That's such a cute slideshow. Great job! Just wondering, with the previous houses demolished and the new ones not yet constructed, how did that impact recruitment for all the groups?

Did 3rd time PNM become 4th time PNM?

Thank you!
It was a struggle for everyone! We all recruited in the union for every round except pref rounds (some chapters went to different buildings on campus), and it was SUPER weird. But somehow we got through it!

I don't believe so! I know she did drop last year, but I think she just gave up. It's sad, really, that she was so fixated on one house that she couldn't even try with other houses (she went to multiple open recruitment events at her house of choice, but they never gave her a bid) but it's her decision, I guess.

Congrats to you all! I can't imagine recruitment at BG w/o the houses!

Maman 09-08-2014 07:37 PM

ss I asked. Sometimes a kind person will be blunt and guide the individual to other choices.

Thank you for your post. The "other side' posts are too infrequent, but they are equally filled with strong emotions.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I just watched your vid/slideshow, and it was very well done.

A co-worker became a new member of Gamma Phi Beta just a few weeks ago. She is really enjoying her New Member period.
