I wear mine every time I dress up nice and don't plan on having any alcohol.

That includes work, church, meetings...

Every time I see someone else wearing their badge it makes me jealous and want to have mine on also.

We got scrub pants this year and I just love mine - they're SO comfy. They have a fleur-de-lis on the leg, and above that they say Kappa Kappa Gamma and below the fleur-de-lis they say Epsilon Zeta. They're basically inside pants, but I wear mine to Voice class because everyone wears PJs because we do a lot of rolling around on the floor and stuff. :)

My favorite is by far my Badge. I take great pride in wearing it, and if I know I am going to be dressed up, be it at home, on vacation, or at school, I have my badge with me. I was on a cruise in the carribean, and dressed up for dinner every night. The first night I was there wearing my badge, I got stopped in the hallway. I met a man from the southwest US, whom was in Sigma Nu, and recognized my badge.

Right now, since my Son(aka little brother, we use a father/son system, instead of big/little), has my badge, and will have my badge until HQ sends him his. Granted, when I know I'm going to be dressing up, and he isn't, he said he'd make sure to get it back to me for the day, so I don't feel so naked!

Definitely my lavalier! I never was able to scrounge up the money for one during college, so during my alumni ceremony, one of my sisters gave me one!! I've almost never taken it off since!

Badges, beleive it or not, are not actually that big in my sorority, or at least not within my chapter. I never even got mine until I was active for over a year due to a mix up at nationals, so I guess I never really bonded with it. My pledge pin is very important to me though.

Otherwise, I would have to say it's a tie between my first letter sweatshirt, that my big gave to me at initiation, or our homecoming shirts from two years ago, that have Omicron Phi Chapter University of Wisconsin Whitewater Delta Omicron in that athletic-wear style, except our DO letters are in the middle instead of the XL or whatever

(that made no sense)

My favorite is the letters that I got with my big. We decided to take a trip to Depauw (there really isn't anywhere close to get letters in Indianapolis) and get matching letters. They remind me of the drive and how much fun we had just talking and goofing off! :D

I would have to say it is definetly my lavalier! I got it from my little for my big sis present after she was initiated. It replaced the one I gave her that I got from my big. I wear mine 24/7 along with my family pearl charm that I got from my grand big. Everyone in our family has the same pearl charm, it is the grand bigs responsability to get it, so I always feel special that not only do I have my sorority so close to my heart but my soror family who I love as well!

That's easy.... my badge! It's such an honor to wear it!

It WILL be one of these as soon as I decide (and get enough money to afford one of them).

I like the first one. I think the simplicity of the onyx is nice. Too many different jewls on a badge tends to make it look like a christmas tree.

I agree.. it's a little too much. Also pearl and onyx will go with whatever suit/tie I'm wearing at the time. I can see where emeralds might clash.

Sometimes I worry about letting him out of the house without a quick once over to make sure he's not a complete embarrassment. He's gotten better over the years... but to have him actually talk about suits/ties and matching gems.... never... That's what I get for marrying an island boy!

I see some people who wear their fraternity badges with teeshirts, and I cringe every time.

We HAVE to be wearing tie, and I belive suitcoat(for me, if I'm wearing a tie, I wear a suit/suitcoat.) If you are going to dress up, you might as well look good! I think the badge is a wonderful and beautiful thing. I'd want it to look good. I get many compliments when I wear my badge, though most people have no idea what it is at first.

I totally agree with that statement!!!

My favorite used to be my lavalier. The senior class got one for every person in my initiation class, and it was the sweetest thing. But I lost it about a year ago and haven't gotten another to replace it. Since then, my badge has been my favorite. When I was out of school, I found excuses to dress up and wear it and people would always compliment me and ask about it. It makes me so proud everytime I wear it and I love knowing that each of my sisters takes that same pride.

My lavalier that was huge was my favorite item, but then I lost it.
Then it was my Sigma Nu drop that my bf dropped me with - but then I lost that too (And it was gold :( ).
Right now it's my Owl pendant that I got the day I pledged ~ I lost it and a year later I found it! So I wear it all the time.
My other favorite is my Chi O Flip-Flops ~ It's a must and an always! Regardless of whatever or wherever I am, I always have something - even if it's small to represent my sorority! :D

My badge, it's white gold with pearls and emeralds it is a pendent that is on a short necklace, super cute and I too stand a little taller when I wear it.

My favorite thing to wear is my lavelier. It was passed down to me from my Big Sister and it's several generations old. I'm one of the few in the sorority who has one of this size and design.

My favorite item is the Messenger Bag with our Greek letters embroidered on it and it has the full name written out in cursive underneath. It is so cool,a black bag with pink writing.

As much as I love my badge, I'd still have to say my sweatshirt letters. It's a navy sweatshirt with red and white gingham with small strawberries in the gingham fabric, very cute! I got them for Christmas from my aunt and I love wearing letters because walking around campus showing ZTA pride is just great and God knows we need more of that here at Mason. Zeta check...!
