This is to good a topic to let it waste away down the line!
I find it GREAT the number of people who have listed thier schools! I like to get on Greek Pages and see what that schools Greek System looks like and who is on campus! I have been to other Schools and met not only Brothers from my Fraternity, but members of other Fraternitys. I find it very refreshing to talk to any fellow Greek Member! They have ideas that I can relate to my House for the betterment of the greek system! ------------------ Tom Earp LX Z#1 Pittsburg State U. (Kansas) |
Indiana University of Pennsylvania Alum here! Please refer to SigTauJake's post below for further info as I am being lazy at the moment. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif

It is so Great to see the run on this thread!!! Unfortunetly greekpages.com is not up and running so to could see what Greek Life is at other schools.
My almamater is a tuff campus as we just lost KD and have only 3 AGD, ASA, SSS on campus with a enrolement of @ 6,500. There are 5 Fraternitys on campus and it is tuff for all! These are all Nat. and STG being what use to be a small school Greek is growing around the country! WE NEED MORE GREEKS! In My previous travels with companies, I was fortunate to meet Brothers and Greeks around the country as if had a chance would stop at the local LXA Chapter and meet the Brothers! God what a great feeling it is to meet young men and women who will be in the world of running the country! ------------------ Tom Earp LX Z#1 Pittsburg State U. (Kansas) |

sisterplum, Congrats! Hope all the best for your future!
Hope you find this a fun thread! Ain't it great to find people! I think this is one of the best sites I have ever seen other than greekpages.com that is not working rite now! It is Great to see what other Greeks are doing as I have been out of the college academia scene since 1967. But I am still involved in my local chapter and International Fraternity! I have met many Brothers from various sites including ebay in the bid wars as we all want to keep our Badges protected. I dropped bidding so other Brothers could get them for thier houses! Best of all and see you on the site! ------------------ Tom Earp LX Z#1 Pittsburg State U. (Kansas) |

Ohio University, Athens, Ohio. Delta Tau Delta's oldest continuous chapter -- Beta.
See Matt Lauer's story on Ohio University from the TODAY Show at www.msnbc.com/news/577498.asp#BODY Has nothing to do with Greeks, but is a nice story about the univesity. |
DGPhoney, I hope the LXA chapter was one of them! They are on back on campus getting re-institued after having been taken off campus!
I have met # 7 in cyber and he and I have close feelings since I am # 1. We understand what it is to start something! It aint to hard, BUTT! We are all in the same boat trying to keep our Houses going because of the PC of campuses! Without US there would not only be much of a homecoming but any thing else!!!!! ------------------ Tom Earp LX Z#1 Pittsburg State U. (Kansas) |

Tom...
Yea it is a great time for Sig Tau. We are doing so amazing here at IUP. We doubled our numbers in one year, we chartered, and we moved to a house right off of Fraternity Row, on the main street at IUP. It is so exciting, we are on our way to being IUP's strongest and biggest fraternity again. We had that title from 1930 to 1986. We pledged 90+ guys in four semesters in the 1950's. We have a huge philanthropy event with Delta Zeta planned for the fall, and we are getting ready to take this campus by storm. |
Well fellow Chatters, greekpages is back up and running! Got E-m from them and I checked! Good to go!
Know can check out the different Schools out and see how compares to the old Pitt. ------------------ Tom Earp LX Z#1 Pittsburg State U. (Kansas) |

I was a Sig Tau at U of I. I think we've spoken before...my user name used to be "Alumnus who cares" but I changed it.
I assume your last post contained a typo and that you really don't "hate" lots of Greek and non-Greek friends at U of I. : ) |

Hey ees125, I have a Brother who is Head of a Department at PSU! Do you know of a Dr. Joe Cecere? Also have a Brother going there for Grad work! How Is the LXA House there?
Dont feel bad if it is negative as we all know not all houses are good on every campus! ------------------ Tom Earp LX Z#1 Pittsburg State U. (Kansas) |
finest_alum: When did your brother go here? I assume he was a fiji. All my friends are the athletes here so there might be a chance I knew him.
IowaHawkEye: Every department at UChicago is like top 5 in the country. The med school is like top 10. If you want info on any of the grad schools, just send me a heads up. The law school and business school generally have people making insane amounts of money. Hopefully I'll land a great job after graduating and make 125 in investment banking or consulting like a couple of our graduating brothers did this year. |
Marist College here and a proud brother of the Zeta Psi fraternity
|
Lock Haven University of PA. It's part of the State System of Higher Education (SSHE) here in PA. We only have 4000 students. On LHU's campus, we have 4 NPC sororities, and 6 IFC fraternities.
The mascot is the Bald Eagles. |
Sam Houston State University = Bearkats ! (yesit is kats with a K;) )
