I will officially take all shit I'm due :( But we're not out of it yet! Nobody thought this series would be over in 4. Tomorrow is another day.

I do. Ya know, just like when the Giants won the World Series in a 4-game sweep...less than 1,000 days ago. ;)

NinjaPoodle 10-21-2014 11:50 PM

lol! Day 1

AZTheta 10-22-2014 10:11 AM

Where are our Royals fans this morning? I'm enjoying ORANGE juice while wearing my BLACK robe.

And doing a search for those shoelaces PKT shared. Must have.

One down, three to go.

DubaiSis 10-22-2014 10:22 AM

Waaaaaaah!!!! And made worse, the only blue I have left to wear is a print that includes dark blue light blue and ORANGE. But a sea of blue didn't work yesterday, so maybe throwing in a little orange will confuse the fates.

Tonight I'm getting a pedicure (at home, with the girlfriends) during the game. Maybe focusing on girly stuff will change the odds. At least it will be less depressing.

Tom Earp 10-22-2014 01:46 PM

Giant sweep isn't happening!

Giant pitcher I admit was awesome. Sheilds was off.

Now on to game 2!!!

Just remember, Royals beat Oakland in play oof. Then swept the orioles and Angels! How dat for playing Base Ball?:)

AZTheta 10-22-2014 06:09 PM

That was then, Tom. This is now.

Play ball!

Hunter Pence rocks!

Just a little trivia about Hunter. I saw him in Spring 2007 at the Round Rock Express games. At that time RR was the affiliate for the Houston Astros.
Look at him now with the Giants and kicking butt.

AZTheta 10-22-2014 06:39 PM

Hunter Pence.

Tom…where ARE you? Do I have to use smilies to get you to come out and play?

DubaiSis 10-22-2014 11:01 PM

AZTheta, I'm cut to the core that you weren't worried about where I was.
And after an evening of pedicures and wine I am watching the, what? ROYALS WINNING!

AZTheta 10-22-2014 11:36 PM

DubaiSis, I knew you were okay. And congrats on a very nice win tonight! See you Friday night?

(I won't comment on the pedicures and wine, unless you got Orange and Black polish)

DubaiSis 10-23-2014 12:01 AM

I have a DATE Friday night, so while I will be watching the game, I won't be chitter-chatting here :) If I AM on here, you can quietly feel very bad for me.

The broadcasters are soooooo awful. The local sports bimbo (really, shouldn't that be the title for that girl, the blond dingbat who does the sports color) said the fans are just as responsible for the win as the players. I think some baseball moms who took their sons to hours and hours and hours of practice, the coaches, managers, trainers, doctors, and on and on might argue about that. The fans MIGHT be enjoying the win as much, but no, we are not responsible for the win.

Sis, all true in second paragraph!:D But the crowd sure help keep the boys rock and roll!!

While some say that they left their heart in San Francusco, I am Goining To Kansas City and win here for The Royals FANS Kansas City!

Any Giants fan wearing their colors for Holloween?

StealthMode 10-23-2014 07:36 PM

This is what happens when I get sick. I fell asleep and wasn't there to cheer my my team on! That won't happen again!

Tom Earp 10-25-2014 09:46 AM

Yea Royals for win game 3!! Royals win 2 of three so Royals can back to K C to win series!

BTW, hope you folks in San Fran enjoy the rain we sent your way!!!!

AZTheta 10-25-2014 11:00 AM

I wondered when you would show up, Tom. Don't go counting those chickens yet. Still have four more games. We like to win in the bottom of the ninth in game 7. Want the fans to feel they got their $'s worth, you know!

DubaiSis, hope your date was worth missing the game. Tell me that won't happen again, right?

Play ball!

DubaiSis 10-25-2014 01:08 PM

So, so bad. The good news is I got to see the game. The bad news is I made spaghetti sauce all the way from scratch, including blanching and peeling fresh organic tomatoes and fresh herbs, Italian sausage from Whole Foods, the whole shot, and he flaked. There's more to the story than that but let's leave it at it's a good thing I'm a pacifist.

Do I have to get screwed over in order for the Royals to win? If so, I guess I will take my lumps.

AZTheta 10-25-2014 01:21 PM

Throw him back in the sea, move on to the next one. That's my best advice.

DubaiSis 10-25-2014 01:33 PM

And, done. Just because you said so. I got an apology, of sorts, at quarter to 5 this morning. I'm waiting for the flowers and singing telegrams.

AZTheta 10-25-2014 01:38 PM

No. Just, no. You don't have that kind of time. Trust me on this.

Now, play ball! Can't wait for tonight's game.

ETA: I spend 48 hours making my nonna's marinara sauce, from scratch, you damned well better show up EARLY to eat. Or you are in my rear view mirror for eternity.

DubaiSis 10-25-2014 01:55 PM

I am a VERY good cook and don't cook for just anyone. He's really lucky I didn't go with the dish I was originally thinking of, boeuf bourgignon, which takes a serious amount of time. Then you really would be seeing me on the news for having gone postal on his ass.

StealthMode 10-25-2014 04:22 PM

Sounds like you need to head over to D&R for storytime.

Seriously, that stinks. I'm sorry you had that experience. :(

DubaiSis 10-25-2014 06:48 PM

In better news, I'm going on a walk with a girlfriend with our destination being a bar to watch the game. Go Royals! Then I can walk off the margaritas and call the whole thing healthy.

Here are some more pretty pictures in blue. http://www.kansascity.com/sports/mlb...le3350971.html

TonyB06 10-25-2014 07:39 PM

Little League sensation Mo'ne Davis is throwing out the first pitch for tonight's game, which is way cool. After that, it's back to college football.

AZTheta 10-26-2014 12:10 AM

All right, then: series is 2-2. Two more games at a minimum. I'm thinking it's gonna go the full 7.

NinjaPoodle 10-26-2014 12:11 AM

On to game 5!! Whoo Hoo! GOOooooooo GIANTS!

NinjaPoodle 10-26-2014 12:25 AM

Hey! Steve Perryis a Giants Fan. https://scontent-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hpho...c2&oe=54E0B46B

summer_gphib 10-26-2014 09:13 PM

Rest in Peace, Oscar Teveras. We shared a birthday (different year of course), and I got to see you play in Spring Training this year. What a great loss of life. :(

DubaiSis 10-26-2014 09:29 PM

This game is gonna do me in. As it is, I've walked away to change my sheets, start a load of laundry, I think I'm gonna have to mop my kitchen floor. Anything to keep from sitting here feeling like I'm gonna have a heart attack. Didn't I used to LIKE this game?

AZTheta 10-26-2014 09:38 PM

Hang tough. It ain't over until it's over. A lot can happen tonight. It's early. This is what we love, this is what we live for - great baseball.

NinjaPoodle 10-26-2014 11:22 PM

LET'S GO GIANTS! 5 zip!

StealthMode 10-26-2014 11:31 PM

3 DOWN, 1 TO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :D

PKT4LIFE 10-27-2014 01:22 PM

1 game away!!!!!

AZTheta 10-27-2014 03:22 PM

Ah...Mad Bum. That was a beautiful game; he is a class act.

We will always be Giants, we will never be Royals.

How beautiful! In photo 20 ^^^ at American Century twin towers, do they always have the crown designs in their architecture at the top or is that special for the World Series?

The tops are always there but they're not normally blue, so not distinguishable especially at night. Everyone has pulled out all the stops to support the Royals!

PKT4LIFE 10-28-2014 08:20 PM

You could feel the tension in the air today here in SF. It felt as if the entire city was holding their breath.

NinjaPoodle 10-29-2014 01:04 AM

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu............

yeah. That's how I felt. Game 6. It's on! :)
