That is hysterical! Thankfully the Alpha Xi sign is very simply an X and an I, nothing that will cause arthritic convulsions or be misrepresented.

Wow, totally forgot about this post! I stumbled back to GC and decided I would update if anyone even recalls this ;)

I ended up staying at this particular chapter until ranking them low before prefs. I found my happy wonderful home and am now initiated somewhere else. I can also happily say that the friend in question ended up going to the dirty rushers! She's thrilled to be there and all's well that ends well.

I was pretty torn between my pref choices so I did kind of let this situation sway my opinion of the group...and as it turns out that they have somewhat of a "reputation" for playing dirty. I'm glad my friend came out on the bright side and I'm also glad that I found my wonderful sisters!
