Makers Mark bottles- I have the blue wax top, the denim label, UT orange wax top, the red, white, and blue wax top and the red on blue/blue on red UK and UofL bottles. Its a slight obsession.

All Remington Arms- I have every gauge shotgun in the 1100 semi auto series except for one, 28 gauge. I wanted a 28 so bad that finally I just went out one day and bought a 28 frenchi side by side. Good little gun. I have 3 calibers in the 700 series rifle too, 30-06, .270, and the new .260 bobcat.

Diawa reels- This is something I watch and trade for constantly. I usually try to trade in the Procaster and TD series. I love those 2 reels. I have 12 of em right now on rods, all waiting for the first week of 60 degree weather around here.

Masonic Stuff- This really isnt as bad as it was when I was first raised. Since im Templar and 32 degree both I tend to pick up alot of pins, coins, tie tacs, rings, and what not.

Old Craftsman tools and Stihl chainsaws- I havent gotten into the saws really yet but I have 2 Stihl saws and would like to find some old ones to cleanup and restore.

1967-1972 Chevrolet trucks- THis is my dad and I both. He has a 72 that he bought new in 72 and has drove it ever since last year when he bought a z71. I love this series truck so much I went and bought a 4x4 70 model from a junkyard and am currently restoring it on rainy days. I will post pics when she is done. Thats actually my pride and joy right now.

Blue Heeler Stuff- I dont find much of it but if any of you see anything with Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) on it, let me know and I will send you some money. I could care less what it is either.

John Deere Toys- Im not even gonna go into this one, but there is alot of green at my place.

And of course Confederate trappings.

I go a little overboard sometimes.

Breyer model horses -- been doing that since i was very young

Every time i travel somewhere i buy a beanie baby. i have most of the birds now(i am a poultry science major). This started when i was in high school -- loooooong before they became a fad. I traveled a lot thru 4-H so i have a LOT of beanies!!

I also have a tiny shot glass collection but its slowly growing

Stress animals - you know those squishy things that companies give away as promotional items i have several chickens, a duck, a pig, and a holstein cow, and a brain from a pharaceutical company

I love Gone with The Wind stuff!!

And i collect anything that has to do with chickens, except the live animal or its byproducts ;)

I really do not think that there is anything that I collect. I used to collect Disney's The Little Mermaid stuff while in high school, but all of that stuff is in boxes in the attic. I guess now all that I really collect is A-Phi stuff.

I build and collect victorian dollhouses. I've been building and collecting them for over 15 years.

This was my very first one. I still have it, but I painted mine blue.

My husband & I have a ridiculously large collection of books (fiction & non-fiction). I also collect Raggedy Ann dolls; my grandmother has been collecting them for years, and once I joined OPhiA, I started collecting them as well.

A couple of my dolls:

This isn't the same as a lot of your collections, but I always keep hotel keys of wherever I stay as souvenirs. I think it's a cool way to see all the places I've gone.

Senusret I 06-10-2011 08:30 PM

Books
Tarot Decks
Shot glasses from states/cities I've been to (crap, I forgot Pittsburgh!)
Paddles and other wooden fraternal items
Enemies

As a child, I used to collect crystals (will still purchase a nice one every now and then) and coins.

My parents had a rather large swizzle stick collection that is now mine. It makes me wish bars still did cool stuff like that.

honeychile 06-10-2011 08:49 PM

^ LOL! My parents had one, too, but got rid of it when my daddy went "dry". I especially loved a cool set of flamingos they had.

I collect books (too much), crystal snowflakes, and used to collect bunnies. Once I realized that I had literally thousands of bunnies, I started re-homing them. I did keep the Royal Doulton ones, though.

I also used to collect Beatle albums. Not cds, because I was going for the cover art, which really doesn't translate well to cds. I literally owned every Beatle album made in the USA, and several other from around the world. But the best part is that, earlier this year, I found out that one of them is worth well over $15,000 - sounds like a good profit to me!

LOL

I collect neckties, I have way too many it's obscene. I also collect crazy socks. Basically, I'm a clotheshorse.

christiangirl 06-10-2011 10:30 PM

I collect shot glasses. My goal is to have one from every state. Whenever I fly, I pick up one from the aiport if it's a state I am visiting (or layover-ing) for the first time. I have about 16 I think.

psusue 06-10-2011 10:58 PM

I used to collect tshirts from places I'd been, but I gave a lot away recently.

Currently I collect:
-Tea/coffee mugs from places I've visited (as an avid tea/coffee drinker, you really can never have enough, especially since they break)
-Foreign money (again started when I began traveling, I figure I can always exchange it back if I need to)
-Tri Sigma badges (okay collecting is a bit of an overstatement as I have two, but this collection will hopefully grow soon)
-Mementos (This is my least useful but largest collection by far. Think every program/ticket stub from most every movie and play I've pretty much ever been to, old notes people have written me, special cards--I finally threw out every generic birthday card I've ever gotten-- little tokens from different places I've visited. It's seriously out of hand. Think a four foot by three foot by two foot drawer in my room-- that's 24 cubic feet of crap. I keep thinking that eventually I'll make a scrapbook out of it all, but it'd have to be several for all the stuff I have.)
-Boy's hearts-- I kid, I kid. :D

I would have thought cover art would translate well from LP to CD, given that both covers are square.

I wish I had an intentional collection! I have lots of crap!

I used to collect Happy Meal toys when I was younger. Umm, I have a weird thing about notebooks. I have at least 5 blank notebooks/notepads that i bought or given to me and have yet to be written in.

Used to collect those gel pens that were all the rage circa 2000-2002. Oh, and Pogs circa 1994.

This thread reminds me of one of the books we read to the kids: http://www.amazon.com/Puddle-Pail-Pi.../dp/0140565213

pam713 06-10-2011 11:37 PM

I collect oil cans (yes, like the Tin Man needs) and world globes. I don't have any super old globes but the ones from before WWII are pretty interesting to look at.

Totally did both of those collections. Especially had a TON of pens.

I collect Play Boy mags. I have quite a few classic Hustler mags too.

Tulip86 06-11-2011 07:19 AM

I collect:
-Books
-Fridge magnets of all the places I've been. (rapidly growing)
-Sunglasses - love them and always try to find cool vintage ones
