Maybe we should all sing the "Barney Song" instead! Time for an earworm.

I love you, you love me. We're a perfect family...

You guys are just getting the pleasure to know WB in recent years. The mainstream media really caught on to them after we invaded Iraq and they decided to protest high profile deaths of soldiers.

But anyone from Kansas will tell you that we've had the pleasure to know their acquaintance for a long time. Especially if you lived in Wichita because at one time, we had 3 clinics that performed abortions so......yeah - good times.

Sorry they decided to share the love with the rest of the world.

Oh no...I just learned that they are planning to protest at the high school where I'm an intern. They posted a schedule of protests here: http://www.godhatesfags.com/schedule.html

Gunderson HS (at the bottom) will be performing a play about a gay high school student. I'm really worried about this...

They 'plan' to protest everything. Best thing for people to do is just NOT pay them attention.

Fred Phelps is the biggest closet case I've ever seen.

This. Don't worry about them.

Besides, what often happens is that people who would have ignored what you're doing will turn up to support it because of WBC.

By a 8-1 decision the SCOTUS upheld their right to protest. Also a 5-4 decision to not allow the father to collect $5 MM in damages against them.

Unfortunately the SCOTUS got it right on the first one and since that is the case the second had to fall the way it did.

One of my friends is complaining on Facebook about how she can't believe the court ruled in favor of Westboro. If she wants the right to say that, she has to understand the court's decision was in the interest of free speech, no matter how distasteful.
