LET'S STOP THE MARIAH HATING AND BASHING!

WHY ARE YOU GUYS HATING ON OLE GIRL.

FROM A MALE'S PROSPECTIVE, I THOUGHT SHOW WAS TIGHT!

MARIAH HAD A ENTIRE SHOW DEDICATED TO HER. MOST BLACK ARTISTS ONLY GET ONE PART OF THE SHOW.

LET'S BE GLAD FOR HER AND CELEBRATE HER ACCOMPLISHMENTS!

ChaosDST 02-18-2002 10:19 PM

I like MTV Cribs. Sometimes it can be TOO materialistic (but it's MTV Cribs, what do I expect :)). Mariah is off da hook. I love her music, but I think she's a little looney (she acted like a little girl living in a big doll house). I think she needs to be committed (and I'm not talking about a relationship).

Seriously though, I agree with ATL, no Mariah-hatin'--we're just Mariah-observing (that the girl is SPESSHHHHAL).

lil_sunshine 02-19-2002 02:29 PM

The Cash Money Millionnaires' house was....

Just as I totally expected; extravagant and full of the bling-bling!!! :p I remember seeing some of their house on the BET show, "How I'm Livin'." I thought the jacuzzi in the living room was a hot mess and I'm still wondering why Lil' Weezey has like three bedrooms just for the project chicks he entertains. I wonder if his daughter will ever know about all of them girlies her daddy's "friends" with. And I'm still curious about why they got all of them wheels. There ain't that many of them CMM's so what's the deal with all that!?!?! Oh my....

CrimsonTide4 06-01-2002 04:04 PM

Yeah I'm Hating

I am watching the CRIBS marathon and I just saw Lil Romeo's house. Now first of all -- what 12 year old YOU KNOW who lives alone? What 12 year old YOU KNOW needs a BENZ?

House was nice, not all gold and all that jazz. Looks like a "normal" celeb house. But umm for real DO (though), what his little azz need with a car he can't drive yet?

I saw NO BOOKS in that house!!!
That mofo had way too many tennis shoes. GIVE ME SOME!!!

Yeah girl you hatin:), but I remember this episode and I said the same thing...what in the hell does he need with a car that he can't drive. My thing is this, if he lives in this house, and his mom does the cooking for him...who the hell lives in Master P's house with him?

I'm with you, I didn't notice not a damn book in the joint.

thesweetestone 06-02-2002 05:04 PM

I was watching that marathon yesterday too! I liked Ally Landry's bed that she had outside. I bet you could nap really good out there.

I like MTV Cribs. I like to see the interior designs/home decor. I'm really into that type of stuff. My favorite house is Missy Elliot. Whoever designed her house, definitely has my taste. The large, double sided fish tank, the double sided fire place, the bathrooms, the indoor movie theatre.... everything was just lovely, and designed so elegantly.

Come on yall, if we all had the money like they do, yall know we would be bling-blinging as well  Stop the hatin', stop the hatin' ;)

12dn94dst 06-03-2002 09:14 AM

I liked missy's house as well. My favorite part of her house, other than the fish tanks, was her mini ball/dining room. Very nicely done.

I would be blinging with BOOKS, ART, MUSIC, MOVIES.
No lie, if I get rich I do want a movie theatre in my house that plays DVD on a big screen or something.

I would want my house to be comfortable and welcoming to my guests. I would definitely have a Crimson and Cream Delta Dream Room. :D

Oh yes!! That ball/dining room was absolutely gorgeous.

:) Hello!!

I did see one of the "New Cribs" last night! Cee-Lo from the Goodie Mob! I liked his home because it seemed real...Not too much and yet different! The kitchen was a bright yellow and I loved it...The Bedroom was simple yet elegant!

Now about Mariah....all that changing was not necessary...she has issues!

I really liked Jerry Stackhouse crib from last season, along with Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jayson Williams has too much land...but if you are country then you want a lot of land!!! Missy house was tight also....I liked Nelly's fish tanks! Lil Romeo does need some books in his house instead of games...and he needs to donate all those shoes he could have had a room built for to some kids!

I LOVED Earnhardt's place... It looked as if he had a club in his house. Lil Romeo has too much, for a child his age. He didn't have ONE book, no rooms for studying, nothing that a child SHOULD have. The only thing I saw for small children, in his home, was for his little sister to "come over and visit".
Visit a child at HIS home???!!

I liked Cee Lo's house as well. I love the HECK out of their book case. They have it on this season's Real World too. Their house was of the live in style. I love the way he and his wife presented the house. It was not bling bling but book book and movies. :D

I saw parts of Nelly's house last night from one of the reruns and I liked it too. It was not gaudy but it had some good features.

CrimsonTide4 02-15-2003 08:50 PM

Jsut saw Trick Daddy's crib. . . liked the Scarface room and Dolphins room.

I was too through at his 75 Chevrolet Caprice that was trimmed in Red Louis Vuitton.

Today @ 11:30 AM EST and 6:00PM EST . . .I just checked. On the whole his house was really nice. I just did not need to see all of the snacks in his fridge and pantry.

They will be featuring Missy's Miami pad on Wednesday @ 10:00p.m.

SkeeWee14 02-19-2003 11:49 PM

Gary Payton had a nice house too (but his wife looked like a crackhead...especially after he pushed her in the pool). My husband, Donovan McNabb, had a decent house but he could certainly use my touch. Also the young men in the group B2K had nice houses too. One of them didn't have a refrigerator yet he was riding around in a Benz. Evidently he figured out a way to hook up some gourmet tires and rims with some Moet motor oil. Must be nice.

My sentiments exactly. My problem came when he talked about how you won't get REAL Louis Vuitton on Canal Street in NYC. Now that's a lie b/c they have real name brand merchandise there. The thing is, being that his home grown @$$ is ghetto as all get up, he probably thinks that you have to spend hella $$$$$ to get good quality merchandise. Not true Sir Ghetto-a-Lot!!! :p

MeezDiscreet 10-06-2003 11:57 PM

did anyone see shaq's house tonight? it was nice but if i were his wife (btw, she's adorable), i wouldn't be able to stomach that superman emblem all over the place. and the neutral look is cool and all but i would have to havbe some color SOMEWHERE!

and the whole episode, i was waiting on him to mention the frat. when he was showing off his shoes, i was like "where's the gold boots?" when he finally showed the jersey and barked, i was like "it's about time bruh!!!!"

Gina1201 10-07-2003 10:08 AM

I saw it. I posted a thread over on AKA Ave. because I did a search and I found nothing. :o Yes, I am not a good searcher. Anyway, I think the Superman everywhere was a bit much. I mean dang, even on the shower doors. His wife said the reason there was a lack of color was because she's not good at color coordination.

nikki1920 10-07-2003 10:50 AM

Shaq's house

 at all the Superman stuff, but I loved the neutral theme (I cant match colors either!) lol!!!!

I WANT THAT BED!!! lol

And his wife looked REALLY nice, but I am mad that his house was the whole hour of Cribs.. lol

MeezDiscreet 10-07-2003 11:18 AM

it really isn't too hard to put some colors together. find some fabric you like with print or pattern and just go from there. with all of that neutral all over the place, i would feel like i was at a shrink's office

Shaqologist checks in

Yes, if I were Mrs. Shaunie O'Neal, I'd be a little disconcerted about the Superman logo being all over the place. But maybe she remembers who's paying the bills. :p Also, I was surprised at the cigar and the wine rooms. I've read that Shaq is a very rare social drinker; maybe it's for his guests.

The kids are cute.:)

And I was also waiting for Shaq to reference Omega. I figured he'd do it, but it was a question of when.

I've never seen any accounts in the Los Angeles papers or anywhere indicating if Amira, who Shaq and Shaunie call "Mimi," has Down syndrome.

I think she lives with her mom, who was Shaq's fiancee at the beginning of his career. And Shaunie does look well in shape after four babies.

prayerfull 10-07-2003 04:11 PM

I'm digging the crib. That house was in Florida though...do they all live out in LA during the season? Just wonderin'. If I was living like Shaunie is, I wouldn't trip not one bit about the Superman logos. The estate was very nice and tastefully decorated. I was trippin' on the whole bar area though....it looked like they had a bartender, guests, etc. in there. I like them as a married couple. They SEEM to work well together. Are those ALL their kids...TOGETHER...

Shareef, Amira and Shaqir are Shaq and Shaunie's kids together. Myles is Shaunie's son by a previous situation. Shaq considers Myles his son.

SteelTrap you are tripping me out with all this knowledge on your man. Ok, I was wondering if the 4 kids were all with Shaq and Shaunie......uummm you can tell that Myles is not Shaq's biological son because he has a normal name....ok I'm just kidding SteelTrap I know that's your man:), but all his kids have you know...clearing my throat :) different names.

Yup, I have great knowledge on the Diesel. :D

But I will also say that Shareef and Amira are known Arabic names, as is Shaquille. Now Shaqir, I'm not so sure about...:p

CrimsonTide4 10-11-2003 05:31 PM

Watching now. . .

Shaunie is beautiful. The house is wonderful. A little plain but with kids, it works.

Shaq talks a little funny ;)

mkay, macey gray is a WEIRDO!!! but, aside from that tacky-azz bathroom, her home looks nice. her bedroom pales in comparison to most celebrities on cribs, but it was still nice. personally, i believe in mixing colors so i don't k now if i would have a orange room and a blue room, and so forth. but, i was really digging the chocolate room

there is something about brian mcknight that i just don't like but his house is nice. nothing to ooh and aah over and, except for his vehicle collection, his house looks like that of pretty much every other person who has come into a little money. not quite what i expected but it was nice

Macy Gray IS very crazy! She had me crackin' up at all of the actin' she had going on! And I didn't know she had three kids. That's like whoa! She seemed high the entire time she showed us the house. And...what was up with her changing clothes to match the different areas/rooms of her house? She's off the chain! I thought her house was aight.

Brian McKnight has a very nice house. There IS something about BM that's just wierd. Why did he and his wife break up again? I know she had about three children for him didn't she? And to hear him say that if a cutie passes by...holla at 'em...that's like whoa.

He has rubbed me the wrong way for years. I have not bought a CD or even pirated ;) since his CD with Anytime. Plus that whole non-voting stance sickens me. I admit I miss some of the primaries now and then but never the presidential elections.
