Well, my computer doesn't lock up, but neither does the site actually work for me either.

I think ariesrising's *awesome* site has exceeded its bandwidth. (Probably all of the GCers going over to view it!) Being a FREE site, they limit how much bandwidth you can use per day/week/month/etc. Give it a few days & you should be able to view it.

And I really like the Alpha Phi pledge pin.. it's so cute! :)

Phi Mu Pledge Pin

Third picture Down under symbols

Sorry I couldnt figure out how to get the picture on here. This is the Phi Mu pledge pin that the phis wear after their pledging. It's a mini version of our badge really.

This is the Kappa Sigma pledge pin:

There are the letters K and S in the middle of a Caduceus, on a black triangular face.

The Caduceus is the symbol of Hermes, greek messenger of the Gods.

Regarding Colony pins

Alpha Delta Pi does not have a separate pin for founding chapter members or colonies. The entire chapter of the colony wears the Alpha Pin until initation and then gets the Badge. However, our membership cards state "Charter Member" and there is a dangle we can purchase (mine is on it's way).

ariesrising - great site. Thanks for posting the link.

Tom Earp - Let me know if you get something together in KC this summer. I have a few more Sisters joining GC (we serve on Corp Board together). I know they would be up for a KC gathering!

Here's the pledge pin for Gamma Phi Beta. There was a pic of it up on the website that someone posted (sorry - can't remember who!) but that one was black and white. This one was actually mine - I took the picture with my webcam since I knew I'd have to return it and I wanted a reminder lol. The ribbons are our colors, and are only worn for a week after pinning. The pin is worn so that the crescent is open, the ends facing up over the shoulder.

simple white enamel and gold stars that hold so much mystery...amazing to think of the power that $4 worth (probably less!) of material holds.

If i'm still around, I'd see what I can do. I will probably be heading up to Omaha (home) over summer, and hopefully will be working full time...if I'm able to, I'd love for a gathering though.

Interfraternally,
Terry Salmi
