We started tailgating pretty early as well, lol. What the hell else is there to do besides drink? :)

That's awesome...I was up in the upper level, so we got the sun all day. Unfortunately there wasn't any tailgating...my roommate and I went, and her dad - who has season tickets - called and asked if we wanted to go out and buy everything to tailgate for him and 2 other guys at 11:00 that morning. Ass. Buy your own damn food.

Sorry. I digress. :p

Anyway...we'll be out in full force tailgating for the Steelers game and the Rams game. I'm taking the afternoon off the day of the game to start partying, and the next morning off to recover. Gotta love night games. More time to drink. :D

Bizump

Awww damn......if Cardinals fans won't even fill the front sections of the stadium, who's going to be there to watch Miami beat the Sparks?

Oh.......who has the second best record in the AFC, 1st in the AFC East, and only seems to get better the worse they play? OH WAIT, THAT WOULD BE THE PATRIOTS.......

Who's not making the playoff again WITH David Boston? OH YEAH, THAT'D BE THOSE CGUZZLING CHARGERS!!!!!

DeltaSigStan 10-28-2003 12:48 AM

4th quarter report: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

Sorry Arya, they just make it way too easy. Drew makes Ryan Leaf look like an All-Star

DeltaSigStan 11-04-2003 02:17 AM

It took till Monday night to say it, but:

Just another week in the NFL; the Patriots win, the Chargers lose. Sunrise, sunset.

polarpi 11-04-2003 02:19 AM

I hate to think about how you'll be if your oh-so-wonderful Patriots don't win it all this year.... ;)

Imthachamp 11-04-2003 02:43 AM

patriots are a f*cking fluke.

the way they stole that championship from my rams makes me sick. tom brady doesnt deserve to be an NFL qb.

That's the beauty of it. The Pats aren't EXPECTED to go anywhere. As far as I'm concerned the season is already a success. Course, it will be great when they hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy, but that's still monthes away.

polarpi 11-09-2003 09:17 PM

Woo hoo...the Chargers stomped on the Vikings! :D

It's about time Flutie was put in....Drew needed a chance to ease off the starter's job a little bit! :)

DeltaSigStan 11-09-2003 09:58 PM

Damn. That was ugly. I guess we know what the problem is.

Pats had a bye.......zzzzzzzzzzz..........

Imthachamp 11-09-2003 10:26 PM

flutie is real nice. ive always liked him.

DeltaSigStan 12-14-2003 08:47 PM

Not to beat a dead horse, but today was the PERFECT example of why the city of San Diego doesn't DESERVE a winning team. All I saw at the Q was a sea of Green and White, and the Charger fans had left by the middle of the 4th.

Talk about loyalty...........

BTW, 12-2 WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Don't get too overconfident....there's still a long road to travel to the Super Bowl....;) :p

DeltaSigStan 12-14-2003 11:39 PM

Again, I think this winning streak is going too long for it to last until the End of January. But, I'm riding it until it actually does end.

At least when we suck, we still sell out Foxboro, full of Pats fans.

GeekyPenguin 12-15-2003 01:15 AM

Today's game was so boring that I fell asleep. :p

A game with "Swamp Thang" Brett Favre boring? Whoa. I'm a Charger loyalist win or lose. But it was cool to see Favre still running around doing his thing.

Wasn't it also cool to hear "Go Pack Go" at the Chargers stadium.

Stan-
And I don't mean a mild chant, it was deafening.

That's what I love - no matter where the Packers play, at least 25% of the stadium is cheering for us. We're like the Cowboys used to be, minus the drugs and bad attitudes.

I'd expect that out a team that:

A) Is owned by the city

B) Has it's season ticket holders WILL their season tickets down to their children.

C) Well cmon, why else would there be a pro sports team in GREEN BAY WISCONSIN?

It's surprising how many legit Pack fans are out here (Are or their family if from Wisc.), I guess ya'll know where da nice weather be at, right?

lol

I agree on being a Chargers loyalist, either win or lose....I've cheered for them since I was about 9 years old (and yes, that was before they went to the Super Bowl :p) and I will always be a Chargers fan.

It was very cool to watch Favre running around and doing his thing, but just think it the Chargers hadn't had all the penalties and the turnovers what might have happened.....also if they could've stopped the Packers on that drive right after the Chargers had taken the lead, there might have been a different outcome to this game....

lindsay_iu 12-15-2003 08:08 PM

There was a lot of holding going on with the Chargers offense. I'm sure if those penalties had actually been called, the gap in the score would have been much wider. I don't think that in this game, the penalties had much of a serious impact. I think that the Chargers just had two more for 30 more yards (but don't quote me on that).

I'm a very loyal Packers fan/owner, but I can admit good things about their opponents....expect for the Bears and Vikes, naturally.

DeltaSigStan 01-03-2004 05:35 AM

Ok, you took Drew Brees like what, 3 yrs ago, and now you want to take Eli Manning? Jesus, give the guy a chance. Dan Fouts started 3-20 and he became the most successful Charger.

Course, that's not saying much...

The pats? HAHAHAHHA

I'll take your David Patton, and raise you a (insert washed-up running back here).

???????????????????????????

FiReKraCkEr 02-02-2004 01:59 AM

LOL, it goes to show you....Don't F*CK with the Pats!

DeltaSigStan 02-02-2004 03:08 AM

BTW San Diego, you should be proud,

Rodney Harrison finally win a Super Bowl........

Just not in a Bolts uniform.......

That's some funny stuff man.

Too cheap to win.

KSigkid 08-12-2004 06:33 AM

The Pats are having a similar problem with one of their first round picks, tight end Ben Watson. They think he may be a long hold out, the first one of the Kraft era.

(J.R. Redmond held out a couple of years ago, but it was only for about a week).

Kevin 08-12-2004 08:19 AM

It always did kind of rub me the wrong way for a ROOKIE to be asking for money like that before he even stepped on the field. The league should step in and put limits on their base salaries for a certain period of time. They could have all the incentives they wanted, but I feel their base salaries have become too inflated.

For Larry Fitzgerald to come and and make the same as Tyrone Moss right off the bat just seems wrong to me. Not that this is what's actually going on, but theoretically, something like that could happen.

You're seriously going to compare the operations of the Krafts to the operation of the Spanos?

If it were up to the Spanos, they'd be the Stockton Chargers.

I'm pretty sure the Pats will recover. If not, they'll fill the hole. If not, they'll work around it.

Haha, no way. I would never compare the Spanos disaster with the Krafts, who may be the best owners in team sports.

I was just commenting on another rookie holdout.

A rookie holdout that is embarrassing. Somehow, the parties need to come together because Rivers needs to be in camp. This team is light-years away from being in contention, and I suspect LaDainian Tomlinson will be ready to bolt (excuse the bad pun) as soon as the contract's up.

Maybe Elisha Archie Manning knew something was wrong when he got lil' Eli out of S.D.

DeltaSigStan 08-13-2004 02:50 PM

Ok, they just signed their star running back to the most expensive deal for a running back in the league...

You need someone to THROW the ball to him. Brees seems to like throwing to players wearing the opposite jersey as his, and Flutie can't go out there in stilts...

So, who's worse, the 49ers, the Cardinals, or the Chargers?

DeltaSigStan 12-07-2004 03:53 PM

1) Nice to see that those Hardcore, loyal Charger fans are out of hiding now that the team is 9-3.

2) I was shocked to see the SD/Denver game was sold out...I'm not surprised to see that the SD/TB game HASN'T sold out.

Go take your 2nd round trip to Indy, Foxboro or Pittsburgh and take your ass whooping so that Drew Brees can leave and you're stuck with the guy you were going with in the first place.

polarpi 12-07-2004 04:59 PM

Stan, Stan, Stan....you KNOW there will be a huge uproar in SD if Brees leaves here, especially if he leads them into the playoffs.

Rivers is a commodity...the Chargers can get a good deal for him (and this is something that even the national commentators are saying about the situation) :p

This diehard, loyal Chargers fan has been rooting them on since the beginning of the season, so I've got a great seat on the bandwagon, and I'm NEVER giving it up! :D

valkyrie 12-07-2004 05:03 PM

Stupid Chargers. I should say stupid Broncos, but it's all the same.
