I also thought Stanford.
And don't get me wrong, the re-/colonization of chapters at Columbia, Duke, Michigan and Washington U. St. Louis all make me extremely happy! I would just also like Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT, Stanford, UPenn, Vanderbilt, etc. :D /end hijack |
I knew that Rob Lowe's sons went to Duke and Stanford...guessed wrong...I can see from t*p's other posts that she goes to Stanford. I'd also love to see our Mu chapter recolonized at Stanford!

I should not have mentioned this thread to my Pi Phi daughter, who goes to a top liberal arts school, and who felt compelled to "rub it in."

We have Dartmouth and Cornell chappies. :D

My daughter is going through recruitment this fall, and one of her high school buddies is the son of the (Inter)National President of one of the sororities my daughter will visit. She graciously wrote a letter for my daughter. Daughter is a legacy to this sorority through my mother-in-law (who has been too ill to write her a legacy rec), so we were thrilled to have the seal of approval from its president.

Not quite the President, Jack Kemp's daughter went through recruitment ("rush" then) at Miami University in 1980. She pledged DG. Miami, being a pretty conservative campus, rolled out the red carpet for her and turned her into a celebrity. Two years later, her sister also pledged DG at Miami.

^^^ That would have been very exciting! I met Senator Kemp when Ole Miss hosted firing line back in 1989 or 1990. I so wanted him to win the Presidency.
