Lets see, others include:

I love the show JAG
I watch travel channel way too much
I really don't get the story behind the Matrix - but the music and special effects are awesome
I drive a 1997 4-door saturn (atleast it has a moonroof and 12-disc cd changer though)

I loved that room! The little silver chairs he used are awesome - I have one and call it my Swedish Chair.

I also don't get the Matrix.

I drive a 1999 Mazda Protege and would probbly turn down a nicer car because I love mine so much.

I enjoy itching mosquito bites until they make scabs. (Probably not promoting the highest type of womanhood...)

I like drinking juice out of the container. My sisters in the house were appalled by this, because they'd find me in this cute J.Crew outfit with a huge gallon of V8 Blend chugging away.

It was pretty bad but I watched it all the time. Well, Nickelodeon has another station called "the N" and they have a Degrassi show! And some of the old cast members are back as adults at the school. But it's still basically about 13 year olds and their lives. I watched it last night. And I watch it anytime it's on and no on is around..... :D :o

The N and the TV channel that others were talking about earlier in this thread called Noggin are the same thing. And I ADORE it. It's probably one of the channels I watch most on television. Just Deal is my fave :)

Other things:

I continue to drink regular Coke because I don't like Diet Coke and I don't care that it will save me 190 calories per can because I just want my freaking CocaCola Classic.

Most of the time when I don't go to class, I just sit around doing nothing. I don't even do anything productive or fun.

I live like a pig for most of the week and I only clean my apartment when it gets to be really bad or when someone is coming over. I try to tell myself that I'm not messy but that's really a big fat lie.

I still go down the Barbie aisle almost every time I go to WalMart.

I love VH1's "I Love the 80's" No matter how many times I've seen an episode, i still stop and watch it. Now that's great television.

AchtungBaby80 05-31-2003 01:26 PM

I hate to admit...that I don't really like rollercoasters! I'm not scared of going fast, I'm just scared of the little train flying off the track or my harness coming loose or something else bad. Yesterday, several of my friends and I went to King's Island, and I was saying Hail Marys left, right, and center as they dragged me on almost every coaster in the park. Now, granted, I love The Beast and I really like Son of Beast (they don't really scare me--which makes no sense), but I about passed out after Face Off. Of course, I can't admit this to most people because everyone else I know thinks zooming around in a little train on a skinny little track and seeing their lives flash before their eyes is FUN. Geez.

chitownxo 05-31-2003 02:00 PM

I hate to admit...

I know all the words to most of Glen Cambell's songs, and "Rinestone Cowboy" was the first song I ever learned all the words to.

I love "Schoolhouse Rock". I've made all my friends sit through the DVD with me, and they must sing along, or I pout.

I have a collection of romance novels that would put a Barnes and Nobel to shame. Last time I counted, they numbered 345. That was 2 years ago.

I collect Cherished Teddies and Mary Moos. I started to collect them so my brothers would know what to get me for Christmas. When they still couldn't figure that out, I began buying them myself. I've got 32 of them.

tinydancer 05-31-2003 04:29 PM

I just love Teletubbies - my friends know I am insane. Have lots of Tubbies at work and around the house. Even my school ID lanyard is Teletubbies.

I like to watch the cooking shows, which is really bizarre because I do NOT cook.

moe.ron 05-31-2003 05:05 PM

For halloween, I became Britney Spears with Goutie. I had the whole school girl outfit with the hair from that one video(I had long hair back then). I must say, I look damn sexy. All pictures have been found and exterminated with extreme prejudice.

Rudey 05-31-2003 05:18 PM

I hate to admit that I get bored and buy weird shit on Ebay. Seriously I have bizarre items made of ivory now just because I get bored.

FAB*SpiceySpice 05-31-2003 06:16 PM

Well let's see here....I hate to admit that...

*I actually own every single NSYNC and Backstreet Boys CD and DVD that's ever been made. And yes, I still do watch them. :D
*I love picking off my nailpolish, I will paint my nails in the morning just so I can pick it off in class. I think I paint my nails on average twice a day, EVERYDAY
*I am obsessed with organization, I buy everything known to man to help organize my life, I love to be organized!
*I also love doing laundry, I get some weird happiness from doing laundry, so fun!
*I actually enjoy drinking Natty Light
*I have had 10 different roommates since I've been in college....and all but one of them has ended up hating me and moving out (I swear I'm really not a bad person!!!!!!!)
*Second semester of my freshman year I made out with 4 guys in the same fraternity, on different nights of course (ACK! This is the hardest to admit, I swear I am not a skank, please don't hate me! :( )
*I could eat ice cream everyday for every meal and never get sick of it!!!! :D

ajuhdg 05-31-2003 07:06 PM

I'm reluctant to admit...

*I have an extensive PEZ collection

*I always rent scary movies, but watch them with my eyes closed/face covered.

*I still listen to my 'Color Me Bad' tape

*I LOVE the 'Thong Song'

*I tape Survivor, so I can fast forward through the commercials

*It's hard for me to buy anything if it's not on sale!

I've heard several mention talking to fast, that you sound like an idiot. That is SO me. It's worse when I'm eating something cold, I swear my mouth shrinks and makes it like 50 times worse!

aj

Peaches-n-Cream 06-01-2003 12:48 AM

I will admit nothing. NOTHING I say! *cue evil laughter* MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

UKDaisy 06-01-2003 04:15 AM

.....

I don't hate to admit this...but my friends hate for me too! So i dedicate this to them! But I love Britney Spears! She tells it like it is, she wears what she wants and she doesn't care what you think. Hell, she even takes it as a joke half of the time. Plus the southern accent! Ahh....and it makes me so mad when people randomly don't like her! "oh...she's a slut", whatever...so are half of the stars in Hollywood but you like them. GRRR!!! Very defensive about my Brit.

Back to reality.....I love PEZ! As someone else earlier stated...I have to have my collection and add to it quite often. :p

KerriMarie 06-01-2003 12:50 PM

I too am an avid Lizzie McGuire fan. I watch it every day. I also watch way too much Boy Meets World - I love that show!

Let's see - I watch Food 911 like it's going out of style. Tyler is my favorite food celeb EVER. Has anyone else noticed he has amazing chemistry with whatever woman he's cooking with? I swear they have sex during commercial breaks.

I pick scabs. Gross.

DeltaSigStan 06-01-2003 02:24 PM

I watch All My Children. Here's the explaination: I used to work at an elementary school. My bosses were both in the navy and they said everyone used to watch it on the ship during WestPac. So, I started watching it with them, and I got hooked cause the girls are just SO HOT. BTW, Bianca (Eden Riegel) is probably one of the most beautiful women on TV (I'm talking all around, not just looks). In case you're wondering, both my bosses were big burly guys who are happily married with kids, so don't make the navy and AMC correlation, got it?

I'm so into soccer that I watched every World Cup game in both 98 and I stayed up until midnight and 4 AM to watch 2002. I watched almost every game of the Women's World Cup and will probably watch this Summer's as well. I watch the UEFA Champions League on ESPN (Juventus got Screwed Dammit! Milan sucks!!!! We still have the Scudetto!!!!), and try to catch every Manchester United game or any EPL gam for that matter. Hell, during the fall/winter when I referee soccer, when my games are done I stay to watch the kids play...........I LOVE THE BEAUTIFUL GAME!!!!

The most ironic thing about that is that I'm a fat Filipino guy, and looking at me, you would never think I'm such an Afficionado.

I still watch DCI shows every now and then, even though I've never marched, but have like 20 videos from 1989-2001.

One time I caught a foul ball at a Padre/Dodger game and gave it to the little kid in the row in front of me (You should have seen the smile on his face). Ironically, I caught another ball last month.

I too, am obsessed with Nigella but not in that way, although she is very pretty.I watch her every week and I own 3 of her cook books.
I hate to admit,I also enjoy hair bands and am a faithful listener to the House of Hair with Dee Snider.
I hate to admit think that Daria is about as close to my high school as any television show has ever come.I think I have seen evry episode.
I think that the there should be a 24 hour Simpson channel.

YEAH! I'm not alone! I'm proud of my PEZ collection, but whenever I tell people they look at me like I've got six heads! My husband doesn't understand either! :D

Peaches-n-Cream 06-03-2003 04:19 PM

I haven't shaved my legs in a week. My legs are going to start to stict together like velcro. lol!

LXAAlum 06-03-2003 05:00 PM

OH - TRADING SPACES - love the show - we've done many mini-projects in our home inspired by some of their episodes!

That, and, being a kid at heart - model trains. Of course, I simply tell everyone that I'm "helping" my son with his layout (though I have one of my own, too)....;)

juniorgrrl 06-04-2003 12:02 AM

I bought another Hello Kitty shirt tonight - $8 at TJ Maxx

lifesaver 06-04-2003 01:43 AM

I hate to admit that one of my favorite films is...

Sabrina. (the Julia Ormond one)

Yep. There it is. I am a guy and am not supposed to like it but its comfortable. Meaning: The christmas break of 1997-1998 I stayed on campus and we only had 14 channels. 2-13 and HBO. I was board off my ass and you know how HBO will put a flick in heavy ass rotation? Well, I think I watched it 20 times that break. Now when it comes on (HBO now has 15 channles, lol) It reminds me of that time. I dunno. Its funny I guess.

BTW for guys on stand up coasters:

Make sure you lift and reposition the sack before the ride starts.
(For the ladies or anyone not in the know, the thing has the harness that comes down from the top, and another bicycle seat thing that wratchets up... and keeps wratcheting up. Trust me, you dont wanna have the kids sandwiched between your body and that plastic seat and 3G's of pressure on 'em. I walked like John Wayne for a week.

(Sorry gals - ya'll have your things, we have do deal with our things too.)

lifesaver 06-04-2003 02:08 AM

When the Weather Service says "The Severe Thunderstorm Watch Area Is Along And 80 Statute Miles East And West Of A Line From 25 Miles North Of College Station Texas To 65 Miles South Southeast Of San Antonio Texas." I have to close my eyes and see if I can imagine what it looks like, then look at the actual watch box and see how close I was.

I am a tool.

BTW I was almost exactly right on the above watch.

AlphaGamDiva 06-04-2003 02:09 AM

i love the fact my ex called me the other morning.........he calls me randomly and not very often, but the last few times, it's been very very nice to hear "i f*cked up"...."you were the best g/f i ever had"....."i should have never treated you the way i did"......"i'm still in love with you"......."no one compares to you"....."you are too good for me"......DUH!

BAH....i love it, but i hate it b/c i wanted to hear that forever ago, and now all it does is justify what i always thought, but does me no substantial good.

boys....

phikappapsiman 06-04-2003 02:42 AM

I hate to admit...

That I like sappy movies-BUT they have to be about guy type things. My favorites are "Rudy", "Dead Poets Society", "Remember The Titans", "The Emperor's Club" and so on. The two absolute best for me are two movies from the 1970's- "Summer of '42" (God I had SUCH a crush on Jennifer O'Neill!) and the best movie EVER... "Brian's Song" with James Caan and Billy Dee Williams. We would always watch that when I played football in high school before the season started (my high school was newly integrated, so the coach must have felt that it would be good for black/white relations). :)

AOX81 06-04-2003 07:02 PM

All of my DVDs are in Cleveland and our cable is out so went out to buy a movie and came home with Bring It On...what was I thinking?

*BUMP* This was a fun thread...It needs revived...time for more dirtly little secrets you hate to admit.....

Sister Havana 05-18-2004 06:37 PM

I still sleep with an Oscar the Grouch puppet I've had since I was born, practically.

I watch way too much reality tv.

I love to read blind items in the tabloids and try to figure out who they are about.

PlymouthDZ 05-18-2004 08:04 PM

I hate to admit:

*I still know, and will sing along to all New Kids on the Block songs

*I still sleep with a stuffed Dino doll (my boyfriend gave it to me :p )

*I absolutely love Nickelodean

*I am 21 years old and still TERRORFIED of the dark.

:)

Xylochick216 05-18-2004 08:29 PM

*I am still a huge NKOTB fan and spent my Spring Break going to a Jordan Knight concert and meeting him

*I'm obsessed with Nick at Nite

*I am afraid of growing up and don't want to graduate on Saturday :(

lonestaradpi 05-18-2004 08:45 PM

I HATE to admit...

I have the most recent Britney, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson CDs.

I really want to get tickets to Britney's concert.

I love Newlyweds.

I haven't folded laundry in about 6 weeks.

I went to the Dixie Chicks concert and bought their live in concert CD. This is bad b/c 1. I'm from Texas and 2. I'm a republican and I love Pres. Bush.

I LOVE Survivor!!

I love Trading Spaces and really love TS marathons!!

I'm so embarassed. I need to take a shower to wash away my shame!!!

yes i definately do this
but i hate to admit:
that i LOVED paradise hotel.... (i was freaking out at the end- they replayed it in london)

i love cartoons too- the fairly oddparents are my fave (but simpsons is the best out of them all!!!)

i love to drink with straws- esp out of a can- there are straws allover the place- and i steal the wrapped ones from fast food places so i have extras all the time

i'm way addicted to documentaries (history and nature) and the discovery channel oh btw- the teutles are nice guys- i grew up with paul sr. daughter, cristin- they live near my town... but they have such an ego ever sicne the show started- and omg- i can't watch the show b/c they say the same things OVER AND OVER again- kill yourself! lol
~monster garage is a personal fave of mine too
~that i love the golden girls... i still read nancy drews (i'm 8 away from having the entire original collection!)

I eat taco bell like its my job.... (7 layer burrito and a beef supreme gordita... ohhh yeaaa)
i love british tv...
i have super long hair- and i hardly ever wear it down...
i'm a gc and AIM/internet FREAK

but i think the biggest thing- is i have a stuffed dog and a large comforter with farm animals all over it that i've had since i was 3 that i will never ever get rid of- (and i have a hard time sleeping without them):p

GMUBunny 05-18-2004 10:18 PM

-I hate to admit that....
-I sleep with a 4-ft. tall stuffed bear that I won in a coloring contest at Sears when I was 3. If the bed is too small with Mr. Bunny, me, and the bear in it, Mr. Bunny better move!
-When I look at a clock, the numbers have to add up to something even. If they don't, I can't look away until they do.
-I count stairs, and if I lose count, I have to go back down to the bottom and start all over again. BTW- the Exorcist Stairs suck!!!! Anyone in the DC area knows what I'm talking about...
-I love pink, but I hated it with a passion until about 3 years ago.
-I love the History Channel and TLC. I can't bear to miss an epidose of Medical Detectives or FBI files.
-I absolutely LOVE ranch dressing on my macaroni and cheese.
-I spend my Sundays watching Lifetime movies. Not just on rainy Sundays- every Sunday.
-I own Winnie the Pooh and Hello Kitty underwear and I love them (who could resist a thong that says "hello kitty" on it? I mean, come on!)
-I collect Precious Moments figurines. Annie- don't come to my place :p
-I'm addicted to 7th Heaven
-I cry over everything and I cannot, will not, absolutely refuse to go in anything with "haunted" or "fun house" in the name. I will start having convulsions and crying and making an idiot out of myself every time I attempt to go in a haunted house. I also can't do those sensory thrill ride things like the Alien Encounter at Disney World. I almost peed my pants in there.

Okay, that's all I can think of now. Sure I'll think of the really embarrassing things that I'm just mentally blocking out right now soon enough.

twhrider13 05-18-2004 10:26 PM

I hate to admit:

~I actually like Christina Aguilera

~I'm a Hello Kitty freak

~If I'm eating anything, I have to make my total bites equal some multiple of 4

I'm sure I can think of more later!

Glitter650 05-18-2004 10:37 PM

I admit

I still like the Backstreet Boys
I enjoy Lizzie Mcguire
I will watch food channel for HOURS

I think that's all I can think of for now... I'm sure there's more

sageofages 05-18-2004 11:08 PM

I hate to admit...but at 44 years of age...

I can not sleep with the closet door open. Not only that the closet light has to be OFF and the closet door closed. If I get into bed and all snugged in, I make my husband get up and make sure the closet door is closed with the light off :)!

ISUKappa 05-18-2004 11:48 PM

* I love PBS. Antiques Roadshow, Are You Being Served, Victory Garden, Cooking with Jula Child, I love them all.

* I slept with my closet light on until I was 17. If my dad took the bulb out, I would get up and put in a new one.

* I slept with a pink stuffed cow that I got when I was 7 until I got married (and sometimes I still sleep with her when hubby's gone).
