I'll be in Reid Hall

Oh, Reid's okay, you get to walk across a level surface! Now Pomfret, once I'd completed the 20-minute walk up that mountain and then 10 minutes more across campus if I had to get to my grandmother's house, which was over by the sorority houses....I should've camped out in the Residence Life office to see if there were any cancellations in another dorm!

Haha...ya i hear Pomfret is no fun to walk from. I actually only had a choice between Reid and one of the co-ed dorms with no A/C. So i had to make a quick decision between boys and A/C....i chose the A/C in a heartbeat. And Reid will be good because 1.) the animal sciences building is 2 minutes away (an. sci is my major) and 2.) the only two people i know that are going to the UofA are staying in Reid as well. Yay! sorry i wrote for so long...i'm just way psyched!

with mom in your corner, you are ready to go. get comfy shoes for the walk. you might even consider carrying your dress shoes. i imagine your rho chi could watch it for you. now enjoy it, show yourself perfectly and have a ball. you've got a bunch of folks behind you.

YES..... If I could go back and do one thing differently during my rush, that would've been it! The first night was torture on my feet because I didnt think to bring comfy shoes along for the (long) walk. The girls that were smart walked around in sneakers and birkenstocks, and just put their dress shoes on right before each party. The rho chi's stayed outside, so of course nothing got stolen. Do this and you won't have to deal with blisters for a month afterward! ;)
