So I haven't been watching the Bachelor. I did catch the end of it once, but I am watching it tonight. heather is really scary. She believes that Aaron is going to pick her. She said she's already sees Aaron as their kids's soccer coach etc. When they interview him he says he's not attracted to her. This show has taught me so much about howthe opposite sex is so different. Heather is picturing prince charming and Aaron is not. It's kind of scary how one person can say they felt chemistry etc and the other person doesn't feel that all. I hope I never feel chemistry and the guy doesn't!

Okay well he got rid of Heather, which makes me glad. She was coming on too strong and she didnt really appear like a good solid person. Did everyone see when at the end of the rose ceremony she said she doesnt understand how Aaron and a 22 year old could have something in common as opposed to her and Aaron???? Get over it! She is just jealous of Brooke and has been for a while now. I was sad to see Haley leave, but like she even said, she doesnt blame him since he didnt really know her all that well.

I am glad Brooke, and Gwen are still in the running. Angela seems okay, kind of quiet and emotionless, but we'll see what happens.

About Helene-- I dont really like her. Everytime she is with Aaron she basically tells him that she will leave if he doesnt pick her. I think he really likes her, which is a shame because I have a feeling she is a complete different person off camera. She is cute and smart- but seems fake to me. However, it looks like Aaron really likes her and i wouldnt be surprised if he ends up with her.

At the very end, Brooke tells Aaron about her father. Even though Aaron hugs her and rubs her back- i dont think he was really feeling the emotion.

My prediction is he will eliminate Angela next week.

I wish he stays with Gwen and Brooke for the final two, but i think Helene will be there instead of Brooke! :(

Okay, I've missed most episodes of this season, but I did catch tonight's. I was thinking a few things...

First, Heather was pretty psycho in my opinion -- "Oh, I can picture the picket fence and Aaron coaching soccer" and then it would switch to him -- "I'm not really attracted to her." I think it's totally amazing that two people can experience the same thing and see it SO differently. I also don't know why she had to be so snotty about Brooke's age. OMG, who cares, and why are you so insecure that you have to rip on someone else for such a stupid reason?

Anyway, I liked Hayley better than Angela. Angela didn't seem to have much of a personality from what I saw, and Hayley seemed cool but reserved. Oh well.

Maybe it's me, but the only person who seems to have *chemistry* with Aaron is Helene. I liked her because she's so outspoken and knows exactly what she wants. The whole Cinderella thing with Gwen didn't really do it for me -- everything was very pretty and nice and sweet, but there wasn't any spark there that I could see. I think Aaron thinks that she would be a great wife in a storybook sort of way, but I think that it would get stale really fast. Don't get me wrong, she's gorgeous, but I just didn't see it. I think they'd have a really boring life together -- pretty, but nothing really going on there.

I honestly think Aaron will end up with Helene, just b/c she won't stand to lose, and he really likes her....he called her a dork! I know that sounds dumb, but when I like a guy and am comfy around him I tease them the same way. I would like him to end up with Gwen though, imagine how cute their kids would be!!! Brooke is adorable, but I think she's just too darn young for him. As for Angela, she seems like more of lets be friends, no romance involved kinda gal. I think Brooke or Angela will be next to go, pretty sure it'll be Brooke though, just from the previews with her crying n all.

I just hope that people realize marriage is about love.commitment etc. The first bachelor and his wife are already divorced. I like Brooke, but I don't think that Aaron will choose her based on the fact that her father is in prison. The reason i think this is bc coming from money Aaron kind of has certain expectations to live up to also his rubbing Brooke's back seemed more like a natural reflex than one of intense feeling. Of course if you really love someone i guess it wouldn'tmatter if their parents were in prison.
thank god he got rid of Heather. I'm sure that she suffers a lot of insecurity bc she probably feels left out being 30 and not married. She seems like me in a way-- except I hope I'm not psycho., but when whe said ," I don't understand why someone can't love me for me?" I hope she finds someone and doesn't start planning a wedding right away.

Okay... I watched the show. I think all the girls pretty much suck, except Brooke. They are all either catty or boring... she is sweet and cute.

I really would hope that Aaron wouldnt eliminate Brooke because of her father. If she does get eliminated, he better have a good reason!!!! I dont think age has much to do with it. They are what, 6 years apart?

Aaaaiiiiii! Why would someone feel left out by being 30 and not married? Not *every* woman who hits 30 and is not married is insecure and whiny like Heather.

And for real, are Aaron and Brooke only 6 years apart? That's NOTHING!!!

My prediction for the final 2 is Gwen and maybe Helene.
I think he will cut Brooke based on the fact that (as AlphaSigLana pointed out so accurately) he comes from money and her father is incarcerated....I think that will play a big factor. I don't really see a lot of spark between he and Angela. Maybe that will change.

Frankly, Helene is the "Shannon" from Bachelor I...confrontational and in his face.

I was glad to see Heather to go, she was a little too catty and clingy. I don't like Helene's attitude. I would like Brooke and Gwen make it to the final 2.

Last night:

Heather: wow, what a trip! I knew she'd probably be out anyway, since I'd read that Aaron actually was interested in Heather from California, but switched at the last minute because H from CA was not being responsive. H from TX had too much of the Tammy Faye mascara thing going on anyway, but it was really interesting how different the perceptions were between the two during the one-on-one date.

Helene: Okay, now I don't like her with the psycho babble Jedi-mind trick crap. Either like him, or don't. She's rather manipulative, but at the same time, I can tell that Aaron's VERY interested in her-- but because of her attitude, or in spite of it remains to be seen.

Brooke: Sorry ladies, I just don't like her as a mate for this guy, but she seems like a really sweet gal. She has some daddy issues too because she's spent TOO much time talking about her papa and his incarceration.

Gwen: She's a more mature version of Brooke, me thinks. I think she can win this is she keeps the right combination of Brooke's sweet innocence with having a lot in common with Aaron on a more equally yoked (can't believe I'm using this term for a reality show, LOL! :D) level. Her forehead is really big, but the bangs helped a lot during the fairy tale date (and wasn't that carriage wonderful!).

Angela: Don't know anything about her. She seems like this week's Heather from Texas--Aaron it seemed might have really liked Hayley, but just couldn't be sure in time to make the decision, so Angela got the consolation prize, who at least seems rather innocuous.

Valkyrie-- I didn't say every 30 yr old woman feels like this, but some women feel that if they're not married by 30 there is something wrong with thme. That's what heather sounds like. I'm assuming she must have friends that are married and she feels left out.

It was so funny to see Heather's view of the date of how wonderful it's going and how I can see myself as a wife and Aaron is like I don't feel anything for Heather. Aaron read her like a book. I think if Heather wasn't so caught up in the competition and putting down Brooke and pushing her agenda of trying to be the wife, she probably would had made it through this ceremony.

The Cinderella coach looked beautiful. Their date seemed kind of boring though. The conversation was kind of dull. Gwen reminds me of an older version of Brooke also.

I like Helene but she is manipulative by her little threats and I think Aaron likes the challenge. I could see Aaron dating her because she does keep him on his feet. I don't know if the challenges would turn him away after awhile though.

I like Brooke and I think Aaron and Brooke have chemistry but I don't know if she could keep Aaron interested. Also, depending on the type of crime her father committed will play into Aaron's decision. If the crime was a white collar crime like embezlement (excuse spelling), I don't think he would really care. If it's armed robbery or murder, I think that would have some bearing.


The last 2 girls Haley and Angela really didn't get any time with Aaron.


Can't wait until next week for the meeting of the families.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that scene. I think the next time they cast the Bachelor then need a Simon type guy from American Idol. A guy that is brutally honest. I think it would spice things up a little.

What I can tell you is that Angela got the boot! Brooke was also the only one he gave a rose to on the "family date." That was definitely very random and I wonder if the "yellow rose" he gave her has any meaning behind it. Could it mean he sees her as only a friend?

Although Brooke is the youngest of the bachelorettes, I definitely think either she or Gwen will make the best match. Of the two, though, Brooke is the gal I am rooting for. :) Something is telling me that he will choose Gwen. :( I definitely think it will be between them two though.

I think it'll be Gwen or Helene. You can see the chemistry between Aaron and both of them. My guess is that Aaron has no intention of marrying any of them. He's out for a good time. While he'll get engaged (he's been there, done that already), I doubt if he really plans to get married.

To respond to Hootie, I think Helene is more aware of the sketchiness (to borrow your phrase) of the situation. and her behavior reflects that. To me Helene is more natural and not so much in awe of what's happening as are Brooke and Gwen. Ultimately, I think it will be Helene. She's playing him pretty cool. On the other hand, if he wants "doting eyes" then he'll go for Gwen. Brooke seems overwhelmed.

Did you see that 'Bama room with all the memorabilia. I kept waiting for Rodney Dangerfield to walk in wearing his plaid slacks or maybe a gopher to peek out from beneath Bear Bryant's hat...lol.

My prediction is that Gwen will be the last one standing, with Brooke as 1st RU. I think Helene will get cut next week.

I think it will be Qwen too. The last two will be Qwen and Brooke. If you saw in the previews for next week, he was totally excited and happy to see Qwen after 4 days.
Another show i;ve been watchin is the Amazing Race. Its actually pretty good. Plus those 2 male twins that r models r hotties.......

Like most people, I wasn't shocked to see Angela go. This episode was not very suspenseful because you could tell that Aaron had a connection with every girl but Angela. The next one will be INTENSE!! :eek:

I'm rooting for Brooke again. She just seems like the sweetest girl! My second choice would be Helene. NO GWEN!!!

Last night's episode wasnt as exciting as I thought it would be. I think everyone knew Angela was going to get cut, he just picked her because he knew her better than Haley. I am sure he would have let her go last time if he could have. I am sure that must of been weird, because he has some sort of connection with the other three, so meeting the parents was a step forward, but with Angela, it was just plain weird. Did anyone catch how Angela and her sister said, "oh yeah, i missed your birthday so happy birthday" and Angela just brushed her off and said "yeah, thanks". WHO DOES THAT? I thought it was funny! She has like no emotion!

Helene..... dont like, hope she gets the boot next week. Obviously this show is like a game, and he cant tell her for sure she'll get a rose, its just not the way it works. She wants to like manipulate him and I really dont think she likes him all that much. She just doesnt want to lose the "game". Unfortunately, i think Aaron really likes her. who knows!

Brooke is the cutest thing! I love her southern accent! While I think it should be her and Gwen for the final two, i have a feeling he might let her go next week :(

Gwen is so perfect for Aaron, ultimately I think he will end up with her!

My predictions are that he will cut Brooke next week, then Helene and end up with Gwen.

I hope, however, he cuts Helene next and then i'd be happy with either Brooke or Gwen.

My friends and I were all sure that he'd eventually end up with Helene BUT after they showed the previews for next week, I think she's gonna be the next to go! I think Aaron is just gonna get sick of her bluntly honest questions she asks him, and I don't think he likes being put on the spot like that ALL THE FREAKIN TIME. (She does it to him at least 5 times a show, ever show!!!) I am just thinking he's gonna be sick of that....?:confused:

Okaaaaa... I watched some, but not all, of the Bachelor last night. Looks like its down to Brooke and Helene. The surprising thing is what Aaron told Gwen when she asked why she wasn't selected, that he was in love with one of the two remainding, Brooke or Helene.

Again he picked Helene first and Brooke last. That point was brought up earlier, and it seems to be a pattern. Not sure what it means, though.

I'll stick with my choice of Helene. She's playing it much cooler about having reservations about the relationship. She says she really cares for him and then throws out the "We'll see", caveat. Brooke's feelings are out there for all to see. When waiting for Aaron to choose between she and Gwen, Brooke was in total agony.

If Aaron is in love with one of the final two, then he made his choice earlier and is mainly playing this out. He seems like a nice guy, or at least is trying to give that impression. Maybe he's avoiding hurting Brooke since she looks so vunerable. I dunno.

Anyway, I sense more natural chemistry between Aaron and Helene, plus she's seems to be more his style considering age. But if he wants a girl who is totally there for him, then Brooke's his girl. We'll see.

Oh gosh, my sister (biological) and I were in suspense. When the show finished, I said, "I can't wait for next week!" They then show previews for a silly reunion!! Can't they just move on to the last episode already???

I kinda feel like he already made his choice in Helene and maybe he dropped Gwen to make the next decision easier on him. I really don't see him choosing Brook. She is a sweet girl, but I think Helen and Aaron are more on the same wave length.

I was pretty stunned when he didn't call Gwen! But I think she was very classy and her dress for the rose ceremony was GORGEOUS. Unlike Crazy Christi, she had a few tears in her eyes but contained her composure. I hope they have a reunion show and we can see what happens to Gwen. She's such a darling some guy will be very lucky!

And ofcourse I'm excited for Brooke, that star named after her sister was awesome. She seems so attached, that I worry if she doesn't get picked. But then again, she's very young and the whole world is at her feet. There will probably be many princes in her future.

Helene ... hmmm. I still don't know what I think of her, in this episode she seemed more distant, not as sweet or caring. Always on the defensive. Although in previous dates I could really see where they clicked.

It hate that they're stringing us along next week with the reunion but it's just another great opportunity to see Crazy Christi at work. I wonder if she's still hung up on him?

I was shocked when he didn't call Gwen. I thought he totally liked her. I liked Qwen. I respect her for not going into a crying fit and taking it was diginity when her name wasn't called. Sure she had a few tears, who wouldn't. I agree on whoever said he didn't choose Gwen because it would be not as difficult to choose one in the end. But then he would be a chickensh*t, if he did it to make it easier. I rather have 2 awesome people to choose from than 1 awesome person and 1 okay person. I could see why he could choose Brooke because her video message was really good, she took his feeling into consideration. But in the end, I think Helene will be the last one left.

Wow, where was I when people were trying to figure out if he's Greek? Cuz that person from UMR would be ME... :D

Anyway, if anyone still cares, I'm not too sure on his Greek affiliation. Our newspaper reported that he pledged Delta Sigma Phi in the spring of 1994, but that chapter closed the summer of 1994... the article said he was not initiated due to it closing; however, my roommate's sister knew him and said that he WAS initiated. It's hear-say, but better than nothing, eh?

This guy apparently lives an hour away from my house (Springfield!) and he even lived in Joplin for a while for highschool (I live directly north of Joplin--technically not Joplin, but nobody recognizes my town so that's what I say :)) And if anybody wants to stalk me there, too bad b/c I'm never there :D and my parents are moving anyway lol

To add another comment to what I said earlier: when Aaron was deciding between Brooke and Gwen and the camera gave a Brooke closeup (twice actually), you could tell she knew she wasn't going to be selected. It was so evident in her that she wasn't the one, that I was really surprised she was given a rose. Ya never now. M'mmm, who knows, maybe she'll be the final one.

There's a lot of stuff that goes on behind camera that we don't see and they could be editing some of the clips to disguise some of his "love" feelings. I was really surprised when he said he's in love with one of them, cuz that depth of feeling between Helene, Brooke, and Aaron only shows through Brooke.

I'm still banking on Helene, mainly cuz of logic, but love isn't always logical.

I think he would have let brooke go this round because it's obvious that she would be very hurt, but that's my opinion. Oh and I don't really enjoy hellene.

Man, wednesday's show was a shocker!:eek: I really thought he was going to pick Helene and Gwen and let Brooke go. He even said that is what he was planning on doing too, but when he saw Brooke, things changed.

I dont like Helene! Unfortunately, i think she will be the last one standing. I was reading on the abc.com message boards, and people on there have said that several people have seen Helene in Springfield, and she is the winner. I doubt they would allow her to move to springfield while the show is airing though!

It was so sad to see Gwen go, and he even told her he couldnt look into her eyes and tell her that that was the right decision. I also heard when Gwen said to the camera that Aaron told her he is falling in love with one of them, and im sure it's Helene. He seems to be really into her, and I think he has had that attraction for her all along..... remember when he gave her his number in case she ended up dropping out?:rolleyes:

Poor Brooke, you can tell she is really falling in love with him and is showing all her emotions on her sleeve. I hope she wins because she has a great heart, she is sweet and caring.

What do you think about him getting that star named after Brooke's sister? I thought it was really sweet of him-- who knows maybe she is the one! ;)

I saw the clips for the last show, and she looks so pretty in that red dress!

Helene seems to me like she never fixes herself up for anything. She is always just wearing her hair down and doesnt do anything with it, like she doesnt really care!

So, next week is the reunion show. Is the following week, the finale???? Do any of you know if they are still going to meet Aaron's parents??
