but i still get the lil butterflies when having to leave home, the friends, and the family... only lasts about a few hours though :) Enjoy your experience and we can't wait to hear about it!

Well, I haven't read anything posted by our PNM :D these past few days about her rush (I'm guessing she either doesn't have her computer hooked up yet or is waiting til after rush to post), but I'm sure you all are still interested in hearing about how things are going here at OU. Tomorrow is 4-party day and the PNM's can attend up to 4 parties. They'll spend around an hour in each house, and they'll get to meet with the girls some, then take a house tour, and then get to watch a skit. I'm so excited about tomorrow cause I love our skit! Recruitment here at the Zeta house seems to be going well. We had huge turnouts for the day 2 parties, the girls were all pretty nice, and I've heard through the grapevine that the majority of the girls enjoyed our skit. So, hopefully we will be getting lots of wonderful ladies back tomorrow :D. But I'm having a great week, and recruitment here is going well.

My ex husbands cousins are KAT and ZTA alums there. the whole family all went to OU

I don't think that's true...we just had AOPi come on and if anyone else is going to come on, it'll be in a few years I'm sure.

What was quota and who made it?

Quota was 76...not sure who all made it and who didn't. Nationals only wanted us to take 50 this year since we came back as a smaller house (a ton of our girls from last year unexpectedly transferred to other schools). But we got our 50 new girls, and all of them are spectacular! Not only are they all cute, but they're also all really intelligent and fun to be around. Zeta's already a great chapter here, but with these new girls we're gonna kick some serious boooh-tay!

Just got news my old Delta Gamma chapter at OU made over quota with 82 new pledges. Woo hoo!

What about the other chapters at Oklahoma? :) I'm dying to know!!!!!!

The OK Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi pledged 79 new members!

BTW, I was told that there was not a quota this year? This made absolutely NO sense to me. Instead of dividing the number of girls going to pref by the sororities... They based each chapter's quota on the number of girls in the house? and an average of past pledge classes????? Something about not allowing more than Total? This sounds very odd to me... but I was told this by an OK Alpha member.

Anyone?????????????????????????
