James Bond: "Oh, it's lost its chill"
Jill Masterson:"Oh, why you...." James Bond: "Don't worry, there is another one in the fridge." Jill Masterson: "Who needs it?" James Bond (walking towards kitchen): "My girl, there are some things that just aren't done, such as drinking Dom Perignon '53 above a temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. That's as bad as listening to the Beatles without earmuffs!" James Bond (opens fridge): "Now where is that passion juice..." (Oddjob (off camera) strikes a blow to Bond's neck.) -- from Goldfinger :D |

Uf_Pike has a knack for starting long threads from an off the cuff comment lol. Glad you had a good time guy. And I hope your father has a sense of humour.
Regardless of whether Daddy can pay, he might not be amused. |
Cream, if you want we can round up like 30 people and each pitch in $10. Then we can all get a sip and you can taste Cristal. :p

Do some searches from Greek Chat past and you'll see why. |

It's funny to see the same 4 or 5 people who have never liked me post up to 4 different pages on how they don't believe I had a freak spending moment. Either way I could care less on whether or not you believe me. It seems like some of you need to go out an make some friends in real life and stop sitting in front of a computer screen for the majority of your time, another words...get a life.

Yea, my dad is a little pissed about it. My younger brother however did much more damage than I and in the process took some of the heat off of me...lol |

I still don't see what about UF_Pike pushes peoples buttons so much.
|
his extreme level of confidence...sometimes mistaken for arrogance. he is just one of your typical guys. i have grown to like that about him.
|
I've conservatively dropped six or seven hundred dollars in a given college night of murder, mayhem, and decadence.
But it was my money, cash, and I was MUCH less than fricking happy the next day. And it certainly isn't a habit. Quote:

Okay... y'all, I am again going to come to UF_Pike's defense. Cristal can definitely cost $400. Anyone who has ever worked in the restaurant business knows that beverages are where they make all their money... a bottle of cheap-ass wine that costs $6 at the liquor store can easily be $25-30 at a restaurant (ever hear of L'Ambrusco... case in point).
Anyway, glad you had a good spring break... where did you go? Send me an e-mail and recount all the fun stories... I enjoy them and won't mock! |

If you guys want to talk about spring break - yahoo, go ahead. But refrain from insulting other posters b/c your post will be DELETED

I had champagne yesterday, but it wasn't Cristal. It was good though. :)
|
This is the silliest thread I have read so far this year. It's like the SNL version of the McLaughlin Group, only with alcohol.
