hee hee hadda add my great and wonderful grands!
Maternal: Grandpa and Grandma Great Grandmother-Grandma Jenny ( i usually just said Grandma's Mom) She passed in about 2003/4. Paternal: Mama and her husband but he IS my REAL Grandfather (i never understood why we had different last names for the longest time...) Papa (He passed just this Memorial Day, he was healthy and just went to bed and that was it. I'm still upset.) My dad's biological father-I don't know that man! (LOL) I heard me and my daddy look just like him though. Great Grandmother-Great Grandma Clara Bell (she died when I was 5 and I STILL cry sometimes, I have a few memories of her but they are SO precious!) |

They both called my grandmother "Ma." But, my Dad calls my grandfather "Pappy" and my aunt calls him "Dadeo." I think it's adorable! I call my own father "Papa." Country Side: Maternal Grandmother: Granny Paternal Grandfather: Grandpa Greats Father's Mother's Mother (RIP): Grandmother Hart Father's Father's Mother (RIP): Grandmomee or just Momee (pronounced: mah MEE) Mother's Mother's Mother (RIP): Grandmother Kirk Mother's Father's Mother: Grandmother Butler* *Bless her heart! She's 104 years old!! OHHHHHH! The heritage we seem to identify most with is my father's mother's family. We refer to my great-great-great-grandfather by his first name! LOL! And, that name is "Atharates." |

Maternal Grandfather – Daddy Paternal Grandmother - Grandmere Paternal Grandfather – Grandpere My son, and I assume my daughter will too, calls his grandparents: Maternal Grandmother – Died just before my son was born but he talks to her picture and he calls her Granny. Maternal Grandfather – Grandpa Maternal Step-Grandmother - Grandma Paternal Grandmother - Mimi Paternal Grandfather – Papa I have some older friends with a 2-year-old granddaughter. She calls them Honey and Bear. Another set of friends are called CoCo and Boompa. |
