I was always one of those little girls who got into my mom's makeup--but I wasn't allowed to wear it out in public, much to my dismay.

When I was about 11 or 12, the daughter of some of my parents' friends, who was 15 and SO, SO cool, showed me the right way to put on makeup, and opened Pandora's Box--I've been wearing it regularly (and quite colorfully, at times) ever since 6th grade--and now I work at Sephora.

Coincidentally enough, the girl who taught me how to do my makeup is now one of my mentors for my major! :)
