Here in Central Florida we call it soda. My good friend from New Hampshire calls it pop. Who knows...

(BTW: I hope that it's cool that I post here. If not, that's my bad.)

I tried to pm you but I couldn't. Can you ask him if any of the following last names ring a bell: Strawter, Chandler, Lovette, or Pease. As small as Havana is, nine times out of ten we're probably related one way or the other.

In North Carolinaaaaaaaaaaaa... we say "soda", I hear pop and I'm think 1960's convertible with the glass bottle and funky bottle opener-you know some old guy and his grandchild. If soda isn't used we also call the drink by it's name. I've heard "cold one" a few times. And of course theres always the "Can I have something ta drank" give them water and you get the yuck face.
