I wasn't trying to spark up an argument about race, this simply was a subject that was on my mind and I decided to ask other people's opinion's. Like I said, I'm not trying to make any definite accusations nor do I really care that much about American Idol, I'm not losing sleep over it, lol. I just wanted to know what other people thought.

I agree with Pika2001 and enlightment06, I'm not losing any sleep on this as well. To me , both of them came out as winners. period.

Bamboozled, I'm not trying to interrupt the discussion, It's just that I have read/ heard how Clay should have won instead of Reuben. If you have read the article in Rolling Stone, Clay Has stated that it's just a T.V. Show. He's Happy that both Reuben and Him are both winners. and I simply agree. It doesn't bother me if someone doesn't agree with my opinion. that's cool. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions/comments. But that's doesn't mean you have to get upset about it. I respect everyone who voice their opinions, Good or Bad.

I think the reason some people had a problem with it was that you didn't specify whether the "Who cares?" referred to Clay vs. Ruben, or the fact that racial issues could be at stake. Obviously it does matter to some people that the whole thing could be indicative of a larger racial issue, and it's kind of invalidating when you have a real issue with something and other people just brush it off by saying, "Who cares?"

I'm not trying to be a b*tch, just trying to sort things out. I know what you're saying -- I think the whole Ruben vs. Clay thing is played out by now too.

yeah...now he is after how long? anyway, after this year, i cannot stand 'american idol'. i dont care about the race part. but if ruben won, why is clay being treated as the 'american idol'? i dont think clay should be in the picture. he should be getting about as much publicity as justin. but i think that part of the problem is on their part. ruben and clay have been sticking together. did i miss something on that final episode? did ryan say the new american idol is ruben and clay? this is not american idols. i think the runner up should be given some prize money and a demo single. then he should be left on his own. without 'american idol' or the first place winner following them around. as of now, i dont think ruben has been doing this first place winner right. clay has been hogging the spotlight. whether its race (and i dont think it is) i think it is ridiculous.:rolleyes:
