Well,

Early age: Art teacher
Late Elem.-Freshman HS: Meteorologist
Sophomore HS-1st semester of college: Architect and Interior Designer (I actually started school, with a scholarship and all, but the actuality of the job wasn't for me).

I also used to want to be an XYZ (which shall remain nameless). It was family tradition, and only natural...until I realized I had to do what was right for me personally.

When I was 3, I told my mom that I wanted to be a bus driver so I could make the wheels go round and round.

Then I wanted to be a lawyer from elementary to jr. high

Then I wanted to teach Spanish in high school. Y'all I was the queen of Spanish in high school. I even founded a Spanish Club (El club de Espanol). They still have the banner that I made with my signature and underneath I wrote Founder.

My sophomore year in college I decided that Spanish and I should go our separate ways.

I then wanted to work as an agent for either the FBI, CIA, Secret Service, somebody!!

Now, I want to work in Human Resources.

However, I did get one of my wishes. I do work for a gov't agency. I'm just not an agent!

I wanted to be an actress on "The Young and the Restless".

I wanted to be an advertising executive, and I KNOW I would have been a good one as far as coming up with ideas and slogans. When I got to college my major was marketing, but that accounting killed me! I had always wanted to be a teacher too, but the low pay discouraged me. I switched sophmore year to education and went ahead and did what I knew would keep me content. I NEVER EVER want to work in the months of June or July! Teaching has its perks....

I wanted to be a pediatrician and do hair at the same time. But right now medical school is on hold while Im in grad school majoring in nutrition (close enough, right). But im still going to have my own salon and do some hair, because thats an all american black girl dream...;)

I wanted to own a mall......... and all the businesses in it!

hmm..

I wanted to be a doctor, perhaps a geneticist or biologist.

I wanted to be a lawyer, then a doctor, then a teacher(so I could grade papers and write on the overhead) then a figure skater, then an actress, and then at 8 I decided I wanted to be a journalist, and hopefully by the end of next year I will be working as one.

I really don't know what to say about this right here. Did you have siblings???

When I was little, I wanted to be a nurse, like my mommy. In high school, I wanted to be a lawyer then later become a judge. Then I wanted to be a computer programmer and write programs for video games (I wrote a program for a paddle ball game in high school).

I got to college and tried to double major in Comp Sci and Spanish (I don't know why I chose Spanish if you want to know the truth. I took 6 years of French in jr high and high school). Ended up dropping the Comp Sci part (way too time consuming) but ended up with a math minor and kept the Spanish major.

I work as a dorm mother at a boarding school, and I love it! The only time I really use my Spanish is when I'm helping the kids with their homework. Funny how life works out.

Dang...Let's see if I can remember them all...

Ok...

1.) From elementary school and thoughout junior high school (off and on), I wanted to be a fashion desinger and a model (I would've made a good model too--I'm 5'10", pretty, thin but w/ a cute figure)...I used to draw my own designs (can draw well also), complete with the matching accessories... I also used to make clothing for my Barbie dolls w/ my sewing machine...

2.) At some point in junior high, I wanted to be a neurosurgeon ( ). I had to do quite a bit of reading on it for a class, and I found it very fascinating, until I realized how clumsy I am and that this simply would not be a good profession for me...

3.) In early high school I gave up (kind of) the dream of being a fashion designer/model, as I realized how hard it would be to achieve. I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in art, possibly art therapy. I attended a high school that is a Visual Arts Magnet, where I learned to perfect my drawing, make pottery and jewelry.

4.) I didn't end up staying at that high school...And I ended up deciding upon a career as a lawyer with aspirations of becoming a judge or trial lawyer...(I don't know why I thought a career in art would be easier to achieve than fashion design & modeling??? :o Both are hard to get into)...

5.) Enter college, strayed a bit from law for a while, exploring, but settled on it once again...

6.) Now, I know that I want a law degree (as well as a masters in public policy or public administration), but I don't want to practice law (at least not doing litigation or contracts anyway--I want to do policy work (analysis or contruction))...I am aalso considering exploring modeling (temporarily) while I take some time off b/w undergrad and grad school (while simutaneously working a regular office job, that is). :D
