back to this thread... years later!
Yes- KDPhi & KDPhi NAS are sister and brother orgs. HOWEVER- we operate completely separately. We run our own meetings, govern our own brother/sisterhood, and maintain secrets from each other (meanings of letters, etc). Our relationship is mutually beneficial and is what is so appealing to many members! We host a national convention together yearly, as well as a few other national meetings. It is my understanding that the brothers DO have a trademark on the letters Kappa Delta Phi. So- 7 years later, here I am back at it talking about the letters! Alot has changed.. I'm no longer 18 years old :P and have graduated from college but remain involved with the national organization. |
What happens
So my sister wants to joing this sorority (alpha kamma delta phi) , she is easily influenced and peer pressured. Can anyone please, please tell me an honestly if you guys do any hazing. I realize that sorority sisters have to protect their interest. But an honest answer is really appreciated. I have talked to a few people, and they all say this sorority does pretty bad stuff in the hazing category. It also seems to have a bad reputation as a promiscuous sorority. Someone, please address my concerns it is much appreciated.

1. Your sister should be able to make her own decisions. 2. An organization may haze at one university but not another. Getting advice from us really wouldn't help. And honestly, anyone who gives advice about reputations could be lying. 3. Seriously, what organization will come out and say "Yes, we brutally haze our members. Tell your sister to come and join us!" ? |
