OMEGA: WTF WTF WTF WTF -- her PERFORMANCE, her OUTFIT = Burberry meets Arts and Crafts from Vacation Bible School
Go ALWAYS & FOREVER man!! I JUST knew he was gonna suck. He looks straight NERDY but go head because he can blow. :D |
Ummmm....where's Paula? I missed the intro.
|
Ok, the white boy with the red hair could BLOW!!! He made me look up from my homework!
Umm, what's up with ya boy in the green sweater singing "Like a Virgin" CTFU!!! OMGoodness, now he KNEW he couldn't sing. And what was up with his "dancing" Oh, and what's up with all the talent-LESS brothas. They were straight COM-E-DY!!! |
I forgot about OMEGA!!!!
She was the funniest of them all!
CTFU!!! CTFU!!! CTFU!!! CTFU!!! CTFU!!! :D Did y'all check out her HAIR on the close-up??? She was an embarrasment to all naptural sisters!! What was up with that blond afro weave just sitting on tope of her head!!!! Oh my goodness!! Talking about she a performer....PLLUUUEEAAZZEEE!! |
LMAO @ the 5 year old saying "caucasian". His performance was PRECIOUS!!
Go head to BROTHA MAN singing Ribbon in the Sky. Green Sweater Man made me choke on my Hungry Jack mashed potatoes. WTF was up with dude who had his back turned and was talking to himself? |
Quote:
Most people going to Hollywood! STILL the guys are sweet. The ONLY unsweetened man throughout this whole thing was big boy from Nashville, Ribbon in the Sky. Anxious to see the 32 tomorrow night. Green sweater... He had the OR-DACITY to act shocked when Simon told him he sucked. And also LOL @ dude who argued with Simon outside the audition room. |
The redhead was surprisingly great.
The five year old had me cracking up at caucasian. lol! :D |
We forgot to talk about dude who sang. . . . .
I love you I love you I love you I love you I love you over and over and over and over and over in a monotone. I was choking @ him and his audition. He could have at least did a nursery rhyme. |

And how cruel was Simon to that little boy:mad: |
Together, forever, and ever....

[/B]Oh, and what's up with all the talent-LESS brothas. They were straight COM-E-DY!!! [/B][/QUOTE] More or less |
Is it just me or was the girl who wrote/sang that "Shove It Up Your A$$" song horrible? I can't, for the life of me, figure out why she made it to Hollywood.

and how about simon saying, right in front of that contestant who sang her butt off, that this competition was going end up being a division between looks and talent!
what bothered me is that last night, they picked so many black people but didn't show them singing! but we got to hear that freak in the green sweater sing two songs??!! |
Green sweater dude sang Like a Virgin. Why did that seem appropriate? ;) :p
The redhead reminded me of Rick Astley, too. He said that he was good enough to be in last year's top ten. He might be right. The judges were pretty harsh about all those 'image' remarks. I would rather hear someone who can sing than look at someone who is pretty, but who can't sing a note. |
ROFCTFU @ the man crying like a little girl, "Mom I got cut," and the one who did not know what ghastly was who took off his shirt to show us his SCRENF:rolleyes:
Oh and LMAO @ old girl who was about to bust a step when they told her to move to the front. Then simon said all those on fRONT LINE -- C YA. Hey Sorors did that STEP she did partly look familiar to ya?:o  :D COREY = The BLACK Sideshow Bob for real. RANDY, Stop saying DOG, YO, etc. The Black slang that you are using is soooooooooooo 2001. :p Plus it sounds stilted coming from you. MARCUS, you ARE a Brown nosing sissy!! Goodbye!! FRENCHIE and KIMBERLEY SET IT OFF!!! Kudos to them!! They are both getting record deals by the end of 2003. TRUST!! They have the VOICE and stage prescence as well. :) |
Frenchie made it! YES!!!!!!:D :D :D
Man, my hands were all sweaty and stuh... |
I was so nervous and excited for Frenchie, I thought I was on American Idol. Some people were pissing me off. I mean, this is American Idol...you probably won't get this chance again. There are thousands of people who would kill to be where you're at right now, and you wanna go out and get toasty when you should be practicing????
The people who started breaking down hollaring and crying were a trip. I mean, ONE person out of thousands and thousands is going to make it...did you honestly think it would be you? Come on  Yeah, CT4, I was crackin' up at the guy who called his Mom and started cryin like a beeeeyotch on national television. |
Hey ladies, I most def agree with the looks vs. talent comments. My thing is that these so-called talent possesing but no the "look" having people look just fine to me. He was dead wrong for saying that to that lady who sung "somewhere over..." I thought she was quite pretty, frenchi also! Their voices were simply angelic, they would make a wonderful duet.

Did Kellee the Delta named at the beginning make it to the final 32? I wasn't able to identify her all of these nights - did I miss her?
I was so happy Frenchie made it - started tearing up!! |

However, here's some info on everyone's favorite Girl Frenchie Davis: Age: 23 From: Washington, D.C. Favorite Song: I have too many to write only one Idol: None Do you have a job? Not currently. Do you have any formal singing training? Aside from the one voice class a week I take at Howard, no I don't. The class is called Voice for Musical Theatre. Where have you performed before? In the university productions of Ain't Misbehavin', a revue called Black Broadway and Timbuktu! Also a production of Little Shop of Horrors and Jesus Christ Superstar in Germany. When did you first start to sing? I don't remember when I started, it's just been something I always enjoy doing. I didn't know how good I was until high school. What is your favorite song to sing? "And I Am Telling You". What is the first concert you went to? Karen Clark of the Clark Sisters. What is the last concert you went to? Sade's Lover's Rock. What other talents do you have? Doing make-up, I have acting training, and I dance a little bit. If you don't make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do? I will go back to DC, finish my degree & graduate. What are your goals in life? To be the first full-figured pop star/sex symbol, and to use the power and money that come with that to open a performing arts conservatory in my neighborhood. What album would your friends be surprised you own? George Bizet's Carmen with Leontyne Price singing the role of Carmen. What is the first CD you ever bought? No Doubt, "Tragic Kingdom" I bought it in high school. What is in your CD player right now? "The Life" original Broadway cast soundtrack. Who is your AMERICAN IDOL? n/a What is your favorite type of music? I don't have one. I love so many. Jazz and R&B. What is your favorite song? I have too many to write only one. Favorite male pop artist? Prince. Favorite female pop artist? Madonna, Whitney Houston. Favorite album? Curtis Mayfield's "Superfly" soundtrack. Who in the music world do you think your style is most like? No one. I am unique. Most embarrassing moment? When I was performing in Jesus Christ Superstar and my heel of my shoe broke during the finale choreography & I fell on my butt, centerstage. If you couldn't sing, which talent would you most like to have? To be able to do ballet. What has been your proudest moment in life so far? Other than getting back in school after not having the money and not being there for a year, this experience has been the proudest moment cause I worked so hard. What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL? An American Idol is someone who sets trends instead of following them, and they are some one who can redefine what is idolized. Why do you want to be an AMERICAN IDOL? Because I want to be an inspiration to young girls and use my gift to do that & I believe that being an American Idol will allow me to do that. Do you think the audition process was fair? Yes, very. Who is your favorite judge and why? Simon because he is honest. Brutally. Who is your least favorite judge and why? n/a What advice do you have for other hopefuls? Just pray (to whatever God you believe in), and try your best to perfect your craft. What would people be surprised to learn about you? People would probably be surprised to learn that I'm flexible & I can move well. Who did you think was going to win last season? I didn't watch. If you could be a performer from any era, which would you choose and why? A blues/jazz singer or Cotton Club performer during Harlem Renaissance. |
Frenchie seems cool. Her and that other chick blew it UP! I am so glad they both made it. Even though Simon SEEMS to be placing an emphasis on appearance, he has let through quite a few people who don't LOOK like the "American Idol"...Frenchie, the big dude, Rick Astley...
I was SO glad they got rid of Sisqo, Jr. He was such a zero. He really thought he was all of that. Er? Uh? Hmm. No. I am also glad they got rid of Marcus. He put the QUEEN in drama queen. "I feel threatened right now, so I can't be near him" Equoia (sp?) is THE BOMB. I am glad they let her through. What about ol' girl who acted she was in a ghetto funeral when the judges came into the room and told them they weren't going on. YOU FORGOT THE WORDS. You KNEW you weren't going nowhere, lol. All in all, they have some true talent this year and it will be interesting to see who makes it through. I think that there is gonnabe quite a few record deals made, even for people that don't make it though. There are like 4 people that I think are really ready. |

Last night's AI was funny!!! I was ROTFLMAO at that dude who called his mom and at that girl who hit the floor when they told her group that they were not going to make it to the next round. And then those party guys!!! Did they honestly think they were going to make it when they were out cutting a rug in Hollywood?!And what is up with every AfAm guy that was on the show that had all kind of sweetners in their tanks?? The only one that wasn't "sugary" was that big dude from Bama.
Last but not least: FRENCHIE!! FRENCHIE!! FRENCHIE!! :D Can that girl blow or what?? Even if she does not become the next AI, trust that she will have a record or TV or movie deal of some kind, OK?? I'll make sure to watch Tuesday's show and VOTE!!! |
One of my students let me borrow her American Idol tape (thanks :)) and I saw the first 40 minutes of what I missed from the first ep.
#1 -- Nathan had BREASTS yall. About a B cup but breasts nonetheless. He had some extra fructose in his breakfast that morning because brothaman was FLAMING!! Those pants -- a MESS!!!  @ the mention of him and a thing. #2 Stepper -- BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA WHAT!!! #3 Kelly Osbourne was BOO HOOING!!! BWAHAHAHAHA SOB!! |
A hearty azz boooooooooo hiss for PATRICK'S DADDY coming out on stage to "stand up" for his son -- can we say VOTES just for that. IF I were Patrick, I would tell him later, don't YOU ever ever eva eva eva come out on stage like that AGAIN. I was pissed. I mean I know that will get him votes or whatnot but it was such a punk azz move. It's like the little kid who gets picked on by a bully and mama or daddy comes to the bus stop to tell bully to stop. HELLO!! Now the picked on kid will get picked on eVEN MORE!!
BTW, PAtrick has a decent voice but I am not seeing AI winner in him. He did a good job with Toni's song, but I am so not a fan of men singing a song that was originally performed by a woman. |

BETTIS did SUCK!! I don't remember him from earlier but like Randy, I too wanted him to hurry up and finish.
|
My votes:
Trenyce JD Adams Charles Truthfully I don't give a dang unless Frenchie and Kimberley are involved because those two can BLOW. |
My votes:
Kimberly JD Adams Trenyce Charles My mom tried to argue with me about some others - when I reminded her that her girls Frenchie and Kimberly hasn't come yet she finally agreed - the others would not be able to hang with them at all. What's up with everyone trying to give Simon lip? I agreed with him tonight - Trenyce has a great voice but I hated the song, Bettis was painful and Patrick- if you're not into gospel/church designs your style just wasn't happenin! Boo for trying to sing Toni again - BE A MAN!! Julia sang well but she turned me off with her hysterics last week with Kimberly. Till tomorrow! |

|
Umm Kimberly please stop riding CHARLES like that.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay CHARLES for making it over. Whoooooooooo hooooooooooooo Charles made it. :D Kimberly really back da heck up offa him. I really thought they were going to put JD over there. I don't see Charles being the overall winner at the end of the comp, but I can guarantee he has a record deal being composed right now. He does have a Stevie type of sound. |
Quote:
But I'm like everyone else, as long as Frenchie makes it, I'm happy.:) I've already got my picks for next week: Kimberley and Ruben. |
Go away Kimberly!!
I am glad that Julia made it over Kimberly. You could tell that she thought she had it in the bag when all of the judges were saying they thought that she should be the second finalist. I agree about Kimberly (next week) and Ruben. I am glad they didn't put Frenchie in that group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Well, I also am happy for Charles although every time I see him I think of Donnell Jones, especially with the use of Stevie songs.
http://origin.idolonfox.com/contesta.../photo-v-2.jpg http://images.aristarec.com/common/i...290x290_09.jpg I was happy that Julia made it since Kimberly was in her group and didn't want to practice and the only reason that she did was because Julia's sister told her off!! |
