Sister Soror, when I said moot point, I meant that it's not going to change what happen now. And I since I had a signed contract in hand, I just wanted to clarify for ya....but it's all good. I still love yall.

And as far as the Sigma Gamma Rho vs. SGRho vs. Rho vs. Sigma thing...All I would say about that is consistency...I have had your Sorors not have a problem with it and some who did...so I would say that to each their own...and sorry if I have offended you.

Okay, I usually don't respond to these type of discussions but I personally tired of the hatred.

WE, DIVINE NINE, WERE FOUNDED TO HELP OUR COMMUNITIES TO ADVANCE. What are we doing now? We are fighting over a stepshow that was poor organized by a company that is not afflicated with us.

Yes, BET did a horrible job in organizing this event. So, what do we do about? Angry and putting down another organization is not going to solve the problem.

What avenues can we go about to correct this issue. Could we jointly host an stepshow showcasing our talents? With the stepshow, could there be a information given about each organization's national programs and history (more than just a minute)?

Why don't we use the education that we have received at our institutions of higher learning and create a proposal?

Let's do something jointly. It's somethimes hard to have some outside of your community organize an event when they don't know enough about it.

Some people judge us by what they hear in the news or by movies like School Daze.

There is more we can offer. Instead of fighting, let's come together and create solution to the situation.


DON'T BE PART OF THE PROBLEM. BE PART OF THE SOLUTION.

Good point Virtuosity2001! I have grown soooooo weary of all the bickering. I have so much RESPECT for ALL of the NPHC orgs. (and any other community service org. for that matter) for what they stand for and for what they represent to so many of the communities and lives that they touch around the WORLD. When you look at what we do (or are supposed to be DOING) from this perspective - BET's stepshow seems so small in comparison. In the words of that great gospel group take 6--"Spread Love"!! Only what we do for CHRIST is going to last anyway!!

Let's remain true to our respective organizations mottos -- the rest does not matter!

Just because I post comments in regards to the BET show does not mean I am any less focused on my sororities principles. Get it straight. We can step our buts off and still be at a service project the next morning. ;) And I know this to be true for the other organizations as well, including the ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho. That comment was uncalled for.

sezZeta...hmmmm its not that serious.. like I said I am not a greek, and I dont know all the do's and dont's of what and what not to say...what seems disrespectful and what isnt..Therefore,I am truly sorry if you took offense to what i wrote..I was not pointing any fingers at you or your organization.. I was just speaking my mind,(correct me if Im wrong) which I thought this forum was for..And there is no need to direct me to information because I have done my RESEARCH....Like I said, in no way I was trying to be rude, because that just aint me!!!!

No offense necessarily taken, but as a non-greek it may not be serious to you. I however take Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. VERY seriously. Of course the forum is for people to speak their minds. I'm not disputing that. I'll take your word that you weren't trying to be rude, but than who was it directed towards?

sezZeta...when I said its not that serious..as I was reading ur post I felt some not so good vibes..rather heated..and that it is why I meant its not that serious..I wasnt saying anything else.. and I wasnt directing the comment to ANYONE in particular..considering that I always look through the web..I read MANY posts from different sites, including the BET site, some really rude and shallow about the BET step off..And, because I did my research, I was stating for people not to forget about the service part..thats it...Please, Im not hear to battle, Im here to research, and absorb, Im here as an outsider looking in...And if Im a member of a org. OR not I still have my views and thats all I was doing...having my views and sharing it with you guys...Please lets just squash this..Cause this is not what I wanted my posts to reap... :)
