I have three interviews this week, one by telephone? I need prayer? I need one or two of these interviews to lead to a job WITH Benefits? Some people....I tell ya? this weekend was our chapter's anniversary? everything went well? Saturday's event was very nice? on Sunday, we went to church? after receiving the words of the priest and hearing great music from the choir? we congregate outside to take pictures? we completed that task? when we were leaving a member of a certain organization makes a derogatory comment regarding "those AKAs"? 1. we had JUST gotten out of church? -not a step show? not in front of the union? (still is no excuse) 2. we were still on the church grounds? 3. did you NOT learn ANYTHING from the sermon delivered? 4. WTF? 5. Aren't you TOO OLD to be caught up in BS? :confused: my sorors and I passed right by her? we looked at her like we were crazier than foxes? we shook our heads? we mentioned that we had just gotten out of church? I'm sure she felt like a sucker around her friends or family? on second thought, she probably didn't? the devil (male or female) can be found all over? HC I live a healthier lifestyle than they do, red meat and all? HC I really hate when I am in the company of those who don't eat red meat and they turn their faces up at my Burger King? I'm here.. couldn't get into my email. but wanted everyone to know i was safe. i am loving it so far... met with a nonprofit called Save the Children today in Addis Ababa (capitol). about to leave the sheraton (most expensive and elaborate hotel in all of africa, owned by a sheik. general tommy franks is staying here. hmph. we came for lunch, we are NOT staying here!!) and head further south (thru the great rift valley!!) to another non profit called Project Mercy. very excited. this expensive ass hotel is surrounded by shacks yall, no lie. it's a trip. wait til yall see the pictures. i've seen one traffic light the entire time i've been here (not even 24 hrs, lol). they drive crazy as hell, but i love it!! i have to go, i'll write more later!
