No problem! I love shopping for people, and work is boring :)

Also, coral and turquoise is one of my favorite color combinations ever.

Ok, after happilyanchored's help (thanks again!) I found another dress I like for Sisterhood Day. Thoughts?

I also liked the orange one with a bow; I just liked the other two better. The lace one is cute-love the color- but it is strapless so unless you wear a cardigan or something over it, it could be difficult to wear. It's going to be hot, so you need something sleeveless & cool. Cool=comfortable. Think about comfort. These are going to be long days and you don't want to get too hot.

Well a lot of girls wear strapless at UGA rush, and I don't think the dress is super sexy looking so it wouldn't be a big deal or anything, but I was still worried it wouldn't be *quite* right for the occasion.

I can't really tell, because of the background, and the fact my computer sucks-- but it looks like the necklace is silver and the earrings are gold. I'm old school... and hate mixed metals if there isn't a piece that brings both metals together. (Like I said, Old School!) The necklace stands out so nicely, that I'm not sure you'd even need earrings with this.

The metal on the necklace is gold, it's just a bad picture :o

^^I agree. They were huge in TX when my dd was in camp and they are in where I live now. I think all of the outfits are perfect for my neck of the woods:)

In my experience Sperrys are very popular on many campuses. I live the metallic ones and wish those had been around back in my day.

They might be popular, stylish, in with the kids, but that still doesn't make my opinion about sporting clothing being worn when not participating in that activity any different, nor that I found a lot of the new styles from Sperry hard on the eyes. I am well aware of the difference in style choices, and that particular Sperry is too neutral with the other clothing choices.

The earrings are sort of blah - they look almost like thumbtacks. If the only reason you're wearing them is just to have earrings, I'd leave them off or go with a tiny pearl or turquoise stud.

True, I was just trying to keep the earrings simple because the necklace is so bold.

UGAgirl93 07-29-2012 11:41 PM

I don't think the earrings are totally horrible, but maybe a small, gold spherical stud would be better so they don't look like thumb tacks as the others said. :-)
