Being a farm child, I guess the good Lord has blessed me with a healthy body from working every day of my life. Bucking 100+ pound hay bales in 90 degree weather for 10 and 12 hour s a day has an affect on your entire body. I dont think with the amount of time I spent in the gym while playing sports in H.S. and at school now comes anywhere near the definition and just plain outright brute strength to my body that farming did. Now that I am getting older here is the ol workout routine.
Day 1. Go to work. Stop by farm on way home. Work till dark. Go home, drink beer. Day 2. Go to work. Stop by farm on way home. Work till dark. Go home, drink beer. Day 3. Go to work. Stop by farm on way home. Work till dark. Go home, drink beer. Day 4. Go to work. Stop by farm on way home. Work till dark. Go home, drink beer. Day 5. Go to work. Go to work at bar. Go home, drink beer. Day 6. Farm all day, work at bar at night, go home, drink beer. Day 7. Rest. Beer. My dietery supplements? Any thing edible in the refrigerator, and beer. |
hehe . that's cute KA http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif
btw, anyone take "BodyPump" classes, or have heard of it? I used to live for those weight classes http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif |
KA, dam if your day isn't identical to mine these days except replace the farming with running/working in my garden http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

Hahahahaha, my six pack isn't quite there, but i'm sure by summer's end i'll be sporting rock hard abs. I read somewhere that Janet Jackson does 600 situps a day! As i've said earlier, if I was working shift-work manual labor like I did for the last two summers, this routine wouldn't be possible. KABillyMac Nice. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif Unfourtunately I didn't have the luxury of growing up on a farm. So you gotta make do with whatever works. |

Come and listen to my story about the local crazies Known to us on GC only as the crazy V's Spreading rumors 'n lies from here to kingdom come Till the mods ganged up and put 'em on the run Whackos that is - Resident Psychos and Certified Crazies Well the next thing you know the 'ol bag reappeared Making up user names, as the regulars had feared Spreading more and more lies until we all said "ENOUGH" And the king himself had to get really tough John that is - King of the moderators and GC Land (3rd verse that is omitted from the original TV show) So now what we have is the legend of the V's People start to question and say "Please email me!" XO's are laughing cause they know that its so hokey And the V's have all spent some time in the pokey Jail that is - bad checks and criminal breath [announcer] "THE CRAZY V-BILLYS" (dueling banjos playing in the background as they each appear with their certified mug shots from jail) **Disclaimer - the preceeding is fictional and presented for entertainment purposes only. Similarities between the characters and persons either real or fictitious are purely coincidental. If the shoe fits, you might as well wear it….if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck….you made your bed now lay in it…if you do the crime, then you do the time…if you lay down with dogs, you're bound to get fleas…[okay okay - so these are my favorite "my momma always said…" lines - references to my momma are legit http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/biggrin.gif] |

BillyMac - You are so the man -- you are cracking me up more than ever, and I think the penis size comment was SO funny...and quite possibly true considering the defensive stance that was taken. |

Well All Of You Southern Boys, I am from Missouri, played in the House Harry Truman was born in and my Daddy lived there for a while as My Uncle Evert owned it!
I am not only related to Wyatt Earp, But Robert E. Lee and Andrew Johnson! People still get him mixed up with Andy Jackson! One lived in Nashvile and the other on the East side of the state of Tennessee! Get Tired of your Southern crap. You have no clue what it is! You were just Hatched there and were told stories on you MAMMA's knee! ------------------ Tom Earp LX Z#1 Pittsburg State U. (Kansas) |

Now Tom, step away from the bottle and read that post. Momma didnt have time to tell me stories about big time politics of the South. She was too busy teaching me to drive a tractor. Why didnt Dad do it? Well, he did. But Mom swore she could drive one better..... You can play in all the fancy mansions of wherever, but that still doesnt make you more country than the rest of us. I was probably chassing coon hounds through the woods to make sure they hadnt tree'd an ol possum while you were still reading history novels enjoying a good cup of cappuchino. |
This is one of the funnier threads I've read in a while...ya'll crack me up. And I totally needed it today! I *think* possibly I'm understanding what a V is too...
|
Hey Y'all, I rarely post but I am always on here reading. I just had to tell y'all that I think this has been one of the funniest threads for a while. Thanks for keeping me smiling! http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

BrianMUDU...I really don't wanna look like Arnold Schazenagger so thats why I stick to the major muscle groups. I go about 7am on MWF and MF i do the same things and the only thing i do thats the same of W is bench press and incline/decline barbells. The rest is different...its usually all nautilus. Im not huge guy nor do i wanna be. Lil G...thats a pretty impressive routine you do there. Not many women do that kinda work-out.
Im usually slack during the school year myself, but i have a month over x-mas and 4 months over the summer to do it. I don't know if you have access to a decent size pool or not, but you should try swimming laps on day 4 for like a quarter mile at first and then slowly work it up to half a mile. It shouldn't take you more than 25-30 min to swim a quarter. But it sounds like you got a good schedule set up. Thats pretty funny your hooked on hydroxycuts cause a couple days ago, they had a guy at the world gym trying to sell that stuff. So does it work for you?? I've never really met anyone who's taken it. I've heard of celltech, but people tell me its not all its talked up to be. Im really not into suppliments that much..i don't like putting stuff into my body that i have no clue what its about or possible side effects. I used to drink Aminofuel, but gosh that stuff is nasty. haha but i don't think im a poster boy for men's health. A guy i train with a couple times a week is though. He's sponsered by powerbar and he is awesome...but he gets paid to be awesome so if my career was triathlons then i'd be doing what he does too. I don't know what my body fat % is. I did it a couple years ago and it was 6%...not high probably because im a sucker for anything chocolate..especially 3 muskateers! :-) That and slurpees...can't go to the beach without stopping to get one on the way home. Thats my achille's heel i guess. KAbillymac...whats your beer of choice. When i drink its either Corona, dos equis or fosters. I like Groulsch too but its hard to find here. |
