I think it can be boiled down to something else too. TRUST. If you don't trust your guy to go to a restaurant with "Delightfully tacky" decor then there may be either a trust or insecurity issue. If you trust your guy, then why worry about what his visual aids are during a meal or drink?

That might be the gayest thing to get mad over that I've ever heard. You mean to tell me that there are chicks out there who get pissed just because a guy who wants some beer and wings is served by soem chick with nice tits? how insecure is that????

If I had the money I'd start a Hooters here in Mo-town. It would do a shitload of business and theres no shortage of hot chicks to work there.

I would be more worried if Mr. 33 went to Raisins, than to Hooters. :p

I don't care when he goes to strip clubs with the boys, why would I care about Hooters?

i wouldn't mind. i'd prolly go with him. i've gone to some strip clubs with him also. i don't like chicks, but the girls flrit with me :eek: it's entertainging. the only thing is that girls will dance for me, and then you get all the guys staring at you now cause the whole girl on girl thing :rolleyes: which is the part that freaks me out. i'll watch, but i don't like interacting.

LOL, I don't even think I know anybody who goes to Hooters. Chain restaurants like that never have very good food.

The wings are actually quite tasty!

On a semi-related note, I really hated those damn pantyhose we had to wear. They make your legs look like shiny, beige sausages

I saw that on my drive from Tampa to O-town over Easter. Too funny!

My ex went to a Hooters on LI the last day of his summer job and it was also the day before another employee got hitched. I'm told there was some behavior I wouldn't have enjoyed knowing about so I left well enough alone. As long as there's no touching I'm fine with looking! I'd go to a restaurant where the male waitors wore Speedos :)

I certainly wouldn't go to a restaurant where the waiters wore Speedos - yuck! I think only .00001% of the male population can get away with that!

On the Hooter's topic though - no big deal. I don't think it's any reason to get mad just because your boyfriend or husband goes there. Actually, I would probably go too (if it wasn't just a guys night) because I like to check out other women too!

It's usually a fun place. The girls there are friendly and not in that annoying way of constantly asking how your food is. Truthfully, in Chicago the girls that work there are not pretty. They look like they could be dime store hookers and most of them don't have hooters. In Schaumburg, it's very different. I also went to one in florida (Ft Lauterdale maybe?) and they were pretty but looked like they came from broken homes.

What do I get when I go? Chicken, 3 mile island, and I use up that roll of paper towels like none other.

Hands down, the funniest damn thing I've heard all day!

My boyfriend goes to Hooters with his guy friends at least like once every month or two. He says he goes because they make a good grilled cheese, but I beg to differ. Ha! In the end, I know he's coming home to me, so I really don't think anything of it.

as a guy who met his current girlfriend at hooters i see nothing wrong with going there. The place has decent food and atmosphere, yes the girls are a large part of the atmosphere. But do you trust your boyfriend enough to talk to other girls or are you seriously that jealous. If you truly think he is going to drop you for a waitress there are more things you should be dealing with than him going to hooters.
