As far as Mysterious' sister she had been missing for a few days. A woman where they live had taken her trash out one day and discovered body parts. It turned out to be her (Mysterious') sister. :(

"Smokeahantas" and "Flopper"

Hi GREEKCHAT!

Well, I'm so happy to see that I am not the only one watch MTV's Making the Band! The show is seriously funny. I was so disgusted by Pochahantas and her "potty mouth". After all was said and done, she sat there crying on Jamie's shoulder. I would have been satifsified if they would have let her get away with a verbal warning, but this is a lesson she will carry for the rest of her life.:(

As for Chopper and Allah, why did Allah throw a garbage can at the boy and hit him in the face? He is already very "special looking"! LOL:p

I am tired of Jamie crying and stuff. Puffy made a good point when he said that he wants to cry all the time, just because of all of the troubles he has being a black man in AmeriKKKa, that was deep.
Now Jamie is crying because he didn't like Choppers retort to his little rhyme...boo hoo hoo! I can't wait to see the new episode tonight.
Even if you don't like Puffy, ya watch the show!

Monday Nights 10 PM EST, 9 Central
:D

Gina1201 12-09-2002 11:48 PM

Alright let's look at who made the chopping board this week:

1. Yazmin - hmm, I really have nothing bad to say about her

2. Dylan- okay why does he think he's coming back and says that his going away is an "intermission". Um, okay:rolleyes:

3. Jamie- I kind of figured that he would be leaving. I didn't think that Puff was too fond of him after the crying scene.

4. Jamirah- even though Puff said he doesn't discriminate ;) , I think that he let her go simply due to her pregnancy.

Someone is returning to the house next week, who do YOU think it is?

ClassyLady 12-10-2002 10:06 AM

Either Jamirah or Yazmin will be returning next week, they showed who it was from behind and it was a girl with a bushy blonde ponytail. Also, I was a little disappointed that Jaime was kicked off the show. Personally, I thought that he was the most talented rapper, or the most talented one that we get to see because there still are a lot of people in the house that we don't know yet. Anyway, I think that Puff eliminated Jaime just because of the crying scene. It's not fair, but neither is life.

Also, as for last week's episode, I was hoping that Chopper really did go back to New Orleans. I don't like him and I don't think that he can rap. Of course, we all knew that he was bluffing and wasn't about to leave, talkin bout "I'll take Greyhound."

My heart really goes out to Mysterious. I was crying right along with her. A death like that is really hard to deal with and it seemed like her sister was young, just a teenager. I will keep her in my prayers.

Pepsichick 12-10-2002 01:44 PM

I was shocked at some of the cuts but not really syprised.

I felt the white guy has skills but the crying incident would make it hard for him to be taken seriously.

The latina girl could really sing, so I wasn't expecting that. T

The pregnant girl I was sure was out because being in the house would have been a lot of stress on her and her baby.

The guy with the legal problems was very talented but P. Diddy has had enough of his own problems with the law. He knows what thats like.

My heart also went out to Mysterious.

Season Finale

Okay who else watched this?

I was highly surprised to see that both Chopper and Frederick made the group. I kind of had a feeling that Dylan would make the group since Puff was talking about writing a letter to the judge.

HOWEVER, can I just say that Mysterious showed her AZZ? http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/.../aktion075.gifWhen Puff said that you could show emotion if you lost I did NOT think that she would take it to that level. http://www.click-smilie.de/sammlung/sauer/sauer055.gif I mean screaming in the restaurant, breaking glasses, pulling up flowers, WTF?? I know that she had been through a lot lately but she completely acted like a DAMN FOOL. I have to agree with Alison that part of the reason behind her not getting in the group is the fact that she kept talking about being a solo act.

MavenofDrec 12-24-2002 12:40 AM

And The Winners R...

Hi Y'all

Well, I am satisfied with his choices, and I am glad the season is over. I think Mysterious was a slob, and even if she DID make the group, they would have had to do some serious image "therapy" for her. Her showing her butt in the end only made it worse. What makes her think that anybody owes her anything? Who in that house has had an easy life? Except maybe Jamie and he cried at the word "Boo".

Babs looks like a 2 dollar who**. Image Makeover please. Her skills are definitely better than Oscar Madison "Mysterious" and Foxy Brown II "Mina".

I don't think Chopper can hold a candle to Fredderick or E-Ness. His attitude will be his demise. He needs to watch his back....
I like Sarah's voice...

and I like Dylan's flavor. And his dimples

blackcoffee 12-24-2002 12:49 AM

I agree with you. Mysterious DID make a fool of herself..but to pick Chopper? Chopper?? He was way too arrogant to make the band. IMO, Mysterious had been through so much these past few weeks - too much in her whole life that Puff could've given her a chance...just one shot. To pick Chopper over her just baffled me.

Fredderick DEFINITELY deserved to be in the band. He has superb lyrical ability and his personality was on point. I liked Dylan (sp) and his accent - he will definitely add spice to the group.

As far as Puffy......to me he just is always trying to show how powerful he is and how much money he makes...he's kind of arrogant. I don't know, this whole show just brought out a new image of Puffy that is on the negative side. I believe another reason why Chopper was chosen is because he is a mirror image of the master of arrogance himself..P-Diddy.

I always knew that Puff was arrogant. I think this show just lived up to what I always thought he was like. I think that there will definitely be some friction going on between him and Chopper? Did you see the convo in the studio when Puff was like "We can't both sit in the driver's seat?" I think that this might be one of the ways in which Chopper will get put out of the group.

ClassyLady 12-24-2002 01:27 AM

I knew that Lloyd, Dylan and Babs were definitely going to make it into the group. Lloyd was the best male rapper, to me. He just showed his level of talent during the freestyle battler. Dylan just has a sound that's totally new and different. Babs was the best female lyricist. When they had the freestyle battle, she ripped Mina apart. Mina really doesn't have anything new to offer the music industry. She's rapping about the same stuff that Foxy and Kim have been saying for years. And, as I've said before, I don't think that Mysterious is talented at all. Babs was the clear choice.

With Sara and Jonessa, it was basically a toss up. Either of the two will due for the group. Sara has the stronger voice of the two though.

Now, Chopper AND Freddrick shocked the hell out of me. I thought that Freddrick was the better choice. Chopper is just too arrogant and I can see that there is going to be a lot of drama surrounding him in the future.

Finally, Miss Mysterious. Goodness Gracious. She acted a fool in that restuarant. She broke that glass, and tore up the taxpayers' flowers, and even called Puffy a binch. That was just poor form. Show your emotions, but don't burn your bridges. How did she know that Puffy wasn't going to refer her to some of his industry buddies? He could have said to another label "I don't have the time to develop her, but she has talent, see what you can do." She has really taken for granted what an amazing opportunity this was. The part that really got me was when she said "Why can't I ever get a blessing." Sweetie, the fact that you are here, on this earth, alive, healthy, and breathing is a blessing in and of itself. If you've been surrounded by death your whole life, then you should know how important each day is. She really needs to put some things in perspective. Putting out a CD is not all that life has to offer. I know that she's had it rough but if God brought you to it, then He'll bring you through it.

I have to agree with what you have said. Mina did seem like Lil' Foxy. I'm glad that Puff picked Dylan since he is basically giving him a chance to prove that he can make it. Plus I think he's kind of cute.;) Sara seemed to have a stronger voice to me than Jonessa, although she (Jonessa) has been on a few mixtapes. I personally would have picked Fred since he seems more mature than Chopper and since Puff and Chopper already look like they're going to have problems.

As far as lady M, I agree thatshe probably won't get a record deal based on what she did last night. I'm sure that other record labels have been watching the how and she just ruined it for herself.

RedefinedDiva 12-24-2002 12:34 PM

I can't believe that I missed the season finale! It sounds like it was a TRIP!! Too bad it doesn't replay until Thursday. That's cool. I can wait until then.

I don't like Chopper (even though he is from New Orleans! :p ). He is lame and always shouting out something stupid like, "WE did it, New Orleans!" YOU are not the first person to make it out of the N.O.! You haven't even made it! Go figure. It was funny when Allah went upside his head! I think that Chopper acts that way to portray that N.O. is full of thugged out nigs. Sorry. That image doesn't fly with me. He need personality therapy. Fredrick is cool. That's all about him.

Mysterious..... What can I say? SHE CAN NOT RAP!! All she does is growl like a damn grizzly bear. Too bad she looks like one too. That tired azz ponytail has had it! She always looked like hell turned over. That look...not cool. As for Mina, Babs ate her up. Game over.

I'll be back once I see that finale!

Queencece 12-24-2002 11:00 PM

My take.....

The series as a whole was a trip. Puff had me cracking up when he was cuttin people up left and right.

Anyways, Chopper is a funny character to me because like Fred said, His mind is too young for the industry. I personally dont think that its for him right now. I think he can rap a lil somethin, but I think Fred is the better choice. I also forsee many problems with him and Puff, which in turn will send him home to the Magnolia Projects.

Dylan, I think is a cutie too. I love his style/flavor. I think he was an awesome addition to the group. And that accent, *wiping brow* "whew" did it for me. :)

I like Sara's voice too. She cool.

Mina (where do I start). She cant rap to save her life. I dont know how she made it into the house. When she was battling Babs, she needed to be taking notes instead of battling and Puff knew that. I think that he set her up on purpose, but I think it was to prove a point too. Like to let her know that he skills wasnt all that and that they needed work. I didnt like her that much. Can you tell?

Lloyd is very talented. Good choice there, Puff!

As for Mysterious, I dont know what made her think that she was gonna be in the group after Puff sat there and asked her, whether or not she wanted to be a solo artist. He already knew the answer before he even talked to her because she was running her mouth entirely too much. Im sorry, but thats what happens when you dont know how to let things just play out and keep ya mouth shut.

As for her little tantrum at the restaurant, that was a little uncalled for. She could have controlled herself a little better than that. Kiss your career goodbye, its a wrap because your attitude is what they are looking at. She should have learned that from Belinda.

Jamirah was tight with hers too. I think it would have been tight to see her and Babs battle. Anyways, I dont know how she didnt know she was pregnant, but I guess like she said she was always chubby in the waist. She would have been tight for the group too. Oh Well.

Overall, I think everyone that is in the group deserves to be there, except Chopper who was hanging on by the bruise that Allah gave him. He was very lucky.

Sorry, so long.
Peace and one!

Season Finale

Lloyd - Brotha Man gots skillz, period.

Babs - Tore Mina's a$$ straight out da frame. Mina is a wannabe Lil Kim/Foxy Brown. Good move on Bad Boy to bring Babs into the house. Truth be told, she should have been in the house from the start, not Mina's non-talented a$$.

Dylan - Very talented brotha. Will make a nice addition to the group. Plus he has a very cute smile to match. :D

Sarah - Very good strong voice. Nice addition to the group.

Fredderick - I like his voice and animated rhyming skills.

Chopper - I think Puffy sees himself in Chopper (perhaps back in the day).

Mysterious - She acted like a damn fool. I was very dissapointed in her. What if Puffy decided later on that he would like to work with her as a solo artist? She definitely messed her chances of getting a deal with anyone. Puffy told them that they could "spaz the f**k out" if they weren't chosen, but she took it to a whole different level. Why get mad anyway? She really did not want to be in a group anyway and her big mouth got caught out there. I hope she had some money on her that night 'cause I would have made her pay for all that chit she broke up.

*Sigh*.... I missed it too. Do you know what time it comes on tonight?

toocute 01-03-2003 10:20 AM

OK...I saw the marathon on New Years. Have they released an album yet? Is it really in the works?

Gina1201 01-03-2003 10:49 AM

I think that there is going to be a second season that follows the six of them though their process of making a record. I think that is what happened with the last "Making the Band".

Ldy-n-Red 01-04-2003 09:57 PM

Everyone seems pretty humble and easy to work with....except for Chopper. When they were picking the finalist the one exec (Tracey) told P. Diddy that Chopper would cause problems, I think she is completely correct.

Also, there is another rapper out who calls himself Choppa, I wonder if the new Chopper will change his name.

I was wondering that too. Does anybody know what the name of the group is? I know they didn't say it on the show but I figured it might have leaked onto the internet by now....

I liked the choices too, but I probably would have put in Walter instead of Chopper. Five MCs and one vocalist? It seems like there should be more than one, and I really liked Walter's voice. But then again, I'm not Diddy - as he so readily reminded me EVERY EPISODE.

There are two rappers by that name already. One, as you mentioned, is Choppa. I think he is one of the 504 Boys. And, there is a Chopper rapping already too.

He'll probably change his name but still call himself Chopper, like Biggie did. I pray that he does not call himself the Notorious C.H.O.P. I don't think I could handle it.

Choppa is not technically a 504 Boy, however, he is signed to No Limit now. Chopper from MTB should change his name. People might get confused. New Orleans folx can tell them apart, but we only make up a small # of the population.

Dylan gets extended probabtion instead of jail time....

The D.A.'s change of heart came after Puffy himself wrote to Mullen seeking leniency for John, noting that he "has what it takes to make it all the way." P. Diddy added, "I am blessed to be in a position to create opportunities for our youth and help them fulfill their dreams."

It's Puff and the group that he picked: Sara, Babs, Eliot Ness, Fredrick, Chopper, and DYLAN.

Girl, I was surprised to see that I recorded the episode. This season can be summed up in three words: DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA. I can't wait, especially when Mysterious comes back. I was also glad to see that they did updates on some of the other cast members.

I was wondering if MTV planned to do a follow up on the group. Yeah.

But wait - Mysterious come back???? After she was cutting up like Boo Boo the Fool when she wasn't selected???

Puff brought her back to see how she was since she had previously ACTed A FOOL!! He wanted to make sure that she was alright and he even lets her go to the studio. He wants her to do a song with the group.

RedefinedDiva 06-04-2003 12:08 PM

Yeah, girl. He wants her to record a track with the group.

Pocahontas sort of apologized for her behavior. She said that she realized that she looked stupid. She tried to jump sporty on Jaime about him crying on TV. Anyway....

I liked Jaime. He was a cool white rapper. Of course, they had to clown him for crying. He did say that after long, sleepless night and the emotion of the moment, he let it out. It's cool. He's alright with me.

Jamirah has a beautiful son named Corey. She was the one that Puff let go because she was pregnant. The baby is TOOOO precious!

Fredrick's girlfriend had a baby also. He is an adorable little baby.

The season is will be FILLED with D-R-A-M-A!! I was too shocked to see how Eliot Ness and Fredrick used to be beating one another down. Now they are like best friends.

I would have loved to hear from Mina. I know she was done after Babs drowned her in the battle.

I was happy to see that Sara's family was so supportive. That's good to know.

Mysterious looks BAD! That girl needs some sort of image consultant or something. I wish that she would have made the group just so she could have gotten a makeover! She looks a hot mess. She could try to take a little bit of pride in her appearance. SHEEESH!

Gina1201 06-04-2003 12:19 PM

I'm liking your sig RedefinedDiva. :)

Anywy, yes both Jamirah and Frederick (surprise) have adorable children. Corey especially when he gave the smile at the end.

Cosign on the Mysterious comment. Everyone else that they showed had their hair done (Pocahantas, etc.), why not Mysterious?? :o

I have a serious issue with Mysterious and her lack of concern about her personal appearance. She really puts absolutely no effort in to making herself look just a tad bit pulled together before she steps on camera. I figured that her hair wouldn't be done, since it never was last season. But, doesn't MTV have some kind of makeup that they use on everyone who appears on camera?? Some pressed powder could do her a world of good.

I understand that she is an orphan and doesn't have much, but she is trying to make it into the entertainment industry where image is everything and talent is an afterthought. I really wish that I could be her personal stylist or image consultant. I could hook Mysterious up!

The jumpoff for season two is TONIGHT @ 10/9 c!!! :D

RedefinedDiva 06-19-2003 12:41 AM

This episode was GREAT! Puff had me ROTFLMAO!! That's what I'm talking about!!

Everyone got a huge head when they were selected. They were out and about doing shows, signing autographs, and isht! Puff put them in their place. They needed to be knocked back down to size. The only person that I was feeling was Sara. Sara has that spirit in her. Everyone else thinks that they have it all together, ESPECIALLY Dylan. He had me looking at him some kinda crazy. He was T-R-I-P-P-I-N-G!! he looks like he is going to be the downfall of the group.

I don't know ANYTHING about NY, but from the sounds and looks of it, Brooklyn is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way from Manhattan (or was it Queens)? Puff was clownin' with that! But guess what? If P. Diddy, one of THE premier producers of our time, wants me to walk from New Orleans East to Mid-City just to prove my hunger, I would be lacing up my G-Nikes RIGHT NOW!

Fredrick was the ringleader bucking it all up, but I see he strapped up his boots and walked.... Like DJ Jubilee says, "Get in line, **!" :p

Gina1201 06-19-2003 01:15 AM

Tonight' show was good, although I didn't like the so-called "hazing" aspect that it had. I agree that everyone came back with a big head. They expected to go right back to the nice house but Puff was NOT hearing that. That's right y'all staying at Best Western. It was kind of messed up that ALL 6 of them had to stay in one room with two twin sized beds. I would have just slept on the floor, but by the looks of it there was no room there either.

Puff also had me DYING when he put Dylan in his place. I don't know why they were complaining in the first place, did they realize how much time they wasted by not wanting to go? By the time everything was said and done it was 4 in the morning.

This season is going to be so full of drama. They already started off on the wrong foot.

I dont know anything about NY but couldn't they have caught the subway to Brooklyn, and 1SD, you're right, if they'd stopped complaining and just gone ahead did the darn thing it wouldn't have been big deal! They all had big heads!!! Especially Frederick, Dylan, and Babs. C'mon, ya'll got picked but there's still alot of work to do!! This season is going to be good and drama filled I can tell already.

Trust me, the distance from Times Square to Brooklyn is very far. A normal person wouldn't dare take that walk unless they had no other way of getting to BK. I was laughing b/c Puffy told them to walk to Junior's, but he didn't say anything about how they should get back to the office. They could've taken the train back - there are more than enough trains at downtown BK (I grew up a few blocks away from Junior's) that they could've taken back into the city. Babs grew up in BK, HC she couldn't tell them what train to take back?

WTH was up with Dylan not wanting to do any of the exercises, or much of anything else? After Puffy did everything in his power to keep him out of jail, he should've been the first one to want to do anything. I didn't quite agree with Puffy blasting Dylan out in the street in front of non-Bad Boy members, but I understood where he was coming from.

My response to Babs who said that Ness wasn't the leader, P. Diddy was: Sweetie, P. Diddy assigned Ness as the group leader. He felt that Ness possessed enough maturity to handle the role. If you don't like it, go back home!!!! That goes for the rest of the group who feel the same way.

This season is guaranteed to be filled with DRAMA, DRAMA, DRAMA FOR YA MOMMA!!!!!
