My fav commercial of all time is only played around winter/the holiday season. It's a cell phone commecrial, but I'm not sure which company. There's a man and a woman standing next to a broken down car and the woman is mad because they don't have a cell phone to call a tow truck. "You didn't buy me a cell phone, you bought me a waffle iron! Maybe I'll just use my fluffy new bath towels to send up smoke signals!" hehe, I love it!!! :D

My new favorite commercial is definitely the one for Sprint...with the sick monkey. The lady says "I told him to get a movie, something old." and he thought she said "get a monkey with a cold." The monkey is SOOOO cute and his actions and demeanor are HYSTERICAL :)

I LOVE the monkey commercial...that little bit at the end where he is blowing his nose? So cute! I *think* its debut was during the first game of the World Series, and all us Rally Monkey fans were ROLLING! :D

All the Sprint PCS commercials are pretty clever, though...I also crack up at the one with Siegfried and Roy in the convenience store.

Favorite is still AFLAC though...the one with Yogi Berra was priceless.

Wow... Anheuser-Busch is running 10 ads... big shock :rolleyes: I do miss the "Bud Bowl" though - that was a good concept. (Still won't touch Bud with a barge pole, though http://www.clicksmilies.com/sammlung/wuerg/wuerg003.gif )

I loved the Post-It commercials with the squirrels... especially the one where they're designing plans for raiding the bird feeder, and at the end they execute one of their plans - "So you can have a productive meeting... and then do lunch." :)

There was a radio spot featuring the ferret. The ferret was throwing a party, and Frank (one of the lizards) was telling Louie (the lizard who hated the ferret) who was going to be at the party. Frank was translating what the ferret was saying, and one of the lines was like "a few igaunas who need a good man, and a mongoose named lynette who likes to shake her booty on the dance floor" just the way that the ferret finished the line was hilarious. Then Louie asked why the ferret had so many lady friends, and Frank said ladies like the squeaks to which Louie said "They like it when he goes Wicky, Wicky, Wicky???"

I also liked the burger king commercial with the drive up menu talking to the college kids when the kid said he went to Community college and the sign remarked "Yeah, they should just call that extended High school"

Those AFLAC commercials are the best. Me and my husband crack up when we see those on TV. :)

The 7UP commercial with the overweight guys in bathing suits on the beach. My favorite part is when the one guy is caught in the fishing net, lol.

Does anyone else love the Value City "You'll find a reason to go shopping" commercials? They make me smile every time! I love the new one where the wife smacks the husband in the head with her purse because the straps are "too long"! :D

I love those commercial with that cute duck saying 'AFLAC', those are funny. I also love the Foster's beer commercials, they are so hiliarious!

I have only seen this commercial 3 or 4 times and even that was a while ago... This guy's playing whack-a-mole and he has a bud in his hand. All of a sudden his beer's gone and he's looking around. So, he finally peers into the whack-a-mole thing and there's a mole sitting there holding onto his beer in the corner, and then you see another mole coming up behind the guy with the mallet, getting ready to hit him. That one gets me every time. I also love the AFLAC commercials and some of the Geico ones.

i love the chewy granola commercials were the kids talk too much. there is this one girl that is having dinner with her mom and grandmother. this waitress comes to the table in the french maid's uniform. the little girl is like 'mommy, that is the same outfit that dad got for you!' then there is this boy with his mother and they walk into this lady that the mother knows. the little boy is like 'mommy, i thought you said she had two faces.'

i also like the geico car insurance commercials with the baseball game and the prisoner. oh and the other one when the geico employee is talking about how providing insurance 24 hours a day has destroyed some of the emloyee's families.

I like the cat food one where the cat says "Meow meow meow meow" and the man sitting on the couch watching tv looks around and starts singing "BEER BEER BEER BEER" to the same tune. His wife gives him SUCH a look, and he ends up just wandering into the kitchen and getting his own beer.

The Meow Mix commercials are another of my favorites. When I was a baby, my mom would sing the commercial's jingle and that made me smile. Now, when I see them, I sing along to them!

This is really for people in California or who have visited California recently. California Cheese has this great ad campaign about how good cheese comes from happy cows and happy cows come from California. Anyway, the newest commercial has this cute little pig with black spots all over him who goes up to a group of cows and starts talking about the weather. The cows are like WTF? The camera then pans out to some pigs in a pen up on the hill. They're like, "oh no, look at little ___ (can't remember name of pig). He thinks he's a cow again." The other pig says "Everybody's got to have a dream."

It is the CUTEST commercial. The webpage for the ads is supposed to be www.calif-dairy.com but I can't seem to get the site to work.

i just saw this one the other day:
I's for Crest Whitestrips, and it's some woman's dream. She's doing Riverdance with a bunch of William Shatners and they're all wearing white. Then it's her in bed w/ her husband....I don't get the William Shatner part but it's histerically funny, esp. if it's late at night lol.

I love the ebay commercials w/ the short, stout man running around town and singing/dancing w/ random people. I saw him on Broadway...he was Timon in The Lion King lol :)

OK i haven't checked to see if someone has said this one but i really think that code red mountain dew commercial where the basketball team mascot goes for a dunk and a guy from the stands comes from nowhere and rejects him is an awesome one. There's no way the first time you see it you are expecting it.

Speaking of web commercials, I saw a foreign commercial where this guy is in the supermarket with a little boy and the kid starts going nuts. He's screaming, throwning packages on the floor, and then he lays down in the middle of the aisle. Everyone is staring and the guy feels like an idiot. Then, the slogan and logo of a condom company come up. Very funny! :)

I like the Sprint PCS commercial where the Dad is explaining to the Sprint guy that his 2 daughters have been sharing a phone. Then the phone rings and the 2 girls start beating the crap outta each other to get it! Looks very convincing! LOL:D

frontier airlines has some cute ones. they involve talking critters on plane tails. my favorite involves a rabbit talking to a fox. he asks the fox to dinner. the fox says she'd like to have the rabbit for dinner. the rabbit says "check please." you can see them on the company's web site.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that commercial for Sour Skittles where its a Chinese family and they are trying to make this guy look at the baby. He popps a skittle in his mouth and makes a face. The baby gets scared and starts crying and the family starts hitting and screaming at the guy. LOL, that is SO what my family would do!!

This is totally reviving an old thread, but I noticed it when moving stuff...most of my LJ is friends-only, but I left one random post open where I was talking about how much I love the yogurt commercial that goes "You're my little fluffy one, my fluffy wuffy one that makes my mouth go yuuuum..." and between emails and comments, over 20 people found my journal that way!!!

I love the new commercials for the Citibank Fraud protection. They have this big guy with a beer who has a voice-over that is valley girl. She talks about how she bought this leather bustier but doesn't care because she didn't pay for it. "1500?! It lifts and seperates! Plus, it wasn't like I bought it. Tee-hee!" The commercial is hilarious!

I really like that new Nike football commercial with Mike Vick and Terrel Owens. its cool.

New Yorkers will relate to this...

One of my current faves is an ad for (I think) Mercedes. A woman is driving her husband to the airport. She asks him what time his flight leaves. When he tells her, she gets this "oh sh*t" look on her face and starts driving like a maniac because he's going to miss his flight. She pulls up at the terminal, he gets out of the car, and a skycap comes up to him and says "Welcome to JFK." At which point he jumps back in the car and yells "LaGuardia! LaGuardia!!"

I can suspend disbelief to the point where I can picture the Belt and Van Wyck with minimal traffic, but to believe that a skycap at a New York airport would say "welcome" ... nope. ;)
