You're being facetious, are you not? Whenever I go see my cousins out in Brooklyn and Long Island they love actually TORTURING me with White Castle. Even though I don't eat red meat, I am not one of those people that are normally repulsed by the sight of red meat. But can you even call their meat meat ? I mean c'mon, kids, they're sqaure with these disgusting little ventilation holes and soggy bread. Their fries aren't even good. And it's pretty hard to mess up fries. Sorry, folks. Maybe I'm just spoiled with all the good Cali fast food. Good fast food....Is that an oxymoron? ;)

Oh, we have the BEST burgers in the world here. We have a local place called Swenson's Drive-In.....there are probably 5 or 6 of them in the area. They have the most delicious cheeseburgers anywhere. I have no idea what their secret is but MMMMMM! I get them with ketchup and pickle.

There is also a place near Cleveland called Whitey's that is legendary but I haven't been there yet.

if you are ever in el paso...roscoes is superb for your basic burger. cattle baron if you want a little pricier number. you can have all the fixins at both including chile...green or if you are brave, jalapeno.

Absolutley not! I love those little things. Restaurants out here try to duplicate them, but to no avail!

I read somewhere (I can't remember where, so I can't swear it's true) that the FDA tested all of the major fast food chains beef and that White Castle scored well above McDonalds and the others.

I pretty much agree on the fries -- not too good.

At least in Ohio they now serve Coca Cola products. They used to have their own brand of cola which was just awful.

White Castle actually uses top quality beef, like the best in the business. they just look shady because they're grilled.

I know its a little strange because the topic is burgers but you'll see where im going in a little bit.

Has anyone seen MIB II?? I went with a bunch of friends ....one of them really loves to collect those kiddie toys from fast food places (some of them are really kool). Anyways, she MADE us pull over at Burger King so she could see if they had the pug doggie toy. They did/ she was happy. But then while we were in the movies there was this scene about Burger King...we all died laughing I dont think we will ever let her live that down..LMAO

White Castle, Havent had one of those in a long time! But my favorite of all time are Steakburgers from Steak n Shake! I eat those like religiously when I am at home. I get a double steakburger platter with cheese, lettuce, mayo and pickle with fries and chili and a cherry coke. Always :)

hmmmmm Cherry Coke....haven't had one of those in years!!

I know that very few people (maybe only me) here on GC have had this experience, but the best burger in the world is it The Burger Hut in Chico, a few blocks from Chico state.

My family lives about four hours away from Chico, and I will still drive there just for a Burger Hut burger. I can't explain what is in it, but they do make their own sauce, and you'll think that you have died and gone to burger heaven.

Well...

I was in California this week and, low and behold, there was an In and Out close to my hotel.

You guys are right -- they're great!

But they still aren't White Castles.
