I have a soror whose line name is "Sobreviviente", which is the Spanish word for "survivor". It is simple, and a pretty commonly used word in the Greek world, but I really like the way it looks and sounds in Spanish.

I also have a soror whose line name is "Majestuosa", or "majestic". I think her line name is beautiful.

I saw an Alpha with the name "Bobby Drake" which is the X-Men character, Ice Man's, real name.

I thought that was a cool name.

A NUPE from Lambda Theta / Spring 2007 was named SeKond 2 No 1. And there was no 1 on his line. He was obviously a Deuce. His Ace is an Eternal. That name just makes a lot of sense.

Interesting reads. It's always curious to me to hear line name origins. It's also interesting to me to hear how some people can tell what their name might be, or that people actually get to choose a line name. Greekdom is really changing, I tell ya!

My line name is StriKtly because when I was on line, I was strictly business. One of the coolest (funniest) names was given to my Tre. His line name is Klueless. It is self explanatory.

I just named my son, and I gave him the name "Know Kwestion" because there was no question that he had what it took to be a member of this Knoble Klan, and then there were other reasons too...;)

I might be a little biased about this but I have to say my name is the koolest to me...My DP said it was the most fitting name on our line. At my university I was know as the "Kampus Poet" and for some reason people tend to associate writing with coffee houses and drinking cappuccinos and such.Well in my kase it was true so I was named "Kappachino." The "chino" spelling komes from my mixed backrground (black/hispanic).
